Romance › Males And Violent Crime - A Second Look by BigBashiru(op): 8:16pm On Feb 26, 2019
In the last thread we looked at how social constructs of toxic masculinity raises young boys with harmful stereotypes and gender roles of stoicism, always strong, never expresses emotions unless it's anger and how these things leads to the raising of very violent males. We also touched on how feminism has created awareness of toxic masculinity and we have seen success in adjustment of male behaviours certain demographics.

Today we are looking at violent crime grin

Why are 95% of violent crime in every police department worldwide committed by men? I'm talking of crimes involving brurality like mass shootings, gruesome murders, etc.

Are men an inferior gender compared to women? grin

Please don't take this personally im just trying to generate a conversation.

Nigerians love discussing politicians without regard to what they are actually doing for you. Are they discussing you the same way you are discussing them?? When last did they report on progress on projects in your area to you? Yet ppl commit threads to politicians and spend all their time discussing politicians. Is the general hospital in your area truly functional?

Of course...

Chaps like Tambuwal are still young and may fancy their chances...especially IF APC does not do too well.

But the SE and SW are in the front seat for 2023 . See the funny way Umahi of Ebonyi is behaving for example (one foot in both pies)….and see how people like Kalu of Abia and Okorocha are also positioning themselves.

Nigerians take your destiny into your own hands.
The issue is between now and 2023 thousands will die in car crashes(God forbid), thousands to terrorism(God forbid)... so we need a president that is young and works sharply and also a president that puts pressure on state governors to perform.

I tire for Nigeria sha

There is a reason why Atiku ran now...it was his last chance.

2023 is going to be a battle royale between the SW and SE....with the North playing kingmaker.

I doubt any Northerner is coming back in 2023. The unofficial rotation system we have must be sustained.
No one gives away power easily....

We had it during OBJ/Atiku time. PDP dominated the House, both upper and the lower chambers. We saw what came out it, let see what APC will do with their own.
With all due respect waiting and see what apc does with theirvown isn't smart. Absolute power corrupts. Most likely it will be abused.

this next four years..menh make i tie my belt..alot of stuff will happen...hunger .power misuse, scarcity of fuel or hike in price...mark my words...but behold God will be with us..
Power misuse especially. Apc controlled Senate effectively gives buhari total power since once apc senators vote majority, illegal or dictatorship laws like military decrees can get passed.

And also this election was massively rigged by both parties. Nigerians should fight for evoting.
Politics › Re: APC To Dominate Senate by BigBashiru: 12:15pm On Feb 26, 2019
Nigerians discuss politics from an entertainment perspective e.g. this person moved from apc or that person moved from pdp; instead of discussing politics based on how it affects them and their issues.

Over the last 4 years, has the general hospital in your area improved?

Which senator can make it improve?

How can s/he be contacted - these are the sorts of things that should be raised not just discussing and fighting over them while they collect 14 million per month.
This is the number 2 step to a better Nigeria.

All thanks to Kwarans for voting out the rotten head of the senate (the worst Senate in the history of Nigeria!).

To a fresh start we go, a senate that will approve all the good and favourable laws and budget in time, not the ones bringing problems to the nation and ONLY think about how to loot our national treasury.

To the NEXT LEVEL we go...
A single party presidency, SENATE majority (apc majority will influence votes to favor apc),, presidency appointed chief justice undermines democracy as it will be a totalitarian regime but if that's what you want then sure; I won't argue.

Keep deceiving your self by thinking prayers without action will put this country out of its misery. Don’t start being creative with finding solutions and see how you can begin to be involved in causing an upset against our current disaster. We had a lesser evil in GEJ but due to ethnic sentiments and tribal bigotry he was accused of making Nigerians flourish lavishly as it trickled down even to the base of our economy. Nigerians now have a Buhari please stick with him for another 8 years if possible. I support Nigerians as I affirm that they should continue to allow the majority idiots, low lives, fools, directionless zombies continue to make decisions that should have been in the best interest of our country if the reverse were the case. We Nigerians deserve the leaders we get because majority of us are confused people who neither know their left from their right. Worse off is the fact that the stark illiterates who are condemned to be bond slaves forever and have no trouble with that makes the decisions the whole of Nigeria should accept. Continue praying you hear. Your children children will also be praying too.mtcheew
E voting will solve most election related problems but know Nigerians and their negative mindset they will say evoting isn't possible - dats another sign of laziness and low iq.

It is you and your fellow hate mobs that will go into hiding soon. Atiku is winning this election. I've said it over and over again that you lots should quote me. Saraki will be appointed SGF in the new govt. He deserves it. He will laugh last.
Don't mind these people celebrating evil. Based on age alone Buhari isn't fit to run. He will be 80 by the end of the second term and ppl will still be supporting him..... something must be wrong with Nigerians.

how many political party do we have in America?
Are you so brainwashed by inferiority complex that you must do what is done in America? Let's give the benefit of doubt you are mentioning America because it's more developed; you should be aware that USA two party system is ideology based.... not like in Nigeria where a pdp can switch to apc one year and in 6 months back to pdp. In America if you are republican we know wat you believe if you are a democrat we know your ideology. Just based on party alone. Sane can't be said of PDP and apc.

Yeah, I actually specified gender on my post. It is a masculine stupidity to some level. They taught us that love is a sign of weakness and women are beneath men and so many other stuf . Even if an educated woman gets married to an illiterate, she has resigned herself to fate and follow the instruction of the idiot. It is sad when the male do not even accept the fact that they are ignorant and bestial.

I am very careful who I even talk to, but I am excited that I live in a community where only the smartest call home.
@ the bolded. You nailed it!! All these apc and pdp chieftains needed to do isseat down and have a discussion and make compromises to their ambitions. Also showing themselves love - that love word is alien to male stereotypes - u r only strong if you shoot and kill not if you love.

It is a race thing, when a particular race refuse to study beyond their limitations. We know the root cause is illiteracy, but what about a race that refuse to be Educated? Where Boko is haram? Where tribalism should give one access to government civil service, CV or no CV.
Not just illiteracy but also gender stereotypes; men are told they have to be strong and never show weakness society promotes violence as well. So it's also a gender issue. Have you ever heard a female politician sent another female politician assassin? Men have a lot to learn still in conflict resolution.

I knew you would get personal; that's another evidence of the indiscipline of Africans. Most Nigerian businesses hire other nationalities to fill top jobs in Nigeria for this same purpose. Africans and Nigerians are too indusciplined.

Over 20 people have been assassinated and scores killed. Assassinations belong to ancient times. It's no longer tenable in the modern world.
