for those looking for hospitals and prices, look through that website. It has price details for a lot of hospitals in different state. This is like the 3rd time I am posting the website. It's frustrating to have to do it over and over again. Please try to help yourself too.

I don find dollars I don tire.. Firsttymum was using me to catch trips on Friday. I am just tired and I can't wait for Stanbic's waiting list thing jare.. God help us

I feel you ucystan. Some ppl feel it's funny or makes them popular to belittle others on the thread. If one can be helpful then you should be rather than being sarcastic. I believe most of us are all parents and have common goals. I asked a question on Dallas few days back. Before asking this question I had gone through pages n pages of post without any tangible help on it. Infact @ times I wake @ night scoring the Internet. I have called several doctors without getting really good responses. So to ask the question on the forum and to be laughed off was not really nice . Please let's try as much as possible not to turn to bullies and if you have no response to a post, simply don't comment.
There are other threads of this same discuss that you haven't searched. These things have been over flogged. It becomes annoying at a point to see the same questions over and over again. Think about it too

I must commend the good work great dad and great mom are doing here, it is indeed interesting. I have read through all the pages extensively and i am overwhelmed because i am well enlighten.

Can any one recommend any good affordable hospital in New York? We are making early preparation.......
I have deleted what I typed as response severally to you. They were all very rude responses. Since you have read all through, I will help with the name of the hospitals
Google
1) Lagoon hospital, downtown NY
2)Ayike house, Long island
3) reddington, Queens drive, Brooklyn

Good luck

Please one more thing my lovelies. I read through the thread some people said they contacted the embassy that they were going to go and give birth in the US and they got that genetic email. Some people on the thread said it's not necessary if you have used your visa before for visiting. Please I got my visa before I got pregnant through Dropbox. I've gone visiting on it and I'm going visiting again before I go for delivery... Do I need to send the embassy a change of intent email or inform them in anyway? Cos I know B1/B2 actually includes tourism medical and conference as long as you pay all your fees out of pocket. Do you think the email is entirely necessary?
Yes it is necessary.. Good thing you have used yours for visiting but even at that, it is not fault proof. We have read of someone deported too even thou she has good travel history to the US. Most important thing is preparation. Good luck

Well, they said I wouldn't need doctors referral as that's inclusive in their package. They said their midwives will take the delivery but if there's any ish the doctor would be only a call away if needed. Then I have to pay 500dollars for pediatricians fees. Price not including tests or scan. I intend to go with test and scan (I read that on this thread).... Meanwhile flight is like 1829dollars (klm), I would find out more when I make the first trip. It sounds too good to be true lol
Didn't you profess your lack of time to read just now? No be your post full this whole page so? Loool!

I am not sure if I have seen anything about the hospital. Google their number, call them and ask to be transfered to admissions. They will give you your bills there. As per other hospitals in New York, I am very confident you didn't read the previous threads. Make your phone your friend and read anywhere you find some break. It will help you ALOT!!

cheers

Hello All,

God bless all the mama's and papa's in the house for sharing great information.
Please does anyone have info as regards affordable hospitals in New York? Has anyone used(or know someone) that has used Nassau university hospital or Winthrop hospital? it has been difficult getting across to these hospitals to have an idea on their delivery cost. I have contacted some doctors and they say they use these hospitals but they can only give quote for their own services and i have to get the hospital fees myself.

Please help.

Whoa! thanks..that's really helpful.
hi,
this is a classic case of what i was trying to explain to you. some come off cheaper at first, but when you research further, you start to hear funny stories. i am not slighted about your response even thou i perceived it as quite defensive. I understand the burden involved too. just try to research well before making your decision about the hospital to use. Even thou i have been here for sometime and i have gathered much info, i still come back to look for something new so as not to be caught off guard. I pray for strength for you. pele. have a lovely day ahead. this website can also be a guide for you as it has a lot of hospitals and there average prices therein. http://hcahealthcare.com/pricing-financing/

good luck ma

thank you. For many pages there is nothing on it and in all my reading, 4 were mentioned which are not even cheaper. Anyway, I can't read through all the threads now that it's last minute which is why I do not expect one person to reply me. If you had one in mind it would take you relatively d same or less time n space to say "OakBend Houston". Not a biggie if you know one...well that's my thinking. Thanks though for your advice.
There are cheaper ones but each of the hospitals has peculiar issues that has been discussed in the previous threads. I can tell you Houston Northwest is cheaper but when you get slammed with a paediatrician bill that is ridiculous, have I done you any good? As it is as well, I can't list the peculiarities of each hospital to you. Your research therefore goes beyond name of hospitals. When you strive to thoroughly "glance through" you will find more useful information. That's my two cents. Happy hunting

