Politics › Re: NNPC Is Now 'northern Nigeria Petroleum Company' - Nigerians Slam Buhari by bezimo(m): 2:53pm On Jul 05, 2016
Buhari hypocrisy and bigoted nature stinks to high heavens. He is obviously presiding over the Federal Republic of Daura.

Only competent folks in the North.Right.
when the system implode it would be everybody to answer their fathers name.

gamargu:
My guy stop lying for once in your life. The south where cheating and fake certificates are scattered has more intellectuals than the north don't make me laugh.
Go to the north and see intellectuals in the universities not your aba made intellectuals. Stop beating your chest over beer parlour gossip
When you know the truth is been spoken instead of countering with relevant facts and truths opposing my submission you resort to frivolous and empty rhetorics.

Whether you admit or not the South is miles ahead of the North in terms of Academic, Intellectual and competent professionals. And this is no mistake, one pointer to this truth is the recently concluded UTME where the performance and enrolment of 8 northern states wasnt even up to a single state in the SE not to talk of SW.

Take your misguided argument to the garbage because you are just ranting.

How many private University in the North compared to the South, how many SANs do the North have compared to the South.
The answer is here
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Senior_Advocates_of_Nigeria
A breakdown without considering the newly confirmed SAN' s shows the following

North 3
South West 15
South East 5
South South 5
Total South = 25
3(North) Vs 25(South). Shows they cannot be compared. As big as the North its only 3 SAN is recognised from the region.

What intellectuals do the north produce? Abi is it those Imams and Alfas that instigate misguided youths to religious violence and destruction and become an embarassement to a rational and sane society as we have seen time and again.

[South West -11
South East -7
The Entire North - 4

I guess this is Southernization ba? If it was the other way round, our brothers from the Yeast will start chanting Northernization, calling the President all sorts of names

Before you crucify me, check my moniker, I'm a full blooded Yoruba man.

All I'm saying is we shouldn't politicise everything in order to get likes from our ilks. Nigerian youths of today have to be constructively critical.
Your statement is baseless and unfounded. First and foremost the distribution of the regions of the comfirmed new SANs is a reflection of what obtains in each region in reality.

As big as the North is, they produced only 4 SAN which shows there arent really eneough competent lawyers in the North when compared to the South. This explains why when Buhari was trying to defend the fact that he didnt have a Waec certificate, he got 15 SANs majority of who were from the south.

The north is backward when it comes to the number of intellectuals and sound professionals found therein when compared to the south but a bigoted and tribalistic Buhari thinks only competent folks are found in the North hence his lopsided appointments which has generated public outcry which have questioned his selections to determine whether he is presiding over the Federal republic of Daura or Federal republic of Nigeria.

https://www.nairaland.com/3205076/buharis-deafening-silence-true-federalism

Some Yorubas are the most shamesless hypocrites I know. They tell you oil is irrelevant. Yet they can't stand the sight of Niger Delta avengers. I really can't blame the hausas and fulanis; they're just a bunch of ignorant fellows.

Why can't you guys just understand that the region is tired of feeding the entire country at the cost of their own environmental degradation. The militants have presented the case of the region before the federal government, why has the government chosen to go after the Militants, ignoring the problem. And before you preach the gospel of environmental impact of the NDA bombings, I want to put it to you that the effect of their bombings is infinitesimal compared to what Shell, chevron and nnpc spills have done to us.

I tell you something, it is either the government looks towards true federalism, or one day, Nigeria will wake up to see the 20 million Niger Deltans turn militants.

You are a civil servant in Osun state, paid from oil money from Niger Delta and you still have the guts to be talking against Niger Deltans calling them criminals and accusing them of being selfish. Then guy, I fear you.

Do you know the sacrifice every Niger Deltan family pays to sustain the economy of Nigeria. Have you really considered the actual cost of oil exploration in the region? Until you do, just shut up and ask the government to do something.

Yes, all we have is oil. If we do not use it to develop our region, no one will. After all, when there was no oil, who cared about the region.

Maybe I wouldn't be writing this, but when your father has to abandon his many plots of land to oil spill, you'll further understand. When Mobil is exploiting oil in your local government, and all their top managers are hausas and yorubas, and you apply for IT, after writing the exams you're told very few vacancies exist. And you see your Yoruba colleague who didn't even write the exams telling you he's doing IT in Mobil, you'll also understand.

You'll finally understand when you're lucky to be the one nominated by the community to work with the oil servicing firm working in the area, but them you're the chief security. The other 4 guys from your community working with them are pipeline welders.

