Indeed grace @ work. The grace that located me will also locate other applicant too. Congrats. Less than 8 working days is marvelous. Low travel season, maybe. Or maybe they are more efficient at the moment. |

How can I explain the source of funds in my salary account..?? because I have a lot of huge amount of money deposited in my account.. what should I do One option is to tell the truth. You would know the source. An extra thing to do is to remove the moneys from your salary account, such that it is clear that the balance you will submit had been saved up from your salary. |

thelaw5050: Hello guy, please I need your advice.
I am 26yrs and married, we have a baby girl and we expecting another by July. I work as a manger in my dads company, what are my chances of getting d b1/b2 visa plus my parents too are coming with me. We also going to do business.
Please what are my chances or any advice on what to do and what not to do Thanks Read the thread. No one can say exactly about your chances. You may have perfect circumstances and not speak clearly at the interview, etc. Reading the thread will give you the opportunity to assess your preparedness and also to know what to do (not). That said, if you do not have good travel history (together) and your business is not compulsorily US tied, now may not the best time. |

She's worried because her application processing time is not up to the stipulated time of 15days. Has anyone receive email pick up within 9days? It means the ECO found it very easy to reach a decision. Or other circumstances like maybe a shorter queue of applications for the particular ECO at that time. 15 days is indicative. Has she picked her passport now? |

Not sure, but I would suppose the day number 1 is the next working day after the biometrics. In any case, 15 working days is a guide for their best efforts; they regularly deliver earlier and later. |

winzy: Good day all... i will be travelling soon to the UK, Egyptair and Etihad are the airlines on my mind.... sooo, i wanna get reviews or advice on the best airline to follow based on:
1. Layover, is anyone gonna lodge the flyer in a hotel or you wait in the lounge or something? Depends on the ticket and the length of the layover. Egypt is known to regularly provide hotel for long layovers, Etihad used to have a package for layovers though I can't recall if it was free. In any case, you need to find out from the airline or whoever is booking your ticket. Best to book options with short layovers, so the need for hotel or long wait in the airport does not apply. Cairo's airport is bigger and has more options of things to do/see than Abu Dhabi.
2. Inflight entertainment, which one gives better food and entertainments like drinks, cable sockets, screen for movies? Etihad for inflight screen time. Also Egypt does not serve anything with alcohol. Airplane food can never compare with your food at home.
3. Comfortability, which one has better leg space as am pretty tall? Try to get an exit row seat, either when you book, or at the airport at checkin. Some airlines sell those seats. Else, leg space is pretty much similar for Economy tickets. Getting a Business Class ticket solves this.
4. Baggage allowance, you know what i mean ba? Again, this depends on the ticket you buy. Even in Economy, there are different tickets. Etihad offers 50kg weight concept ticket. Egypt offers 1 or 2 * 23kg piece concept. Depending on the class, you can get many other options. Check with your ticketing office, or read the small print if booking directly online.
5. Other necessary reviews or comment not listed here. People have praised Emirates and Qatar. Since you are willing to route your trip via the middle east, you can consider them also, as they over better services/facilities on all counts than the two you mentioned.
please... thank you Comments inserted above. |

Hi all, Greetings to moderators, gurus, posters and silent readers. It has been a while and I am still reading up, but I have a question that may/not have been answered in the past. The last item in the document checklist for standard visitor visa is "Additional Information. Evidence of family members remaining in your home country whilst you travel" The question is bursting my brain. If marriage certificate or birth certificate, these do not prove that the family member is remaining in home country. In fact, I am wondering what evidence this is "POE stamp of the person entering Nigeria?" That does not prove that the person has not left immediately afterwards. Do they want a webcam link of the family members in their house, or a gps tracking to localize them family members?
Anyway, up to the gurus and contributors.... Let me go and continue reading.
Another quick question. If you choose self-care for uploading/submission: do the documents need to be scanned to JPG, or will PDF format suffice?
Thanks.

I think Panama accepts UK and Schengen visas, but that thot was from two years ago when I googled it. You can use google to check visa requirements for both countries. All the best. |

You should be searching for the thread on visas with work permits or educational visa. And perhaps details/application should originate from your boss in the US. Keep searching for the right thread/info. All the best. |

MadameW: Hello everyone, please now that I’ve gotten my visa does my husband need to write a consent letter to enable me travel with our son? If yes, pls who will the letter be addressed to? Thanks in advance I guess this may depend on the age of your son. Perhaps best you contact the airline. If you have a different surname, take his birth certificate and copy of his dad's ID with you. (Just a suggestion). Another option is for his dad to accompany to the airport; then he can provide any letter, if need b. For unrelated minors, you would have needed to submit consent letters from both parents and parents IDs to NAPTIP office, then take the reply from NAPTIP to Immigration office at the airport, with letters to the (Deputy) Comptroller to NIS, at the airport of departure. (Best done at least a week in advance). Or follow the easier route of letting the parents subscribe to the "unaccompanied minor" service from the airline. |

Shaftcraft: Hello House, being following this trend from Part 3 and it has been informative. Pls house help . Here’s my story
2yrs ago I applied to attend a conference but I was denied cuz in the blue paper it stated that I wasn’t able to demonstrate to the VO. also I noticed that my interview date was rescheduled two days to the start of the conference. The VO said I’ll be missing the conference even tho she approve me the visa she then advice to try again this happened when I was single and working as a computer programmer for a firm. Although I have my personal biz which I didn’t include in my previous application and I have stop working at the previous job. I have a poultry(my current job) MD (registration already with CAC)but i didn’t register it all this while cuz I have been growing gradually until now. I am married with a child under 4month. I’m planning to go on my next vacation with my family this Christmas ..
My question are .
Do I need to use my previous email or just a different one entirely to avoid my previous profile?
What are my chances with my child still an infant? 4months old
Will this not make the VO think I’m migrating my family and the child too young?
On the other hand ... what if I apply alone without my family ? Will one of my tie be my wife and kid and business?
I run two businesses and I earn within 4-5hundred monthly Also I’m a first time traveler .. tour to neighboring country by road for business
Pls what are my chances? What’s your good advice ? Thanks to everyone taking part in these post . Vacation right? Your circumstances have changed since your last refusal. But also, from the trends you read here (e.g. the Canada border issue), you can perceive that the conditions to qualify are more stringently applied. ... Take the family with you, and it may seem as if you are all running away; leave them behind and you appear heartless ... I would suggest you consider better the many other ties you may have, and weigh those in the balance. If they look good, all the best. If they look below par ... (it's vacation right) I suggest you find other equally enjoyable vacation destinations with less hassles. All that said, you can give it a try: if they don't welcome you, then you can channel same funds (less NIV fees) to a vacation elsewhere with your wife and kid. |

KD247: Hello guys! I have read couples of pages on this thread but please, I need a quick response because I want to process my family vacation without the help of any Agent. 1. My appointment is for 1:30pm on a day in Sept. However, I have not being seeing afternoon appointments here. Is this advantageous? 2. How do I make flight booking? Could this be done for free? Thank you all. 1. I have no idea. Maybe the queues are less, maybe more. All the best. 2. Yes. It can be done for free, or for a fee. Most airlines allow you to make reservations for free online (though they cancel it within 48/72 hours). Some airlines allow you to keep the reservation for a little longer for a fee. You can also visit the airline office to make the reservation, in which case the ticketing agent will tell you how long the reservation will hold, before it is cancelled. (Of course, you can't buy a flight ticket for free). |
