Christianity EtcRe: What Are The Repercussion Of Staying Away From Church For Months? by BigBen10: 12:45pm On Feb 22, 2015
danielmichael:
I have been staying away from church for somewhile now and i think its almost 5 months now since my last time in church and i have been so normal and good.nothing is wrong with me.feeling better.the problem is that there is no spirit for church and i can stay like this for years.
God has been so faithful to me.

So please i wana know if they will be effect of this in a longrun!!

Cool comments pls
Op sometimes the devil allow us to live a good and comfortable life without stress but be warned. it is like a very comfortable prison in which the doors are open. you can walkout anytime but you keep enjoying the pleasures of the prison room. when the time to return to the father has come( a day you do not know) the prison door will be shut closed never to be open again.

Go to church and renew your spirit. Am a Catholic and Sunday mass is a holyday of obligation. Its from there I renew my strength. its from there my faith is sharpened by other faithfuls. no man's an island. no mans knows all. you may never grow beyond a certain point in spirituality if you keep to yourself. Go to church it doesn't cost you much.

PoliticsRe: GEJ And The Corruption Mantra: Is He Corrupt Or Just Misunderstood? by BigBen10: 1:38am On Jan 11, 2015
The truth the clueless one and his friends honestly believe in a corrupt Nigeria. They believe in a share the money type of government. If you look beyond GEJ previous statements and into his past, you will discover he truly believes in being corrupt. It was with the same boldness obasanjo showed his being corrupt to all of us.

These men are not alone. There supporters believe in a "share the money type of government". therefore we( the sane part of Nigeria) must rise up and wrestle power from these idiots OBJ put to lord over us.

Christianity EtcRe: Does People's Name Have Any Effect On Their Fate Or Destiny by BigBen10: 9:46am On Dec 21, 2014
I don't think our names have influence on our destiny. our destiny is what we make it to be.

look at a names like Hitler-am sure who ever gave him that name gave it with good intention but almost nobody will ever bear that name again cause of the atrocities he committed.

While names like Einstein and Noble stands for something good and people will continually name their children after them.

PoliticsRe: We Never Booed President Jonathan And Governor Fayose.... OAU Students by BigBen10: 3:30pm On Nov 29, 2014
this mufu called ibikunle aka SUG president. He just a stooge for the management. He couldn't even fight for out school fee increment and now spills trash. Even he was booed and totally ignored yesterday when he came to try to calm us down. not only Jonathan was booed yesterday. fayose was booed too. With chants of Ole! Am a great ife student and it saddens that ibikunle has decided to sell out. Even the police and military could not do anything yesterday as we blocked the path of the president. we sat on the floor. he tried to reroute and we blocked him again.
Just because president is coming the school was in shut down. No buses for transport people were trekking. banks were closed. traders couldn't transport there goods into campus hence no easy snacks to buy. It was frustrating enough apart from the other frustration which the president has impacted on our parents of which we are at the receiveing end with slashed allawee.

make I just stop here. 2015 no far again. we will remove all idiots from government and replace them with sane people. How I wish obasanjo had not imposed thugs on us all(Nigeria) just so he can continue in power. smh its a pathetic situation in this country were touts, fable and less intelligent ones rule over the sane snd smsrt ones.
we will get there by fire or by force. running or crawling.

Nice thread. I met a girl I really loved. She ain that preatty but I loved her so much my friends thought I was crazy. We became close and she gave me so many green lights after asking her out she said she had no feelings for me. I was shocked that night I stopped chatting with her. Stopped calling and all that. It wasn't easy but I made a decision to let her go. Then she started chatting to me but I always responded with one word which frustrated her. Few weeks we met and she said what I did(ignoring her) was heartless and she told me she wanted a serious relationship cos she's born again. But the girl didn't mention that before na. Well, now we just friends and we keep in touch once in a blue moon. We zoned each other grin ........ Once I ask a girl out and she says "NO. I walk away. One trial, One answer. That's it for me
same here bro. one trial one answer. if a girl knows what she wants one trial is enough.

FamilyRe: Closing Arguments On Friendzoning And "Nice Guys Finish Last" by BigBen10: 6:22am On Nov 24, 2014
Op you make sense joor especially as regards the nice guys arguments. I am one of such nice guys. I have different experience with ladies but never let them take away my diginity or get friendzoned.

