brotundes:I just fell off my chair laughing while i read this.. |
LadyGuinivere:well, because pikin get madness no mean say we go disown am.. even thou you deserve beating, i will still advice you. call your wife in nigeria if she's still available and beg her well to forgive you so you can make heaven! secondly, if you look back this thread, you'd see we don't condone fraud or illicit behavior here. for your own good, try to get a job that can file for you or give yourself up to the authority like Obama said sometime ago and pray you find true love there to settle down with but before you do this, ask you wife in Naija to send you divorce papers then sign it so you can free the innocent woman from people like you with sharp horns! i am sure you know that place is not paved with gold now. good luck and make sure you ask that woman for forgiveness |
hey!! gentleiphy congrats o! enjoy your trip! Ladyguinivere, how na? this my goat meat wey you put on fire wen never done, abeg, na dinasaur you dey cook? @chloe7, i think you won't get an earlier date. the reason Ify got lucky with the date was because people that were supposed to have their interview on June 15th to 23rd had their appointment cancelled and were told to reschedule an appointment after that date due to this glitch they are having with their network. spaces might have been freed also for the 24th, which gave Ify the opportunity to get the date. I was doing a little investigation about why visas have not been printed and i suspect it has a strong ties with this OPM hack. I also suspect that the OPM investigates visa applicants as well. you guys can read up on them. Chleo, i think you should just choose a date and then stick to it. frankly speaking, the longer you wait, the more likely the dates will keep moving backwards. cheers people |
honeyoluwatoyin:wow! so sorry to hear.. please post your transcript so we can know what next to do |
LadyGuinivere:Hey! please where do we destroy this isiewu oo... i am always free if goat meat is mentioned |
cornoil:My friend, you better quit this forgery of yours. you had to even take it to your company HR and the person agrred to do fraud for you?? that's terrible! i know of a girl that works at a governmetn agency in lagos, she applied for UK visa, printed all sorts of payslips with the letterhead she stole form the office and did oluwole bank statement. after submitting her application, the embassy wrote to the MD of the agency asking him to verify his signatures and staff, with contents of the letter. she is currently serving a 2yrs suspension from work as we speak. Stop this act, cancel your application, fill another DS-160 form, put whatever it is you earn and go for your interview. if you have read well here, you'd see that getting a visa depends on so many factors asides from what you earn.. before Ladyguinivere's karma kicks you lying ass! ![]() have a rethink. cheers |
gentleiphy:Good gentleiphy, please no more doing illegal things abeg! Nigeria as it is is bad enough, let us try to redeem our image so we could be respected again. i remember at JFK airport in April, the TSA (sic) guys that spoke to my daughter were so happy and gave us several tags on our jacket. i was happy and all these happened after checking our passports. Don't do that illegal stuff again abeg! wish you all the best mate |
And for those interested, there is a sales closing today or tomorrow, not so sure on Etihad to New york for 189k.. only snag is your bumbum will catch fire in the plane due to the long hours of travel. aproximately a day in the plane! |
chloe7:28th of July for Lagos and 13th of August for Abuja. It is summer period so dates are really not so easy to get.. do you guys know if they have started printing Visas now? |
LadyGuinivere:see, there you again! Typical Nigerian! No sense of belonging or considering others. Just shear irrational people!! how dare you? White soup and akpu, no invite? sacrilege! |
LadyGuinivere:you should actually. i can help you compile evidence since you might end up with more spiritual issues for doing that. |
chloe7:hi Chloe, i am sure i read well with the karma kicked his behind so that's why he didn't get the visa. i might not have stated well the criminal thing but i am very sure he knows and everybody knows what he did is bad. but the question is about ties. let's focus well on that to help others and not karma getting you denied |
LadyGuinivere:see again, typical Nigerian. resulting name calling. the hair on your head is standing and your nostrils are wide open for telling you the truth about tackling issues and not reading illogical conclusion to it. Everyone here knows what he did is bad. I am sure he knows even before doing it. I am sure you have done something bad yourself at some point in your life. I am thinking this same karma for doing something bad as always been the reason somethings might not go as you have planned before? like i stated before your illogical reasoning came into play again, if you don't have a valid answer rather than a spiritual conclusion to issues, let someone that does say. |
