NewNigeriaMind: I honestly don't think both of them should be out of the country at the same time.
He may then decide to join is president in the world economic forum after south Africa which means we are looking at a week without both in Nigeria.
I hope they know what they are doing I think you guys are getting unnecessary too worried and impatient. It may not look like it but Buhari is tackling the most important issue of all which is SECURITY. To make right decisions he has to know what is on ground first. He wouldnt want to dable into issues without knowing the true picture of things with first hand information. Hence, things like CORRUPTION fighting and ECONOMIC POLICIES will come later of which he and his VP will still have to go to the process of accessing the situation on ground first before making decisions. PLEASE be patient. step vy step, little by little we will get there. keep calm. focus ur minds on other things while following the news if after 1 month symptoms persists call the doctor |

doctokwus: president and VP travelling out same day with no secretary of govt of d federation yet.I don't know what's happening but issues are out here to be addressed and none has been touched on. Fuel queues are still out there. Yes we know they may not disappear soon, but give us expectant and faithful believers your plans to tackle this. Ministers are travelling up and down,as if they were not d cause of d shit we are in,yet no definite direction on how to fast track and start investigation into the accounts and misdemeanors of this people. For me d VP should have delegated d ambassador to rep Nigeria at summit because people are getting impatient here waiting for our last hope to start implementing those policies we voted for. Modified: 100k is small to start a business IMO. House rent, salary, business materials, etc. Definitely not enough. If the money were more, I would have suggested that you start a photocopying business (especially if you stay close to a uni) and have a staff (u can always track how many pages are copied).

Nigeria haa not learnt at all.
Untill we realise that we are a poor country with
an underperforming economy we won't move
very fast.
Truth is we have to generate more income both
at federal level and especially at the state level.
how? not by increasing tax but by vigorously
producing products of different kinds and selling
them in order to earn. In other words we have to
do business as a nation or state. until we do that
state will keep having problems paying salaries
when the national income dwindles. |

My wish is for PDP to continue to die gradually while the likes of LP, KOWA, SDP and other smaller parties come together and form an opposition to the APC.
That way the quality of our opposition will have improved greatly. All for a better naija. |
Politics › Re: Why Is Cnn Not Reporting Nigeria's Election? by BigBen10: 10:01pm On Mar 29, 2015 |
because we are not yet worth reporting on. we as a tr largest black nation has not positioned ourselves well. We have not shown we are a strong formidable force to reckon with. Economic wise we have not developed. Defence wise not developed. We have not shown our potential to control/influence other West African countries. Bottom line there is nothing to gain. No american interest. thats why the US President rather visit Ghana but then send the secretary of state to Nigeria.
We have to wakeup to stop collecting these insults.

Coming up next....the Opposition is behind the poor light supply...we bring you the pictures of Tinubu cutting off the gas supply...
The opposition is behind the slow speed of our trains....we bring you the pics of Buhari putting juju on the rail track.
The opposition is behind Nigeria's failure to win the African U17 championship....we bring you proof that Buhari put something into the food of our gallant players.....
Meanwhile...here is the reason for the scarcity....

Politics › Re: APC Carpets Jonathan Over Boko Haram, Hails Military by BigBen10: 11:26pm On Feb 24, 2015 |
agabusta: Lai Mohammed is talking facts here. I am very sure if an independent panel of enquiry is asked to look into this Boko Haram issue, they will definitely indict President Jonathan. How come the military could not curtail Boko Haram until elections are here before they suddenly woke up?
I must commend the military anyways for their recent victories, because they are the ones doing the dying and fighting but I still maintain as I have been saying that it seems the military was purposely on a systematic stand down until now.
They have always maintaned a defensive fighting strategy which even people without a military background saw was a mistake. They usually wait for BH to attack before fighting back. They usually wait for Boko Haram to take towns before going back to attempt to retake them. They refused to go on the offensive for the past 4 years.
It is now that elections are around the corner that they saw the need to go offensive in the BH war. This seems fishy, but anyways, I am happy they are giving the Boko Haram the death and misery they deserve. God bless you brother. I have always said it. we can't fight BH on the defencive. we have to be on the offensive. constantly fishing them out and killing the bagas none stop thats how to win this war. I don't know why they preferred the defencive way. like you said something is fishy. Take for example America they never allow any body to bring the war to their land because they understand the implications. They take the war to them. Something fishy is going on with the army. |
