priceaction: Mmm. You can't blame them. Blame the lagos state govermnt banning of lawma because they are responsible for the removal of medical wastes. I think we can see the other effect of policies of lagos state government on lawma. The road sweepers were being owed 5months salaries and the medical vans to evacuate this are less functioning, what do you expect. dude, look at the post and the comments below. that post is untrue. its fake and lacks authenticity. its really disheartening that Nigerians dont read properly or read through or read inbetween the lines before the conclude. that hospital ever since i do go there, it has alway been tidy. |

fineboynl: an Igbo man told me Ohanaeze is more like a political party. they love more sharing and negotiations bid that will benefit them for a sell out. that's why the IBO youth don't take them serious. its very east to buy an IBO man.
no wonder Nnamdi KANU commands more respect, he has showed himself to be different from all other movement. and the IBO youth and strongly behind KANU. what on earth has Nnamdi Kanu given to his immediate society? how many ibo youth has gotten a very good job through him? how many ibo youth has gotten his life changed by him? who and who has he empowered in entrepreneurial field of life?? |

never can such speed cause an accident of this magnitude almsofgold: Fallacy! There's no such thing as a skilled driver, only fortunate ones. Have you ever seen the size of those demarcations? A vehicle doing 60/70 kph can have such impact like the one shown in the pics. Don't be full of yourself. God watches over us all. |

almsofgold: He may not be familiar with that road.this is an everyday occurrence there.the demarcations are sometimes located at sharp bends making difficult for even skilled drivers to out manouver it.its an accident , it can happen to anyone.dont be quick to judge For the fact that he does not know the road, does that now give him the license to over speed? irrespective of his familiarity on the road, he should not drive as fast as that! look at the damaged car, the vehicle tumbled! he bump into the barricade for christ sake! A skilled driver will not have such fatal accident on that road. |

Gone are the days that you will come to Nairaland that you will see some trending topic that makes alot of sense and will always want you to come to Nairaland every now and then because you are well assured that each time you log into Nairaland, you will be able to see things that will either be informative to you, to your siblings, to your business, to your family and relatives, to your organisation that you work for as well as your school and your immediate society. But recently, the trending topics on Nairaland will want to make you cry. Those trends are these kind of topics and posts that will want to make you cry due to the topic or the contents. some of the stories are quite so annoying that you wish to slate whomever that posted such annoying topic that is not even making a sense. You will see trends like see the snake a nairalander kill in his hostel or you see [b]check out the new car bought by one xyz somebody[b] or you see posts like [b] check out picture of abc and efg throw back[b] you see too many posts that makes no sense to the society. Nairaland was set up to ensure that the society enjoy up to date information not stupid posts that makes no sense nor contribute to make better of people's life. Moderators has been working profusely to ensure that we all enjoy nairaland, they work tirelessly to ensure that Nairaland is a place where you come to get up to date information and news. But its quite unfortunate that the posts they approved to make front pages are always filled with absurd. The level at which they approve just anyhow topic is quite alarming and its gradually making Nairaland to be less popular, it has made people to have disbeliefs on Nairaland. Gone are the days (for your information am an old Nairalander) where moderators will asks for how authentic a post is before approving. |

gimbayaro: Nigeria's Naira firmed 1.1 percent to 510 on the black market on Wednesday, bureau de change (BDC) traders said, after the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) started to supply dollars for retail transactions in a bid to narrow the spread with the official exchange rate.
Most BDCs were showing only offers to sell at 510 with no bids, having sourced dollars privately at peak rates of 520 per dollar. The naira was quoted at 305.25 per dollar on the official market.
The CBN stepped up dollar sales on the interbank currency market on Tuesday, a day after it effectively devalued the naira for retail currency sales
