The cbp knew in ur 2weeks vacation, you'll visit d Hospital and u'll end up needing rest... That's why he intentionally reduced ur stay to 1 month so that after ur 2 Weeks or so, u will rest an extra 2 Weeks, rest on d plane back to Naija and continue the rest at home on ur bed......
But anyway good luck and keep us posted |

It's never easy staying with someone I tell you. Never ever easy. Even here in Naija not to talk of where everything is paid for. My sincere advise is go to places like Texas where you pay less then use the remaining money off your budget in delivering in expensive places to get yourself a decent apartment. There nothing like your space especially for women that a territorial (apologies if anyone is offended). Tobermom, I don't envy your situation. Please the reason you have travelled is to give birth healthily and get a better chance and opportunity for your child. It is imperative that you eat well and stay healthy. If you can afford it, kindly walk away from there. show appreciation before you leave. Let them know how grateful you are for taking you in. You mind and health is very important right now to your LO. Close your eyes and bounce. Visit when you can too if they are close to you. But right now, you need your space and a TREAT to a good meal. Stay blessed |

MMC is a very funny hospital. They are so quick to mention Medicaid. Whilst researching them, the forms they sent to me boldly reads in case of any emergency, Medicaid will be activated. I just 'unlook'. My two cents is this 1) Meet with their financial manager for a negotiation chat. Negotiate well and make sure your pay more than 50% of the initial sum. Read that some where here 2) let them know if they can't give you more than a 6 months payment plan, they would be creating an herculean task for you which you doubt might be overcome. State clearly you are going to pay and won't be taking Medicaid. I sincerely hope you get favir back home to pay up. algfred: @first. Virginal birth after prev. CS for 1st child. thats what madam asked for but dey bluntly insisted on CS., saying dey can't risk doing that from their own experience.
the infection story till now is still amazing to me, well read about it that could be as a result of mother eating some wrong fruit. could also be as a result of streptococci abi na wetin dem call am. see medicine confuses me most times. our argument even from her aunt who is a nurse was that this antibiotics could be administered orally to baby at home and monitored. but see this guys are just after the money they never stopped mentioning Medicaid which I also didn't stop saying no to. its a tough experience in so short a time. |

thanks a lot! zandora: Thanks! You should redo the IELTS, trust me the listening is not that bad. I practiced for the listening via googling IELTS practice websites. I made sure I selected the websites that had the audio for the listening and it really helped. Practiced for 2 days and scored an 8 so believe me, you can also ace it. Goodluck!

you usually pay $500 for doctor Glenn as deposit before they send you their acceptance letter. they will later deduct it from your final balance as it is part of the doctor's fee you are supposed to pay. I am wondering why theirs no much talk about northwest houston medical center. The quotation from them is very fair from my calculation. Congrats firstymum and everyother person with great POE stories. Peaceful2016: Hello everyone, For those who used Dr Glenn Morgan, did you have to pay an initial deposit? In a previous email, they requested for my medical records which i sent. Then i just got an email to call their office to make an initial deposit so that i could get the acceptance letter. Kindly advise |

I think it is easier putting a camel through a needle eye than applying for this Saskatchewan SINP. i just had to close the page at some point! Anyways, do i need to get my bank statement stamped before uploading it for anyone who has done it? i have spent a cummilative of 5 hours on that page today and still havent finished. I was battling with the settlement plan thing when i flipped and closed my laptop. I will just go and write IELTS again than this stress since i have a masters degree. I didnt do so well in the listening part and i figured that is the most important part of that test as it relates to Canada immigration. Zandora, i have directed my friend to the CSE and he has filled the forms. I hope he find a solution to his problem. You guys are doing a nice job. |

Thanks Zand, please what is a CSE? zandora: Unfortunately I believe his profile would have expired because he exceeded the deadline. Since the deadline is calculated using Canadian time and they are 1 day behind, in reality the profile had expired Nigerian time. I would advise him to create another profile ASAP and enter the pool. It's highly likely that your friend would be refunded but in the meantime he should immediately send a CSE. |

hello JesusDway, Solomonwis and other guru's here My friend applied for express entry and got ITA on July 3rd, he got everyother document available but had issues with funds in bank statement which delayed him until the 60 days expired. He logged in on the 61st day and found out that he still had a 1 day window frame in his profile, so he uploaded bank statement then transmitted his application. 5 minutes after transmitting and payment, he ggot a message in his CIC account stating that his profile as expired. the issue now is, payment went through and all documents have been transmitted and he got a confirmation message that his documents have been received before the message came in. we are not sure what the current status of this application is now. could it have gone through or has it expired? his ITA was due on the 15th of September and this whole drama happened on the 16th of September. Is there an email address someone can reach them on to confirm his status? |

So I am here thinking "how hard is it to sue Dr F?". I think someone needs to really drag him through the court room for this attitude or report him to the doctor's professional body. It's clear that he knows he can handle high risk delivery and he clearly knows the hospital is not even equipped to do so, why lead people on? This is very sad! I am sure if your husband or a man were there with you, he wouldn't have even dared to shout at you after collecting your money. I am happy you came out fine and I pray God replenishes your pocket forevermine. Maybe we need to stop referring him to people on this forum. I can't even imagine someone putting my wife through such. We will enter the same trouser men! |

I'm not in a position to judge you, so I'm just going to skip that part and concentrate on your questions.
Many people have asked if this lady has any other ties, but you didn't respond. Are you the only thing/person she lives for tie she has? No job, no school? This will be a huge contributory factor towards her visa issuance. Lumping a huge sum into her account will be very detrimental.
Please, the last thing you want is to appear to be married or engaged to this lady as that is bigamy especially if you are not a muslim. It will go on your record and this will make it more difficult for you to get a US visa in the future.
She should go prepared with documents to proove her ties and your financial/business documents to proove you two can afford it. She should just say her child's father will be sponsoring your family. |

i am not trying to justify his act, but you should know all humans have a threshold. he cracked. I hope maybe there can be a thread on this issue. i have friends that are in a frustrating marriage because of this issue. it can break a man or a woman! and sometimes divorce might not be a solution especially when you have a child with the wife. be it condom or not, the moment he looked at another woman, he cracked. I don't know what solutions he tried to proffer to the situation, but talking sometimes to your spouse about such issues helps. If both of you are not ready to shift grounds, it is better really to damn the consequences and move on with your lives (that is what i think, there might be better solutions). If he can afford to send the mother of his child to give birth there, I think he should. whether he likes it or not, the child is his and making future plans for the child is also a priority. olokings: Okie here goes. So I've been reading this new gist I was gonna waka pass on my own being a sensitive issue buh dude (I dare say cos I'm a man too) playing the guilt card is a no no no no no no no no.
