CultureRe: Yorubas In Nigeria That Can't Speak Yoruba by Bhola(f): 11:01pm On Aug 15, 2006
You want to cure this disease of kids not speaking your language, then get married to someone from your ethnic group. Believe me, your kids will learn, if you the parents want them to learn. If you feel it is an inferior language to English, then that one na your own o. I speak Yoruba and even though I mix it up with English, you no fit sell me in Yoruba.

For the Nigerians in Nigeria that can't speak their native language, shame on you.

Sup Diddy. Long time. How you doing? And yes, you are welcome. You can also let's know your height, so that we can do the appropriate pairing. wink

Seems we either don't have tall sistas here or we have a lot of sistas under 21. Neways, it's all good.

Zahy hon, you are good in something else. I am sure you can write a programme for a girl and she'll appreciate it. It is a matter of finding what you like doing and presenting it to the girl.

So, no girl taller than you. I guess you still have more inches to add.

Zahymaka, yes you are allowed, though the goal is to pair all the tall sistas to the tall brodas. Just kidding. At the end, the guys will be allowed to cast a vote, whether they like girls taller than them or not.

Iice, you definitely don't want to grow taller. Take it from me. When you are taller than the average men around you, then you have a problem, if you are one of those that insist on dating guys taller than you, then you got only a few to choose from. Take me for example, I love to rock my heels, so add 3 inches to my height and I am already over 6ft. Now, pray tell, where I go find tall men? The ones available, think they are all that and a pack of chips, like my co-worker will say.

I'll rather be 5ft 7inches, but oh well, I am not, so I go enjoy the one I have.
FashionRe: Can You Wear A Bikini? by Bhola(f): 5:11pm On Aug 15, 2006
This is the thing about Nigerians that pisses me off. What does wearing a bikini and God's temple and religion have to do with each other. I mean, com'on, it is not like you are wearing it to go to church or mosque or walking on the streets. I believe there is an outfit for everywhere you are going. So, it will definitely be inappropriate for me to wear a bikini to say school and wear jeans to a pool.

Oh well, to each his own. When we all stop deceiving each other about all these you are a Nigerian BS and you are a daughter of BS, then we'll be able to progress.

If me, that I am rocking my bikini is a good girl inside-out and you that you refuse to wear one is a rotten girl, I wonder who is a using her temple well.

I could put my bikini pic here, but like someone said, I don't want to make you blind. My profile might have one.

Ok, I was going through the threads and there are two articles on height. One about guys not crazy about tall girls and one about girls not crazy about tall guys.

So here is this thread, it is for Tall sistas. If you are above 5ft 6in, and over 21, because, really, some people have not stopped growing, lets know you.

I'll start. I stand 5ft 11inches.  The average height for a male in America is 5ft 9in. With my height, I am taller than 99% of the female in America.

And yes, I have stopped growing, thank God.

So that the guys don't feel left out, there will be a poll, to find out how many NLanders like tall sistas. Thanks!
FashionRe: Can You Wear A Bikini? by Bhola(f): 6:07am On Aug 15, 2006
I sure can wear a bikini. As a matter of fact, I love it. You got flat tummy, show it off. Ok, maybe not just flat tummy, but if you have a good body show it. Why go to the beach in jeans and t-shirt?

But this summer, I went with a one piece. More like an halter one piece.

FamilyRe: Polygamy: Do Women Really Find It Acceptable? by Bhola(f): 7:25am On Aug 13, 2006
The question is, why would a wealthy woman marry a younger woman for her husband. That is a misery to me too. I mean, why get married in the first place, if you can't fulfil the duties of a wife. I think, most women that do so, are either lazy or they don't have respect for the marriage institution.

I do not find it acceptable and I can never, ever, be in a polygamous marriage. It is me, me and me alone. Not, first wife, not second wife, ONLY wife. Most people will argue that there are more female than male, so polygamy is allowed, simply BS.

Christianity EtcRe: Saturday The True Day Of Worship? by Bhola(f): 9:54pm On Aug 07, 2006
In light of this development, I think we should all join hands and pray for Bobbyaf. I mean, that is a big and offensive thing to say or think or type. In the process of trying to drive home his point, he has committed a big no-no.

What do y'all think? Babyosisi, Malik, 4get_me, lordimpaq, syrup, GL, TayoD and all others. I think he needs the spirit of patience.

Bobbyaf, here is my prayer, I pray that you'll be humble enough to want to learn from others and above all, may His grace be with you.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Test Gatecrashers Are Dumb by Bhola(f): 8:02am On Aug 07, 2006
I feel so sad after reading this thread. I can't believe someone would actually be flaunting something like that. It is only in a country like Nigeria, that someone like duttybarb, would be feeling all high and mighty because she is going to write a test.

Now, when things start to happen to people in the future and they don't know why it is happening, they'll have forgotten all they did in the past. Duttybarb, may your past not come to hunt you in the future. You definitely need to apologize to a lot of people. You are indeed insecure and annoying. I just dislike people like you. You are definitely not going to get a job, if I was the interviewer. Cos I do behavioral interviewing and from the questions I will ask you, I'll know that you are full of nothing.

To all the job seekers, mehn, I feel for you. I mean, I go through the post and I just feel sad. I know how it feels, at least my sister had to go through all that. Hang in there, something good will happen by His grace!
PhonesRe: Motorola RAZR V3 Phone by Bhola(f): 2:00am On Aug 07, 2006
Sucks big time. Every Tom, Dick and Stanley has it. I hate it so much right now. I was one of the first to get it. Peeps were asking to see it, now it is everywhere. I so hate it! With stupid background noise and stuff.

Thank God, there are newer, slimmer phone. Most definitely changing this stupid thing, called V3.

Infact, I acknowledge all those people as well. The best threads/articles are in the religion forum.

Maybe I should open a thread, about the best poster.
