O Holy Night! The stars are brightly shining, It is the night of the dear Saviour's birth. Long lay the world in sin and error pining. Till He appeared and the Spirit felt its worth. A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices, For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn. Fall on your knees! Oh, hear the angel voices! O night divine, the night when Christ was born; O night, O Holy Night , O night divine! O night, O Holy Night , O night divine! Led by the light of faith serenely beaming, With glowing hearts by His cradle we stand. O'er the world a star is sweetly gleaming, Now come the wisemen from out of the Orient land. The King of kings lay thus lowly manger; In all our trials born to be our friends. He knows our need, our weakness is no stranger, Behold your King! Before him lowly bend! Behold your King! Before him lowly bend! Truly He taught us to love one another, His law is love and His gospel is peace. Chains he shall break, for the slave is our brother. And in his name all oppression shall cease. Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we, With all our hearts we praise His holy name. Christ is the Lord! Then ever, ever praise we, His power and glory ever more proclaim! His power and glory ever more proclaim! |

manny4life: 1. The Senate has released her full CV, look at it and post the page where she claimed it.
2. This has been argued a million times, 98% of the time, many ministers and secretaries do not know certain information that has been put about them. Information is like wild fire, bits and bits are lost along the way when transmitted. I have witnessed information on govt websites that were totally FALSE. So I cannot hold her responsible for what an over zealous webmaster does with the account. Now that she knows an incorrect info is out there, she'll take steps to correct it and make sure such things don't happen again.
3. Midnight efforts? Lol, I can see you're working for the Office of the Chief Information Officer to know that. It's only on the Aviation Ministry's website (govt website) that has the information. Tell me what other govt info has her bio details on it? Therefore I don't see what efforts you're talking about.
4. Yep, their work is done, like you know she's a public liar, a lot of people will form their opinion. Apparently, the pros against the cons is wayyyy too much. People can see the light now, so shaking on that part.
5. Exactly. When things like this happens, we restructure our process. Now the Senate will have a Bio Investigative Committee. When a candidate goes for confirmation, they will employ due process which involves thorough investigation and background checks. So YES, no more degree shenanigans.
6. I don't care what SR and PT writes, for millions of people like myself, they're not a trustworthy platform so why should I give a hoot about what they gat to say... Please. It's like me watching FAUX News, wtf will I wanna do that? Only Republicans and political extremist watch faux news, so you already know those who listen to SR and PT.. lol. No.6 you don't care what SR or PT writes yet your No.1 is from a Facebook post later published by the same PT that in your own words not a trustworthy platform. your desperate attempts to defend this woman is obvious and well meaning/thinking Nigerians will not buy into it. |

Sincere 9gerian: No surprises. Those are the vituperations of a Tinubu paid online cockroach.
I deal with FACTS, not sentiments or emotional rants.
On this forum, I stand against corruption or corrupt practices. But I also will not join the bandwagon to give a dog a bad name to hang it. I will not join bandits to witch-hunt innocent people because of politics.
Till date, there is NO proven case of corruption against Stella Oduah. Fact!
With regards to the armoured car controvery, here are the facts.
The purchase of 2 armoured cars for the ministry of aviation or any ministry cannot be described as a case of corruption. Fact!
The purchase of armoured vehicles (referred to as security vehicle in the budget) was contained in the 2013 budget. Fact!
The ministry did not spend more than what the NASS appropriated for purchase of vehicles in 2013. Fact!
The vehicles were purchased thru a lease purchase agreement of the ministry with First Bank. Fact!
So if the above are the facts in the matter, why then do some bandits insist Stella Oduah is guilty of corruption or should be killed? The answer is politics, politics and politics. and you insincere Nigerian is a presidential aid |

IYA NGBALI: Stella Oduah’s new bio without a university “Oduah-Ogiemwonyi received her Bachelors and Masters Degree (in Accounting and Business Administration respectively) in the United States,” the new profile said of Mrs. Oduah’s education, without any reference to the university she attended. The Wikipedia page of the minister was also edited and it now has no reference to the university Mrs. Oduah attended. The last edit on the Wikipedia page was done at 14:41 p.m. Nigerian time. All links and reference materials on the Wikipedia page capable of linking the minister to the university that has disowned her have also been deleted. Even the minister’s personal website has been reviewed to remove any reference to St. Paul’s College. While the links leading to Mrs. Oduah’s foundation and photographs remain active, the other principal link, which should lead to her history page, has been deactivated. It’s unclear whether it was being edited at the backend when PREMIUM TIMES visited the site. Mrs. Oduah had in a resume she presented to the Senate as a ministerial nominee in 2011 indicated that she obtained a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from St. Paul’s College Lawrenceville, Virginia, United States. http://premiumtimesng.com/news/152824-aviation-minister-stella-oduah-scrambles-cover-certificate-forgery-scandal.html now I believe Jonathan aides are on nairaland. |

