Pierced: They should just calm down, and accept their loss, so that innocent Nigerians don't get caught up in the cross fire.
After all, if there should be crisis, they would all fly their family members abroad, and leave the poor masses to suffer, and die for nothing.
Atiku lost because of his selfishness, the injustice he committed againt Gej in 2015, has come back to hunt.
If he's truly a believer of democracy, then a peaceful Nigeria should be above his presidential ambition. There can be no peace without war - a war not with weapons but with law suits, demonstrations, alert of the International community etc |

Chubhie: Atiku must in clear terms reject that sham of an election and also let the international community know that our law courts are in the pockets of the executive.
The court of the streets shall determine who they truly voted for in the coming days. May the will of the people blaze in holy anger against everyone that perpetuated this madness called election. Even better let buhari be president of Northern Nigeria and let Atiku be the president of Southern Nigeria. |
Politics › Re: What Nigerians Should Expect From Buhari’s Second Term by BigBashiru: 4:18pm On Feb 27, 2019 |
Those who believe Buhari is for Nigerians are in for a rude awakening when the new senate which is majority APC will vote to amend the constitution to have unlimited terms (i.e. beyond two terms as president) - plus the rigging infrastructure in place already - so Buhari will be in power till like 85+ just like his fellow dictators Biya of Cameroon and Mugabe. I can only wish Nigeria the best and hope life and property remains secure in areas of Nigeria where I have interests - hey Borno voted Buhari massively - go figure!!!
Infrastructure is actually a state government responsibility but because Nigerians have suffered for so long, they hail governments that do ordinary things like roads and rail that should be basic.... |

Gandollaar: So you you think buhari is really fighting corruption? Sorry Baba. So you think buhari will not shield his men who are found wanting? Oga sorry sir!
First off, if buhari had intergrity and was out to fight corruption, he would have done so holistically from day one, re-election or no reelection!! Well said... |

Dannyset: Hahaha. What I don't know now is if you have recovered from the 2015 loss or the wailing of the 2019 has started so quick.
See, we will let you guys suffer and wail in agony instead of honouring you with an explanation. Who came up with this "wailer" nonsense - all Nigerians want is a good leader thats all. If that good leader is Buhari then great. I have looked at his attempt to remove saraki as senate president and cjn appointment and it would seem the man seeks a totalitarian regime. Also there are case studies from other African dictators who have done the same thing i.e. create a one party state or create a one party legislative, judiciary and executive. |
Politics › Buhari Will Alter Constitution To Create Unlimited Terms Via An APC Senate by BigBashiru(op): 2:04pm On Feb 27, 2019 |
Buhari will alter constitution to create unlimited terms via an APC Senate - the new Senate has APC 2/3 majority so its now easy to alter the constitution anyhow Buhari wants. Want to go to court? Its already fully compromised as well with Tanko Mohammed unconstitutionally appointed. Just like his fellow African dictators have done, I foresee Buhari altering the consitution for unlimited terms via HIS Senate. He wants to be president forever and be succeeded by someone else he chooses. |
Politics › Re: What Are Atiku’s Chances Of Winning At Tribunal? by BigBashiru: 1:18pm On Feb 27, 2019 |
Dino98: Exactly what I wanted to say...
APC played the game well and right infront of supposedly intelligent Nigerians. They knew what they were going to do...they knew it will lead to this. So they made sure to take out all obstacles.
This is the very reason Onnonghen was set aside. They had the allegations against him since but waited to use it now.
I must say, APC are a bunch of smart people. They really know Nigerians. Notice how whenever they do something wrong, Nigerians complain and complain but it eventually all fades away??
They are too intelligent I swear...they had their plans all along. They knew it will all end at the tribunal, so they removed Onnonghen a southerner and put a northerner. Then they made sure to remove Saraki too.
So right now, the 3 arms of government....Executive headed by APC, legislative will be headed by APC and Judiciary headed by a northerner appointed by APC. Literally, they own us. I will never allow myself to be ruled by an illiterate man who cannot find his waec certificate. |

lexy2014: Don't b surprised if there will b a third term agenda which will easily sail thru. Right now anything is possible Exactly. And Nigeria will go the path of Cameroon with Biya ruling at 85+ and Mugabe and a few African countries. I can't remember the African country by name but there's a country in a similar situation where the president via the Senate he controls altered the constitution to remove age limits and also altered the constitution to have UNLIMITED terms not just 3rd term. Again I don't pity Nigerians they are the architects of their own misfortune. |

lexy2014: U have made very salient points but many folks don't c what u are seeing. We respect d big men more than we respect d institutions. We are prepared to protect d big men against d institutions instead of d other way around There's a bill to restrict activities of csos - civil society organizations are the voice of the masses; the bill will now pass. Buhari is known for censorship, you can no longer call buhari a dullard in nairaland or say "PDP" as you can get arrested under hate speech laws. Shut down of media houses. Anyway I don't pity Nigerians. |

fk002: Okay Tanko is waiting for you guys
Who ever thinks Buhari is a dullard should have a second thought.
Buhari saw this coming that's why he sacked PDP's puppet of a CJN and install Justice Tanko. How thoughtful of him. And do you think he did it for Nigerians or for himself? Nigerians are very short sighted. Buhari's second ten will be a dictatorial regime with APC majority in the Senate Buharu will have full control over executive, legislative and judiciary. Those who lived under hitler didn't smile. But I don't pity Nigerians; they are the architect of their own misery. |

Arsenalholic: God!!! I finally gave up on Nigeria on Saturday. Funny thing is that the APC won majority of seats in the Senate. It's going to be a serious bleeping this second term.
This man knew he was going to come back for a second term and still rammed c0ck into Nigerian's @sses -- what will he do in this second term when he has nothing to lose?
One thing I am sure of, between now and May 29th there will be a mass exodus from Nigeria. People are tired!
P.S. I am not a supporter of PDP or APC (I mean, they are both useless parties) but I really pity those celebrating up there and ridiculing the "wailers". Y'all know in your heart of heart that Mr. "Fresident" used the military and uncanny means to massively rig this election and the fact that it doesn't prick your heart that this country is messed up. It really makes me sad. Dont mind the Nigerians, its not about Buhari's character or capacity or his intention to stop all the massacre in the land - its simply about the "wailers". |

Hotfreeze: Yes Thieves and looters can go to hell
By 2023, PDP would have sense and not bring a thief I cant disagree with this. PDP is a party that embraced ibori upon his return from a UK jail. But Buhari is also a thief - a very crooked one. He budgeted 1 billion for international flights for himself in 2019 and 90 million for meals. So both are thieves - one is just more popular than the other. Buhari cannot give what he does not have; plain and simple. |

Zeezxo: I dedicate this to everyone who have supported the President physically, Financially, Spiritually and in any other way. Thanks those who voted for and those who voted against. Let come together to help this government. Let stop all these nepotism, Religious Bigotry, Tribalism, Etchnic crises. And form a better Nigeria. IPOB, Oduduwa, Arewa, is not our Country but Nigeria. Let stand for one Nigeria. Its not about nepotism its about common sense. A 76 year old cannot perform the duties of a president because he does not have the capacity... theres a reason the age of retirement in most countries is 70. This man will spend months abroad for treatment- he should go and rest. I am saying this because I love the man not out of hate. |