There was this girl which I wanted to ask out about a year ago. We started well and we were making headway but I guess I was too dull for her. I invited her one evening with hints of my intention. She refused to come stood me up from 7-10pm. When I Called her she kept saying she's coming and eventually that she is watching film and too lazy to come.
I swallowed the bitter pill and let it go. I tried maintaining contact but nothing changed.

Now a year after reevaluating(the guy she liked then didn't like her back). she starts texting me that "I did not even say anything again". I laugh. I guess her fast and furious guys has dulled her. she Now hugs me whenever she sees me. issokay.

I made several attempts at getting close to other ladies but they were not forthcoming. But suddenly a good number of them are starting to rethink me . Its now my trurn to pick and choose who is too "hyper" for me.

so the nice guys out there just chill take your time don't bend your moral nature. Yes you may not have the so called beautiful babes but there is that one beautiful girl who fancies you and your "dullness".

People with exceptional intelligence are not always attractive why? huh
because they spend more time on taking care of the brain and less time bodily appearance.

Also the attractive ones are usually very distracted from reading simply because they attract.
PoliticsRe: I Don’t Know My Political Future – Fashola by BigBen10: 8:54am On Nov 11, 2014
bushdoc9919:
But of course.

In an industrial society....government relies on the taxes from the people and from the companies that work within its territory. Thus, it is in the interest that everything works....or else...the industries will run away, the people won't have jobs. and the tax revenues will go down, and that will lead to a govt unable to do anything.(At which point it gets thrown out.)

In a resource dependent society, government is not reliant on the taxes of the people and the industries within its territory...because it really does not depend on their taxes....so industry founders, and jobs get lost. Also, in the name of development projects, millions of naira or pounds or dollars or whatever are spent on projects for which materiel has to be imported....also since we do not have industries...we have to import. Meaning existing industries get stifled....and we lose a lot of jobs...leading to large youth unemployment and a loss of value in education.

Important to our discussion is the corruption aspect. And the tribe. Under a resource dependent economy, government exists to distribute the resources from the sale of oil, which in theory means that such money would be used for development...in practice...it is spent unwisely...because, as we know the money cannot run out.. Subsequently....the closer you are to the seat of power, the more of the money you get. That is why we have the reckless manipulation of religion and tribe in Nigeria. It is all about who gets the oil. And combined with the high youth unemployment and underemployment that the country faces....we have the ingredients for a big explosion.

I daresay your Fashola would be a good leader...however, like most Nigerian politicians, he is an oil dependent leader. He is good in the sense that he appears to distribute the oil money better than others. Otherwise....in terms of industrial development, educational development, self sufficiency and so on....Fashola is a poor leader. He has not been able to say, after 8 years , that Lagos has been developed to a state of complete financial independence from Abuja's oil money. He cannot say how many new industries have relocated to Lagos....industries that use the raw materials in Nigeria BTW....he cannot say if the education system is innovative or is producing innovators. And that is my problem with Nigeria's leaders....both opposition and in power. They are acting as distributors of oil money.....and their people expect them to distribute the oil money well well. Well, that is not what they are supposed to do. God, in his infinite wisdom gave us oil....as the direct and indirect catalyst of our development into a strong and self sufficient nation. But now, nearly 70 years since Oloibiri.....we have as a result of our dependence on oil, become a weak and seriously vulnerable nation. We have become, in short, a nation of resource addicts. And like most addicts, we need higher amounts of the drug for our fix. But the drug is running out...and pretty soon we may have to face life without it.

Nigeria's leaders and people can make our nation great.....and the road to greatness starts by our ending the idea of government as a distributor of good and wonderful oil cakes.

Oil is a curse.
even with lagos IGR you still say he is oil dependent leader?
I think ur analysis is abit flawed.

I walk face down alot so I start my analysis from the feet of the girl. I can easily tell if she is parko or buty or bleaching from the feet. Don't ask me how its my trade secret. then I move up to Check for yam legs or toothpick legs or bow legs as the case may be. slightly bow legged gals are super sexy. then I look up a bit to quantize the nash but I make no conclusions till I see the back and boobs. The nash and breasts must compliment each other. There must be balance. no one out weighing the other. each big enough in proportion to the other. not saying they must be equal on size. up next is the neck and face. Now a beautiful face to compliment a sizable breast matching a quantiful nash with curvy slightly bow legs is my perfect girl body. This is what I look at first in a girl.