My apologies to well thinking Nigerians who understands our plight from any tribe I mentioned. I do not support bombings and economic sabotage. But I am of the side that since all these successive unitary government can't solve our problems, like that of other region, let's then practice true federalism
Family › Re: Wives, Stop Fighting Your Men. Use Your Feminine Wiles To Get What You Want! by bezimo(m): 6:59pm On Jul 03, 2016
5minsmadness:
Indeed it is the age of equality. We hear it everyday on this family section how a woman should stand up to her husband and refuse to be oppressed (even if there was no oppression intended in the first place). Such talks make it look like marriage is a battlefield and there is no peace between the sexes. Some people even begin to wonder why they should get married at all when marriage apparently looks so miserable.

Well, I am here to say that marriage is only miserable to you as a woman if you want it to be! Men are natural born fighters , you can't start fighting your man as well in his own house. No man worth his salt will take it. Men were built to dominate. If you start wanting to dominate him in his own house that he paid rent for or built, insisting that he washes the plates or washes the clothes or sweeps the house or take care of the kids while u sleep all in the name of equality, you will make him set up a wall against you. He may outrightly defy you or he may sulk and do what you have ordered but be sure he is bitter about it and wondering when you became the man of the house. Soon enough if he cannot be a man indoors, he will start to look for how he can be one outside.

Having said that, a woman is a human being as well and not a workhorse or slave. She needs help as well and men have an excessive amount of muscle to spare to help around the house , especially if you cannot afford a maid. So how do you as a woman seek help from your husband without sounding like a nagging frustrated loveless feminist?

Simple. Use the gift that God gave you. Use the things that attracted your man to marry you in the first place. Use your womanliness, your feminine charms and grace! Use sweet words garnished with love and not commanding and off-putting tone that bristles with scorn. Esther was able to play with the crown of the most dangerous man in Babylon, not because she felt entitled, neither because she felt the man was equal to her. No! Her feminine charms made him as meek as a lamb in her hands.

Use your charm to handle your man and not your sharp tongue. Use your sweetness, quick wit, love and unsolicited kisses to get what you want from your king instead of declaring your rights like a country looking for every opportunity to secede. I assure you, you will get a lot more done by being a lady instead of a nag.

Peace.
How I wish our women can embrace this truth and walk in its reality. There would be less fightings with their partners and more win-win situations.

I heard one of my respected mentors say his beloved wife of over 32 years hardly challenges his position but rather flows along.Thats why according to him, there is nothing his wife wants in this world that he cannot give to her.

But our young women think that is an outdated way of life. They challenge their man, claim equality of rights, fight him, abuse him, disrespect him, yet they want their marriage to be blissfull and glorious. You cant sow thorns and reap pearls.

If a girl you like is in a relationship, simply free her and find someone else.

No wonder the white man who knows how to encourage and celebrate little little beautiful efforts of their kids and children would always be ahead of the black man with his PHD mentality.

Politics › Re: Nigeria’s Sovereignty Is Negotiable, Says Soyinka by bezimo(m): 3:49pm On Jun 29, 2016
When a learned man is speaking on sensitive issues from an informed perspective, its always obvious.

Soyinka has giving credence to the need for true fedralism and decentralisation of government. But we know those guys up north are against it because they would be the worst losers should it happen having been a parasite region to other regions because they have nothing to fall to. All they offer is religious violence at the slightest provocation.

True fedralism is upon us and must be realised. The region that produce only groundnut and sugercane must sustain themselves with that and let other region sustain themselves with the resources found in their respective zones.

But why the increasing call for a centralisation of government and true fedralism under a Buhari led government. Its because he from a poor region of the country is obviously leading a highly divisive government that doest potray federal unity as evidenced by discrimating and segregating against people from the other more bouyant regions which never happened in previous democratic administrations, thus making people question if it is the Fedreal Republic of Nigeria or the Federal republic of daura.

When a person kills someone out of wickedness, that person also deserves to be put to death either by jungle justice or by court sentence.

My only fear is if the person who who was burnt to death really did that dehumanising crime if yes, rightly deserved.

Quick justice to serve as a deterrent to others. I know some folks will argue that it is antithetical to a developed system, but Nigeria law enforcement and court system is one of the worst in the world so people unavoidably take laws into their hands.

Well, Unlike the Slovakians, Italy don't just defend, they attack and defend in a very coordinated and organized manner! you wont compare Barzagli, Bonucci and Chellini to the Slovakian back line. like Xavi said, they are a hybrid of Barca and Atletico! Attack on 3-3-4 defend on 5-3-2. The Germans have a leaky defense and fowards who find it hard converting chances [prior to the last game ].. With a Conte masterclass anyone who dont think Italy can't defeat the Germans should have a rethink.
Well observed.
