sholatech: If all these names coming up are through, we might have President as Muslim, Senate President as muslim(Ahmed Lawan) & maybe Speaker House of Reps Muslim(Femi Gbaja).
And so what? How does that affect governance or their ability to govern. Weare our own problem.
Dr. Joe Abah (@DrJoeAbah) Tweeted: Elections are popularity contests. If you are currently in sifia painz, this will help you understand what is happening to you. The 5 stages of grief are: 1. Denial 2. Anger
fiizznation: This clown though. Atiku is viewed as one corrupt fella all over the north and there was no possible way for him to make any good gains in the north. Remove the buhari factor, anybody can still beat atiku in the north because the man is just so unpopular.
He should even thank his stars that his stolen money bought him many electorates in Adamawa state. Once you are tainted with corruption, you are so done in the north because nobody rewards corruption here in the north.
Criminal atiku should try again next time.
Barawo vs Mai Gaskiya. And they though barawo will win
Which votes is he dividing? Even if he successfully gathers 40% here in Sokoto. Where exactly will he consolidate on that? SE? APC has about 2 declared senators already.
SS? PMB might even get 40-45% in Delta and Akwa Ibom.
I swear to my GOD. Atiku is not getting above 1 million marginal votes from any state! That can't be said of Buhari. KANO and KATSINA is bae.
PS : I'm particularly disappointed in SW votes. C'mon y'all. PMB did well for us.
SW always like to form over educated but about half of them are really politically dumb.
Zansu007: In a free and fair contest, the apc can never win as Nigerians have rejected the evil party. What will people say about buhari, that lost election 3 consecutive times and yet came into power without any reform of strengthen the system.
Apc is evil and has taken us back. But we will reject the evil party.
olujastro: The Otoge movement must be giving Saraki daily nightmares in Kwara.
Anyways, February 16 no far again. Without rigging, Buhari will sweep NW and NE except Taraba; win Niger, Kogi and Kwara in the NC; win in the SW; and do very well in Imo, Edo and AkwaIbom. Take that to any bank. 4+4
PerfectlyPerfect: This is a government of thievery. They paid for 12 Super Tucano aircraft at a cost of $496 million! An ancient aircraft used during the world war. $496 million will get us up to 23F-16 fighter jets.
3 billion dollars will change Nigerian Air force into one that every country will recon with.
20 F-15C Eagle (600 million USD) for air support
4 Sukhoi PAK FA ($200 million USD) as 5th-gen stealth fighters. They're still under development. Won't hurt to be the first African country to own one.
30 F-16C Fighting Falcon/Viper (564 million USD): Extremely successful and we can use it as a multi-role fighter
2 E-3 Sentry AWACS (540 million USD): A pity that the so-called giant of Africa has none of these.
2 KC-10 Extender (265 million USD): For aerial refueling of the fighter jets. We can also use it as a cargo plane.
7 MQ-9 Reaper UAVs (118 million USD): Drone warfare is the future of aerial combat. We have a couple of chinese drones but these ones are one of the best.
15 UH-1Y Venom (262 million USD): Multi-role and all purpose choppers. We can use them ground attack, air assault, medevac....name it, this helicopter can do it
5 A-10 Warthogs (95 million USD): Awesome jets for close air support
1 B-1B Bomber (283 million USD): Supersonic bomber. It'll blow enemies into oblivion before they know what hit em
Embraer Lineage 1000 (60 million USD): For VIP transport. It'll have anti-missile counter-measures
We'll still have $13,000,000 left after buying all these. Please we should make the right choice in this incoming election. Vote someone who knows to push this country forward
And you think Nigeria can afford 3billion dollars on just Aircrafts alone. Lol. How much is our entire national budget? Please lets be realistic with our expectations.
Chukwudozzie: A lot of people would be scared that the number of Buhari supporters have increased on Nairaland... but I will show you guys in a bit that it is all false.
Clearfair Sarkki Buhariguy and other numerous accounts that can barely communicate in good English is also controlled by one person too.
Also;
Realityshot passing.shot
They were all created between 2018 and 2019. Just for the sole purpose of election propaganda online. Just in case you want to vote Buhari because you see all these guys supporting Buhari, they will all disappear after 2019 Feb and you will be alone to face your hunger.
Atiku is not the best option, but Buhari will destroy this nation if he wins again.
If you don't perform in your 1st tenure, what will you do in your 2nd?
Good Riddance. Its painful she wasted the time of many youths. How can you declare intention to run just few months to the election. Shows you were never prepared. Go and run for senate or governorship ma. Come back when you win and we see your ability in power. I mean you already your first decision(your VP pick) a bad decision. Lets see what you can do at lower office first.

This is the level of solution providing ideas we want to see from nairaland and Nigerians in General. Not always criticize without providing alternatives/solutions. Welldone.
A former aviation minster is nobody? But you rather give lauretta, ogundamisi, joe igbokwe voice...
Stop being hypocritical..
The guy only seeks to serve himself wether through PDP or APC.
He is never in for the good of Nigerians. Go check his past records.
Its not about party politics but this guy in particular has proven not to have good of Nigerians in mind. He only speaks to serve himself as such I wish his voice is not heard. He is only a distraction to Nigerians.
Unfortunately they have deployed all strategies to make it difficult for us to be united. We have been divided along ethnic, religious and even regional lines. So sad
Its not them that divided us. We divided ourselves along those lines. They are just playing on it.