I really don't think you truly read this thread. Why did you deny medical purposes? For the VO to specifically talk about it to you, and you saying no doesn't really do you any good. They will calculate when you got your visa and your due date and see you did misrepresentation. This is not really a good way to go by this. You will add to the ripple effect of denial for those with genuine purpose. I wish you well with the change of intent mail (that's if they don't even ban that soon with misrepresentations like this). Please pray well when leaving. May you find favor.

I am new here..
My elder sis introduced me 2 dis forum few wks ago & I v learnt alot. I v read almost all d pages in part 1,2&3. I feel so blessed to b here. And I hail all d lovely mama's & papa's in d house. U guys r 2much.
I will like to share my lil experience wit u all.
I applied 4a US visa in 2013 & was denied, I went alone, wit a virgin passport, was pregy den but it wasn't obvious. Reasons best known 2 dem I dint get it. I took a break gave birth 2my baby boy in naija.
My hubby has been to UK yrs b4 we gut married. We went to Ghana last year 4 vacation & decided to reapply as a family 4a US visa dis Oct. On d day of interview, unfortunately 4me I cldnt go in cuz I had an issue wit my bar code of 2013 which did not tally wit my appointment letter, I had to stay bk while hubby & son went in. I was frustrated & decided to engage my self in prayers, lol, am not a prayer warrior oo. Prayer was d 1st tin dat came 2 my mind. I prayed althru while I was outside waitin 4 dem. To God b d glory my hubby & son came out smilin, dia Visa was approved.
He wasn't asked much ques, dey jus asked him Wia he works, how long he had been wit d company, wats his position, wat state he is goin to & 4 wat purpose & how long is he stayin. Hubby replied for thanks giving, family reunion, Indianapolis, for 11 days. VO: I can c ur wife is not here wit u. Hubby explained. VO: Wia does she work. Hubby answred. VO: Wia v u traveled to. Hubby said UK alone, Ghana wit family last yr., hubby brought out his expired passport to show d VO of his stamped UK passport. D VO used a microscopic glasses to confirm d stamped visa. VO: Ur visa has been approved.
Dat was it, no doc was checked. Nothing.
I had to re-book my appoint via my agent 4 mid Nov.
On d day of interview I packaged myself as usual, I was preg but not visible to all.
Went in.
VO: v u been hia b4
Me: I dint refer to 2013 refusal oo, I jus went straight to sayin yes, was hia last month wit my family, cldnt cum in cuz of d issue I had, form DS 160 dint tally wit my appointment letter. My hubby & son's visa has been approved. Sharply I gave him my son & hubby's passport.
VO: went thru d passports & confirmed it, he opened my hubby's profile on d sys & asked me Wia my hubby works, how long he has been wit d comp, wat his position is, and Wia I v traveled to in d past. Explained all to him.
VO: asked Wia I work. I answered
VO: asked if I v any reason to go to d hospital , or If I v prepared any medical plans.
Me: I said no.
VO: He said if I eventually go to d hospital I wnt b attended to, dat I will b turned back.
Me: Ok.
VO: we r Tryin to encourage couple/family travellin. Ur Visa has been approved.
Omo menh I no fit shout. I jus say thank you waka commot. God is gud.
Unfortunately, we cldnt travel on d 24th of Nov due to my hubby's tight working schedule. So we v decided that I Shld wait & v d baby in US.
I v learnt 4rm d lovely mama's in d house dat I will need to mail d embassy of my change of intent.
I will b due in march 2016 & I intend travellin in mid Jan as my ticket has been booked already. I intend birthing in Texas, Elpaso. Thou will spend time in Indianapolis 4a month.
My ques is:
1. Has any1 given birth in indianapolis, cost & all so I can compare wit Elpaso.
2. How many March Mama's do we v in d house intending on birthing in Elpaso.
Pls let's hook up.
Luv u all..
Thanks.[/quote]