please does anyone know if the embassy have started printing visas now? it's been two weeks now since the outage |
LOOOL! Nigerians! what on earth is 'he got rejected because of karma or because he helped someone runaway??' and how is breaking immigration rules a criminal offence? have you seen someone go to prison for it before? do you fail exams because you whispered an answer to someone in an exams which therefore made the original answer wrong? our major problem will always be too much religion, illogical rational to solving a problem and finally blaming that problem on abysmal reasoning rather than finding logical and scientifical solutions to a problem. Why not just leave this baseless karma somewhere and tackle the problem gentleiphy is trying to talk about and see what possible solutions so that someone else will not get denied. Even pastors and Imam get denied with travel history and all sorts. the problem he is stating here is ties. what exactly do they mean by sufficient ties that won't get you denial. if you don't know the answer rather than suggest karma, please let someone else that might have an answer say so. thank you my people |
Chloe7, your morale don drop o.. you are hardly here again |
check through the airline website tayoamos: |
it was last year november chloe7: |
if not that Abuja is over booked, it seems the best place to go to. i told you guys about me forgeting my passport in lagos and my interview was for 8am. i didn't get the passport until 11ish and got to the embassy at about to 12. i just told them what happened and they let me in. my visa was even approved. lagos sucks big time. meanwhile you can get etihad for less than 200k if you are travelling and returning before 1st of August. ![]() |
good luck Chloe7 |
my friend's visa was approved today. he is single, didn't go to the embassy with any bank statement or any other document except the print out of the registration of the software training he was going for. Chloe7 do you have a print out of your DS 160 form? if you do, pleae study it very well before you interview. I advised him to do this this morning before going for his interview. he did and he was heavily drilled with questions as regards what he filled. will get his transcript and post here when i can |
who ever this visapayless guy is, i think you are absolutely rude and born with jealousy written all over your umbilical cord! it even saddens my heart the more to think you are a man. how is it your cup of tea or business if he faked his statement of account? he is 27 with a whole life ahead of him. i know lawyers that build houses for people and resell without a registered business name! considering his transcript, i think he should reapply immediately. remove the car importation from your form, tell the VO you have a son and his mother is a civil partner to you. tell him when you guys intend to marry and that is it. we are here to learn from eachother and not to back bite. Please dont reply me visapayless.. your opinion is sickening already. |
no it is not a business trip. it is a vacation. unless i am stating that the company is paying for the vacation justwise: |
one more thing @justwise, do i state that the company is paying for my trip since the money to pay is coming from that account? justwise: |
thank you @justwise. i have filled the forms and indeed i stated those refusal with their reference numbers. I was referring to getting another refusal stamp on the new passport. it will be very annoying and painful. thanks, will let you know when i get the visa.. hopefully! justwise: |
justwise:i think so 1) was supposed to go and inspect some goods for the coy i was working for, naive me didn't put invitation letter into the application nor did i ask for it from the comapny. My boss went afterwards 2) no family or economic tires 3) i deposited some money in my account a week before applying that i didn't explain what it was for 4) explained what the money was for with additional support document but VO wasn't satisfied |
