emeernest: Don't confuse yourself. The car has max speed of 50mph. The same car takes 6secs to reach 62mph. That is contradiction & incorrect - simple. I think you should seek better understanding of the subject. Its no contradiction. You would know that 0 - 60 in Bleep secs is a common way of describing cars acceleration if familiar with cars. I just broke down the physics to clarify it better but if you refuse to understand I cant help you. |
Car Talk › Re: Kalashnikov AK-47 Maker To Fight Tesla With This 1970s-styled Electric Supercar by BigBen10: 8:22am On Aug 27, 2018 |
ClickSis: I guess I need to be tutored here. How can the acceleration of a car be higher than its maximum speed? The acceleration is not greater. In fact they are different quantities. m/s for speed and m/s square for acceleration. 50mph => 22.352m/s 62mph => 27.7165m/s 62mph in 6 secs => 27.7165m/s / 6s = 4.62m/s square |

[quote author= post=69867279]He has finished his two thirds permutation at last. This is the beginning of the end for him.The worst senate President in the history of the nation. Without Dr Olusola Saraki, I don’t think we would be seeing Bukola Saraki. But we all saw what he did to his father in Kwara because of personal ambition. (That is for those that know about Naija politics, not the kids ranting online!) So, Saraki, as far as I am concerned, has no respect for any constitutional arrangement. He defected into a party and became the Senate President and he is complaining that he didn’t gain. Nigerians must learn to look at these people and see them for who they are..... sane Nigerians that is! Wole Soyinka: IT IS ONLY IN NIGERIA THAT YOU WILL SEE CORRUPT POLITICIANS RE-GROUPING AGAIN TO RE-LOOT, AND YOU SEE THE YOUTHS, WHOSE FUTURE WILL BE STOLEN CELEBRATING!

Yaya is the stupid one here. He had every opportunity to leave the club once he heard Pep will be the new manager after his experience in Barcelona. He knew what pep will do yet he stayed. Many clubs would have loved a player like yaya but he decided to sacrifice that cause of money or uk comfort. Same thing as Mikel he could have left the club on Mourinho second coming but no he stayed and chopped bench because of money; killing his potentially more blissful career. |

Oche211: My friend, keep quiet if u re ignorant of real issues. I watched the talk show this morning on AIT "focus Nigeria". He said the incident happened abt 2-3 years ago. That was abt a month into his tenure. He had abolished the sales of jamb scratch card immediately he assumed office nd had asked for audits of all jamb accounts in all the states of the federation during the says of scratch cards b4 he assumed office. He say there were even more ridiculous claims than the snake own. He said those involved had been dismissed and dealt with. Furthermore, before he assumed office, jamb was remitting about 10 million naira to the Federation account. Infact, before he came, jamb remitted only about 52 million or so in 5 years. However, under his leadership, Jamb remitted abt 7.8 BILLION naira in one (1) year. So the video wasn't recent, it was an old probe. He also said he was disappointed that such case of national importance could become a thing of joke nd comedy to Nigerians. He said he didn't see anything funny in that cos it's a very sensitive issues. Bloggers won't give you the full gist. The show was a really eye opener. It's from him i got to knw jamb on top of the game in examination malpractice. The show was just too awesome nd the prof was amazing. He's got my utmost respect. You have spoken well. Nairaland just wears one out with vast amount of ignorance and loose talk displayed in it comments. It feels good to see we are all not shallow and unguided. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Is Sex With Sex Doll A Sin? by BigBen10: 8:10am On Jan 21, 2018 |
My church teaches that any sexual activity that makes you waste sperm is a sin in that sperm has the potential for life and life is sacred. Just like how aborting a fetus is considered a sin because you have killed a potential life. It is a waste of resource. So sexing with a doll will make you 'kill sperm' which is potential life. God is against waste of anything talk less life. |

BedLam: We sure love numbers in this country. Numbers without practical results. It's in our DNA. Who cares if you generate 4 billion dollars ? If you can't account for it or do anything meaningful with it, it's useless! Did you know that a few years ago. We were a country without numbers. No data just guessing. How can/did we plan with that? We should learn to see our success, recognize our progress and push forward not blanket every news item as rubbish. |

Or is there any other chair in the pic that I didn't See OK. Lemme tell u my thought process. Dino represents my constituency and so hv to voice oit when i dont think he is repping well. am not vexed at Dino for this act only. It is his collective actions that shows his total submission to Saraki that annoys me. Fine you join Saraki to commit a kinda coup in the senate. It should stop there but no for Dino he has to escort Saraki wife to EFCC like a common driver then immediately Saraki jeep was seized by customs you hear Dino raising his voice. Then this again. Just annoys me that my rep is falling my hand. I understand loyalty and what not in politics but he wasn't the only one that join Saraki to commit the coup. He should give himself some self respect. Shey you get. |

see the disgrace of a senator(dino) seating at the feet of his gods. You wonder if he isnt a senator just like saraki. No dignity no self respect no honour. Saraki be using him to clean nyash. Ndume should sit his arse down! Is it because the compromised DSS did not launch a formal investigation against him? If the Presidency had been alive to its duties, Magu would have been screened by the Senate immediately he was nominated and we wouldn't have had this drama. all the allegations against magu is it not during his time as acting head of EFCC that it is coming out? |
