Lol. My "shouting" has struck a nerve? Will I be "sacked" too? undecided lool. The man is the head and the woman the slave abi? The woman can't even eat without the master's stamp! Smh! Like I asked, what is the Biblical condition for divorce? In your case it's "sacking" tho.. Lool. Africa, my Africa. Nigeria, my Nigeria. Lool of course I can't live with crass, crude, wicked and selfish men like you all supporting wickedness and insensitivity here ! I'm very very selective with that. For this sweet life? cheesy the goodnews is that there are good and sweet men out there. Men who see women as a flower to tend to and let blossom into a beautiful garden. Who won't because of insecurity choke potentials out of their women. Those are the men I deal with. Cheers.
I pity who ever ends up with you, that's if you ever find a man insane enough to marry you. I also fault your upbringing. You probably passed through the walls of a school but didn't get educated about the norms and values of cultural and institutional behavior. Not everyone that speaks English and writes it is educated. You are a perfect example. Have a sorry life ahead. My heart felt pity goes to whom will tender your garden full of thorns. Bye forever!

To others, sacking might be too harsh but I am sure it is better sometimes to just walk away rather than being in an abusive relationship.

Patience is a virtue.

did she go partying? Clubbing? She went to church!!!! My goodness! She is the wife and also an adult!!! She informed him. How will a man stop his wife from going to pray? Seriously? Is that what being married is all about? So because she is married she can't have the privilege to what she believes again? Seriously? Wht type of man stops his wife from praying for herself and her family even if it's 2months? Smh! Can't deal plss..
You obviously don't understand the concept of marriage.
The moment you make a decision to sign on the dotted lines, several privileges you have as A MAN or A WOMAN seize to exist. you are simply sugar coating the offence with church. It's even an offence towards God that she's going to worship to disobey her husband. So why exactly are you hammering on church? Be it a club, stripper joint or a tabernacle, it is within the rights of a marriage that the husband approves what goes on in the house. You know what the rules of marriage are. If you can't stand a man telling you trash, my sister, it is not by force to marry. Leave the institution alone rather going into it and then start quoting adult rights. You think as an adult, the man doesn't have a right to get drunk every night before coming home? But because he is married, those things come to check. And don't say she went to church because that even makes it worse. What sort of a irrational thinking pastor is that harboring a married woman for 2 days?

Like the woman na dope.....the so called husband for no dey yarn all this rubbish..............One reason why a woman should be independent, I'll never depend on a man for means of livelihood
Does being independent give you a right to be disobedient to your husbandhuh? This logic of yours is the reason marriages are failing now..

it is best you don't go there saying your mum is paying for the trip. It raises unnecessary flags. stick with your statement and have an investment certificate from your mum's cash. Don't even mention her giving you money for the trip at all!

Zumabeezle:
Oh yes. I changed jobs. That must be it. Now i feel better. And i'll just use mum and I as sponsors. Sebi they can't say my mother cannot give me money.
Thanks so so much. It's good to talk to people.

Emeldamicheals big congratulations to you. Same thing they did to my wife o. Only difference is I had paid 80% before travelling. Full doctor's fee and 70% of hospital. In fact I just completed payment for the hospital yesterday.

Guys if it is possible for you to make payments before travelling, kindly do so. They are not stopping you from coming into Houston but rather trying to protect the tax payers money. It's very important to make some form of commitment financially.

Good luck to everyone

Don't think it's a serious issue, we didn't go with our GTbank receipt when we got the visa 2 years ago and we didnt have issues. We just explained to the lady at the window that we left it in the car.

Anyways, he can still try and search for it. I shouldn't give you false hope because it could have just been favour.
Someone I know was told to go and get it. Luckily, he paid online so it was easy for him to print another receipt

Hello abujaniv,
My sister had her interview at Abuja on January 29th and her visa was approved but she was told to provide another passport because the information on the passport she used for the interview was blurring. She has since submitted her new passport via DHL as she was instructed since 2nd February but she's yet to get her visa and passport back. I don't know if it makes sense dropping passport number on a public forum so you can help verify what the issue is.
Thank you

For those of you looking for correspondence, stop calling doctors. Send them an email stating what you want and ask if they will deliver your wife of the baby. Ask what their rates are and requirements needed. They will reply you if they are interested or not. If it's a positive outcome, send them your medical report and pay them a token to issue you a letter for a scheduled appointment. That's it. I don't see why you are spending so much on phone calls. All this emails back and forth is what is call "correspondence"
I attended DW's first appointment at Dr Jeanie Huynh office over Skype and she was very nice. Rejected some of her results.. We are spending extra $600 doing another set of test now. God is in control. Overall, she's been very effective considering the initial backlash from here. Some of the reports she went with were hand written reports. She kept saying "tell people on YOUR WEBSITE that their report should be typed. That's the standard practice here".. She obviously knows about this forum. Anyways, more updated as they come. Cheers people