Wailers will always wail, if they don't wail, they will have malaria at the end of the day, so it's understandable!
Some people ask; where are the President's achievements? Well, if they are of such mindset, unfortunately they can't be helped. We don't have the authority to mix spittle with clay, put on their eyes, and direct them to go to Siloam pool, wash, and come back seeing. Once anybody decides to be willfully blind, no matter what you push in front of his eyes, he wouldn't see. If he decides to be willfully deaf, even if there are thunder strikes by his ears, he won't hear!
GOD BLESS OUR PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI
END OF DISCUSSION!! See ya Nairaland!
Yep. To summarise. You can wake a man who is asleep but you cannot wake a man who is pretending to sleep.
Richdad50: As much as i want to mock Jonathan for his failure regarding Otuoke, my heart tells me his love for the country overode his wish to imediately help his people while in power. A geeat Leader is not one who is sectional and nepotic but one who can lay down his region for the sake of all. Flood may overun Otuoke for now but the legacy of Jonathan as a de-tribalized Man will overun the entire legacy of Buhari's Governance. #RichdadDarts
OMG! You actually believe what you just wrote. Nigeria deserve its leaders and sufferings alike. You guys are just a bunch of people looking to satisfy your sentiments. Continue! We will all dey alright las las
life2017: Foreign countries loves Buhari Anti corruption stands. Foreign countries monitor corrupt money leaving Nigeria.
They support Buhari because they can see the drastic decline in offshore accounts controlled by politicians. For foreign countries, they don't differentiate corrupt Nigerians on the basis of APC/PDP. For them, corrupt Nigerians are being prosecuted. That is perfect for them.
While Nigerians are saying Buhari corruption fight is not working, the most developed countries in the world that actually monitor the flow of corrupt funds are all saying Buhari is doing a good job on Corruption. US President Donald Trump acknowledged it. Former US Ambassador to Nigeria aknowledge it. Former UK prime minister Cameron acknowledged it. What more evidence do we need to believe that the anti corruption of Buhari is working. Though it is slow with some perceived selectivity, but it is moving forward.
Or are we saying except corruption is reduced to zero completely that is only when we will agree Buhari is working? That is too much expectation to expect even in 20years for a country like Nigeria with structural corruption according to former US ambassador to Nigeria !!!
Buhari have some areas he is underperforming. But the most stupid and foolish thing Nigerians can do is to elect Atiku, a known kleptomania and crook to the office of the president. It is like an open invitation of Arm robbers to your safe.
I keep hearing Atiku is a business man. Which business did atiku do that have helped Nigeria manufacturing, which is the fundamental problem of Nigeria?
Atiku businesses are mostly rent seeking easy businesses which take advantage of closeness to power to enrich himself!
People keep saying how Atiku owns Intels. Atiku does not own Intels. Intels belong to an Italian business man. Atiku only used his political influence to own shares in Intels for his political cover for intels abuse of Nigeria system.
Some argue Buhari has no company or business. Obama has no company. Theresa May prime minister of UK has no company. Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton has no businesses. Etc. Actually most leaders of advanced countries are public servants who never own a private business. President Donald Trump is among few excemptions
Others argue the anti corruption is selective. It is true it is relatively selective. Buhari has no choice than to be selective. The whole political class in Nigeria are corrupts. Can he fight them all at once? Who then will he work with? How will he be able to govern fighting all the powerful political class at once? It is only a matter of native wisdom to chose your battle. Work with some and prosecute some. That is the only way you can fight corruption in Nigeria which is endemic.
United State of America apply the same selectivity in thier corruption fight. They give some corrupt people immunity in other to get evidence on others who are corrupt. As we can see in the case of Paul Manofort and Rick gates.
You are full of sense. This is how every pragmatic Nigeria should reason but most of our youths are very dull. Stay blessed.
blujoi: Before ye diggers spread this falsehood, watch the video clip. Stop the smear campaign!!!
Peter didn't say he does not have a property or properties outside the country. He said he doesn't have any house in Nigeria outside Onitsha. For those who don't have data to watch it, this is what he said and I quote.
"Having being governor of Anambra for eight years, I cannot live outside Anambra state, never. The only place where I have a house officially built is in Onitsha. If you see any house anywhere in Lagos, Abuja belonging to peter Obi, Confiscate it" ......PETER OBI the Platform 2017
Asides he bought the house before he became the governor of Anambra state
The Yoruba person on the ballot is Osinbajo show where he has ever insulted anyone
Peter Obi is on the ballot and he will come and campaign to the same Amala and Ewedu people for votes
Southeast vote Atiku-Obi, Southwest will vote Buhari osinbajo
After the election we go know who get the power
I wish the above bolded was completely true but alot SWesterners don't understand the real battle that is going on and are being swayed by sentiments from the other side.
Its been a while since we heard of any herds men killings. Could it be that our Armed Forces have successfully eradicated them or the Politicians sponsoring them them are morr focused on the 2019 elections?
Anyway, its a good thing the killings have stopped. Although I believe they were either fractions of the dismantled Boko Haram or Thugs sponsored by Politicians.
Nigerians are always urging good people to resign at the first sign of adversity. How will progress ever be made?
You're right. Many Nigerians are idiots. They can't think. They don't have insight. My hope for this country is in the people but when even the highly educated ones talk this way. My hope dwiddles.
ShobayoEmma: The only 'saint' in the evil party called apc. I have a dream that 2019 will be a year of power to the masses. Buhari, a good man with bad intentions.