Hello,

Two years back Myself & My Wife have been granted Multiple B2 Visa with 5 Year validity , we had been to US, she had Baby Birth in US. I visited the consulate after a while in order to get some documents ready for my Baby in order to get the US Passport, when I was there, the Officer has figured out that the reason behind being in US wasn't for pleasure, and it was for my wife to give a birth in US so our baby gets US Citizenship, hence he told me that "we believe that you were not honest your intention to visit US" and your Visa will be revoked, with a red pen he has written "REVOKED" on my Visa. I have couple of questions in this regard:

1. Is it possible for me to get a Visa to US in the future for pleasure?
2. Is it possible for me to get a Visa to US in the future for Business?
3. If I have been selected in the DV Green Card Lottery, will this case effect my chance to get an immigrant visa?
4. Will my wife's Visa be revoked as well?
5. What will be the situation if my Wife travel again to US for another Childbirth?

Appreciate your response

Regards,
Wow I really feel for you. It was revoked and not a ban. That's a cancelled visa so you can still reapply. But misrepresentation could be a huge flag o! When you reapply, please be quick to apologise to the person interviewing you about your lack of knowledge in stating change of intent. He might pardon you. But ask for Ladyguinivere 's advice. She's very good with visa advice. Firsttymum answered with precision too, but seeing other opinion won't be a bad idea. Best of luck

Thanks so much austine2020 am not due till April but do I need to travel before I reapply or just go with fresh passport
Yes you need to travel and come back. That would boost your chances a little. Get the new passport, go to even DXB and come back. If they ask you what has changed between now and when you were last denied, you could state you have been on vacation. UK might take your time considering processing and all. Worst is if you get denied on the new passport by UK. That means we are back to square one with a bigger red flag. I would advice DXB. Ladyguinivere made valid points too. I am just trying for to buttress what she said. It's not too late as such.

So I have made several calls about this form A thing. First of all, Diamond says CBN doesn't approve it for delivery purposes so they don't even do it. Wema says the procedure is very long and the documentation is tiring. You will have to open an account, run it for 6 months, get letters from a specialist hospital, get letters from the receiving hospital and approval is even at the mercy of cbn. The rarely approve it even after going through these rigors. I just don't have an idea of what to do again really. Any other person with alternatives?

Hello all, (warning this post is really long )

If you're thinking of avoiding Chicago POE, that's a good decision . If you want to use Chicago, have all the documents in the world and pray hard

Arrived at Chicago POE at about 4pm few days ago. Queue wasn't so bad or maybe it moved fast

When I got towards the front, a uniformed lady asked ; pregnant? (I was almost like are you blind?) , I said yes and she said queue here. I was the only one waiting for that CBP. She passed a family without issues , so my hopes went up

Hey Justwise,
I think you have a good head on your shoulder even thou your agidi plenty small. I think if anyone has any form of info, let them post it in the forum for you and us to dissect and do with it as necessary since this is your thread. The moment you see PM me, i beg of you, kindly delete the info especially if it has to do with hospitals, cost and procedure. If you can't share any info here without PM me, please keep such info to yourself. About you considering advertisers, don't worry.. the traffic this website gets will take care of the advertisers. a lot of people find it difficult to read from part one.. they will click on those adverts. Like i said earlier, if you have any info to share, share IT!! don't come here saying PM me for more info.. we will shout ole ajibole on your head! regards people
TravelRe: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 3 by bigfido: 7:58am On Oct 26, 2015
Half of the pages on this part is full of argument as against the purpose of the thread. The thread is becoming useless. As a member of nairaland, you can start your own thread and name it "The real cost and procedures of giving birth in US" since the moderator has decided to remove the cost aspect of it. If people haven't done their research and posted them here in the first place, I don't know how you would have even gotten these advertisement you are protecting so much without considering the end users. In as much as I understand that the business aspect is very important, you also have to consider those that make the thread what it is. Nothing stops you from listening to people's opinion and aligning with them to make the thread useful to both the advertising company and the end user. Anyways, that's my one kobo. We all are not perfect, but please sometimes, be nice with your replies. They come across as being rude.
Shalom