Saintp: I hate seeing these e-fights for pro and opposing camps in this forum. Its nt worth it at all. All these guys they are fighting over are all thieves. I'll prefer an objective analysis instead of this blind support people exhibit here. am not supporting anybody APC or PDP am just saying we don't look for good leaders in this country. We always support the old n popular politicians as if we don't have an option. is dere anything wrong with Nigerians going out in mass to vote for a little known party with a little known candidate with a good manifesto. |
Politics › Re: Jonathan Will Be The Catalyst Of Change In Nigeria by BigBen10: 5:23pm On Jan 06, 2014 |
Saintp: Our major problem in this country is the followers. Maybe because many of us were born into a junk nation, thats why we accept mediocrity from our leaders.
How can a Nigerian in his/her right senses say that any of our politician is performing? Lets be frank to ourselves. None of our leaders both from Federal, states,LG's etc are qualified to be councillors/mayor in a developed nation. What you guys dont realise is that both PDP,APC,ACN,APGA,CPC etc are all thiefs and dont have your interest at heart. The question is wot has/did GEJ,Fashola,Tinunbu,Obj etc done with all the billions they controlled? if they are performing/performed, why is Nigeria still like this?
Too bad that people like Orji and Co have made Fashola and some governors to look like star performers cos our bench mark have become too low that a Governor who Tars a 2km road at inflated cost is hailed as performing. If citizens abroad still keep thier govt on thier toes despite having quality lifes made possible by thier govt, how come some Nigerians are hailing GEJ,fashola etc even campaigning and fighting e-wars among themselves despite non performance? Are we actually benchmarking with the best or mediocres?
Both the presidency and all the State Governors need to bury thier head in shame for the state of this nation. if everybody is a thief oya provide the saint. At least we must have good leaders. |

For your info., one of the greatest achievements is that all through into new year, not building went on flame since fuel was made avalaible. Could you mention any government that has achieved that? What about the abundant farm produce? You will be face to face with the greatest disappointment and shock of your life when GEJ will move past you and your APC. i made some points you didnt make any. I pity you . So no building went up in flames last year you are a serious joker and your sense of reasoning is obviously clouded. Saying anything just to defend your sentiments. |

luvinhubby: What most of us do not understand is that there is a particular group of military officers and powerful civilians that participated in the events that led up to and the civil war itself that believes that Nigeria is a `spoil` of their war and that they will personally chose who governs it at their whims & caprices. People like Obj, Danjuma, Ibb, Jerry Useni, Buhari etc. And GEJ never featured in their strategy. I agree that GEJ has not lived up to expections, neither has any of our past and present leaders, both PDP and APC governors included, but in Goodluck, I see a better opportunity for Nigeria to break free from the imperial shackles of these ungodly kingmakers and over-greedy political leaders. The main reason for Niger delta militancy was not development, but the fact that more oil is been bunkered by the crooked politicians and retired soldiers than what Nigeria officially exports and the owners of this oil are not benefitting from it. The purpose of the fury of the likes of OBJ, El-Rufai, IBB and these politicians is the fact the GEJ re-channeled the source of their crude oil bunkering to Niger Delta militants and is working hand-in-hand with them, hence the open access to free money has been taken away from them and they are fighting to get it back. uhmmmmm. so changing the thief is better than stopping stealing at all. So when the Niger-delta militants now have enough money and power is it not the same thing they will do-try to hold on to the oil and power so of you warped sense of thinking ehn |

Afam4eva: Today, Jonathan has become more bold by the day and it seems to be that he has started making decisions independent of those cabals that put him there. I think this is the first step of moving away from the status quo. We have seen the ramblings in the letter that OBJ wrote Jonathan. We have also heard the likes of IBB, Atiku and other elder statesmen calling for the head of Jonathan. We have also seen people who we thought inherited PDP from their father moving over to the opposition party. I think this calls for celebration because when Satan criticizes someone then that person must be doing something right. Bold Abi duller than ever. He doesnt even know how to answer a question properly. He cant even give details of his work. All he will say is that we are doing something or we a working on it. A man that said ASUU strike is politically motivated. The man is either a dunce or he is not participating actively in the decision taken in his government leaving his aids, advisers and minister to think and forge a path for Nigeria weather good or bad. |