hello @justwise i am new on this thread and i think you might have to indulge me a little to anwer my numerous questions i am planning to re-apply for yet another uk visa. before i go any further, i have been refused 4 times. twice before i got married and twice after i got married which was a family vacation application. A lot has changed between the last refusal (April, 2013) and now. I had not travelled out of Africa whilst applying for the previous application but since then, i have gone to the UAE like 4 times and I have been to the US twice. In fact, i have a valid US visa with every member of my family. I also now run my own registered business with a registered bank account, VAT remittance and tax clearance certificate for the company. Here are my questions 1) i don't pay my self a salary since it is my company. i get money from the company account based on how much jobs i get done at any particular time. But there is a steady flow of money from my company account into my personal account. how do i rate what my monthly income is in the form? it's not a given monthly rate at all 2) I am going to the us for a software training course in July and intend to go to the uk from there for vacation. do i need to state this in my application as this has increased the amount i am to pay for air travel greatly. 3) do i move the money for the purpose of the trip to my personal account from the company account and then state it in my application that i moved the money from there since i will be paying for the trip or do i leave it there and claim someone else (my company) is paying for the trip? 4) what documents am i supposed to add to this application? should it include documents for my travel purpose to the US since i plan to come into the uk from there? 5) i just don't know how to construct this application. i just got a new passport and i was delighted to get rid of the last one due to various stamps from the uk embassy. i will be very furious if i get denied on this passport again. so far, i have had several travel stamps on it and not visa denial stamps. kindly advise me on how to put this application together |
chloe7:sorry Chloe7 i was referring to the message before yours |
chloe7:I just shared my experience so that you can pick or learn from it.. i don't know what it will profit me to tell you i followed my wife and daughter into the embassy in abuja if i didn't. Just learn from it and know it is possible.. |
PaulBaroi:Abuja is a more lenient place. i was carrying my daughter. they just asked if i was here for an interview? i said no, that my daughter was. they asked for my passport, i showed them, and they let me carry her in |
i arrived at chicago airport, and went straight to immigration clearnce with the form i filled. vo guy that attended to me just asked a question about what i was coming for, i told hime business, he stamped in my passport and gave me 6 months to stay in. he then wrote something on the form of declaration that i filled. i went to pick up my bag and followed everyother person that was walking towards the door to leave the airport. as i go there, comeone asked for my declaration form, i showed him , then directed me somewhere else. that was the beginning of my ordeal. it was a queue, i could use my phone or go to the toilet at that point. then they called me to move towards the counter, swiped my passport and questioning started. they then collected all my bags and then emptied it on a table. the guy come wear gloves start to dey scatter things one by one. in my mind, i was like, person don put dagbo inside my load? who i offend? wetin happen. after the guy had finished with my load, he asked for my return ticket, i gave him, he then went to confirm it. afterwards, he told me to go and sit in one cubicle like that. at that point, fear don hook me. wetin happen? abi that my village luxirious people follow me reach here again? then they gave me cookies, tea and started gisting with me.. i was there for like 3 hrs. i couldn't touch my phone, i couldn't get up, i could.t go to the toilet.. i was just there. then after like 3 hrs, someone came and called me to go into another office. they asked for my passport and swiped it again. the guy didn't cover his system well so i saw the screen. brethren, you wont believe what i saw. i saw different pictures of me from facebook, pictures of my daughter, pictures of my wife, my grad pictures, and under each one, there were comment about it. the text were too tiny so i couldn't see it. at that point, the only thing that came to my mind was.. what the actual Bleep ? where did this people find my life history from?? how did they get my graduation picture? oh yes, i saw my twitter handle too.. i saw a screen shot of my email addresses. not open, but it was there. i was just there moping. the guy recovered quickly to block the system so i couldn't see anything again me wey be naija boy.. i form sneezing immediately! the guy then asked if i wanted more coffee, i told him i was fine. he then swiped my passport again, collected the declaration form, then told me to go and welcome to hte united states of america. to cut the story short, this people already almost know before you go for your interview if they are going to give you visa or not. they ahve done their homework on you! the only thing you need to do if they found enough to be satisfied to give you visa is just to confirm what you wrote in your forms. i wasn't surprised when they didn't question me about too much when i took my wife because they already know i am married to her. i don't know what you guys can pick from my experience o, but that's it. good luck to everyone |
