However you can't use that space to honour your mum and still desecrate the space with your "who cares" statement on a convention that is about to birth events that will shape your life for at least the next four years. The lousy first paragraph is not logically going with solemn call of honour for your mum's departure in the second paragraph. I can only hope you're smart enough to get the drift. |

What it means by grateful is you being helped by someone and you wholeheartedly go back to say “Thank you”.
So that thank you in your own mind now will be to support him as a President even when you yourself identified the reality of health on the incumbent President. Where is the ordinary Nigerian in all this graph that you people are plotting like this? Can we survive another round of old age induced health challenge? No one can gainsay the reality of Tinubu's contribution to this 4th republic but hasn't the republic also rewarded him enough, than for the ordinary Nigerians to be bothered that they all in the political class are frustrating themselves? callme9mm: Absolutely. I love Tinubu over and over again. If not that Buhari is an ungrateful person, we all saw how Tinubu backed him up that year. Buhari owe him lots and lots of supports. Tinubu isn’t seeking approval from Buhari, he just needs his support one way or the other to show signs of being grateful, but maybe the political chess Tinubu tried to play isn’t going to work out as expected by him. He needs someone from the very top to give support. He might have to start all over again from the grassroots, and show to the world that he’s the Jagaban. He might not be that powerful anymore, cos 8 years is a long year that Buhari have wasted. But I’m pretty sure Tinubu might decide to show Nigerians and the World who he really is, or He might just decide to backdown.
If Buhari have forgotten what happened in 2015, how Tinubu showed him max support, He should be reminded. Buhari gained Yoruba peoples’ vote cos of Tinubu.
What it means by grateful is you being helped by someone and you wholeheartedly go back to say “Thank you”.
I wouldn’t blame Buhari though, drugs he must have been given from his often visits to doctors in the UK might have cleansed part of his memories. Making people to see him as heartless. He might have lost memories.
Why would the president of a country go to another country to seek medical attention ? . You shouldn’t forget that he will be put to sleep before operation begins. And the doctors have full access to all parts of his body as soon as he’s asleep. (A whole president of a country in the hands of another country’s doctors).
Don’t forget that these countries are medically advanced. They can inject you, and you’ll react to whatever they inject you with. They can choose to inject you to lose memories, to fall asleep, to die slowly, etc.
They might even place a tracker on Buhari (president of the country) and 200million Nigerians wouldn’t know.
They might even decide to rule us via Buhari. How about that. .
I wouldn’t blame Buhari, Tinubu should just focus and move on with his Presidential campaign cos Buhari is long gone and he might not be able to regain his senses back.
This life is a lesson. |

BoltAndUberAbj: It is the same price template of 2016 bolt/Uber are still using in 2022. Almost 6 years with same price. Despite the insane inflation in this country. Even the price of fuel in 2016 is not the same in 2022.
Infact they increased their own commission/salary from 5-10% to a whooping 25%! But the drivers who toil day and night are still collecting the same 300 naira of 2016. It is well with you bro. I understand your plight but don't you think it's better to be talking more of these guys reducing their commission? This fight looks like you guys are fighting the masses, and trust me, you may not have the public sympathy that you deserve. I want to order Bolt for a penny if possible. Politics › Re: Falana: Why Ngige, Other Ministers Can’t Withdraw Resignation by bigeagleeye(m): 5:26pm On May 14, 2022 |
Rupertek: But the 2 ministers never resigned at anytime. There was no single report anywhere that they resigned. If there is, post it, let's see. The legal luminary just jumped the gun. Falana was not singling Ngige out in his simple expression of the position of the law.. he's simply saying if anyone has resigned, and has been sent off, he or she can't be reabsorbed without legislation. So whereas Falana may not have copies of their letters, his position is protected in evidence law with the purported valediction session organized for the resignees which was carried by news houses. So like I said before, if there's anyone who jumped the gun, it is the Cabinet services desk which is most likely, SGF and by extension, the President himself! |
Politics › Re: Falana: Why Ngige, Other Ministers Can’t Withdraw Resignation by bigeagleeye(m): 4:44pm On May 14, 2022 |
nationalnwa: Oga Lawyer what if the receiver of the resignation letters didn't accept the letter and he has not accented to have received and officially sign that resignation letter has been received, What's is your next case agenda Will such receiver who has rejected or planning to reject your resignation organize valedictory meeting in your honour? What the legal luminary is pointing out is to the extent, as alluded by the Minister for Information, that there was a valedictory session of FEC held in honour of the 10 outgoing ministers for which 9 of them except the junior Education Minister were present. And his point which is not ambiguous is that if the official spokesman of the government said there was a valedictory session, it will simply mean all other administrative procedures for resignation has been concluded! So I beg to say the scenario that you painted here is valid but does not suffice in this very instance. https://dailytrust.com/breaking-buhari-bids-farewell-to-10-ministers-promises-to-replace-them-soonThis evidence should only say one thing; there's no coherence in leadership; someone (maybe SGF) rushed to organize farewell session and the President doesn't have time to ask relevant questions as to why, since/when he's not accepted the affected ministers' resignation! |

vacanci: Why am I having this feeling that both you and falana are as dumb as Buhari.
Does a FEC meeting shows that Ngige and Malami resigned? How dumb can a kid be. Meanwhile old are you sef All other ministers that resigned published their letters. Malami's resignation will make the most headline of all resignations because of the power he has wielded to himself in this ungodly administration.
Make u dey think well na. Attention seeker with blocked head; the subject matter is valedictory not FEC meeting, and the question is, if there was one, what for? My question that is too hard for sized mind is, do they do valedictory meeting/get together or whatever for people whose exit has not been duly confirmed?! I can't help but notice your charlatanry. And just so you know, everyone as old as I am that you know would have flogged this foolery out of your head if close by. |

Long talk with zero logic..he should show you their resignation letters before taking a position with the law? How more dumb can the expectations of some young people's minds be? In the last 7yrs of the administration, or even the administrations before..how many times have they organized valedictory sessions in FEC for the sake of doing movies or cracking ribs? Since you'll need your PA that you appointed in charge of Cabinet Services to deliver resignation letters to your doorstep before you use your God given capacity to reason. unite4real: He talks as if he is only learned. As if we are not aware that they never resigned their appointment. Also they never submitted forms to contest presidency.
At least the article should show us their respective resignation letters.
As a lawyer, he should not behave like an opposition party for say things to feed their narratives.

DIKEnaWAR: Femi Falana talks most times as if he is the law and only legal authority in the world. Did Malami and Ngige write resignation letters?
If they have not returned their nomination forms, fully filled and signed, then they cannot be said to be contesting for the office and if they didn't send a resignation letter to the President, they have not resigned.
I no send them or this govt, but the law is the law. What have you said differently from what he said now? How reasonable is your thinking that there's direct correlation between filling form blablabla and resigning? If they had a farewell (valedictory) FEC meeting with/for them, do you need a prophet to know they resigned? I'm concerned with your unnecessary affront on the stand of the learned person, a stand which you turned around to corroborate! I don't know why you have problem with him taking a stand on sensitive national issues as if you have personal scores to settle with him. If he didn't talk, your likes will still say where are the senior lawyers in the land. You guys are just confused! |

The solidarity by the remaining SW Governors on the drama that played out should have been better tailored instead of allowing the AGF look like one sound mind. None of the people involved is beyond their reach.
