Three months into his presidency, only one person has been charged to court, now nobody knows what the outcome of the case has been - Mr Bankole Ex-governors, ex-minister of state for health, MD of major parastatals etc, until now they are galivanting all over the country without been charged. Even Mr President hasn't declared his assets over 100 days since he has been in office. Yet some people still claim that the govt is doing something about corruption, so sad indeed empty words all over again. Mr President made the same statement few months ago we want to see result. |
The govt through the NCC can help by tasking the various internet providers to lower their rate or else face huge fine. I think this happened sometime ago in the UK. Now internet prices are reasonable next to nothing and connection have vastly improved, because the UK govt understands the importance of internet towards development of the economy. It seems some dubious people in govt have a stake in most of these companies reason why nothing is been done to address the situation. |
One simple solution - uninterrupted power supply. |
We are known in this country to celebrate mediocracy. There is nothing tangible that this administration has done in the last 100 days, only misery. How people can say there is achievement baffles me, when it took Dr Jonathan, ulmost 2months to name a cabinet. Until now even the various ministries have no meaningful objectives that we can follow up. All we hear through the media is just statement upon statement without any productive output. I'm really disappointed with Dr Abati, as I expect so much from him. We definetely have a very long way to go in this country. |
This event is good and show case the best thing about Nigeria. The pictures are all nice, people let's appreciate these guys. |
I think it has nothing to do with either christianity or western culture. Most people from the southern part of nigeria delay burial due to financial constraint. In the West, once the dead has been certified, burial is done without delay. |
Baba OBJ is a man known for telling it as it is, no sweet talking trying not to annoy anyone. How I wish OBJ is still the president during the past bombings, in reality a lot of heads will have rolled. As compared with Mr GEJ who I guess is clearly afraid of his own shadow. |
It's about time we start our own 'arab spring' in this country to let the PDP and their president understand that they are voted to work for the population and not the other way round. By now the assembly should be called back from recess to address the security situation in the country. Few weeks ago despite the fact that the UK parliament were on holiday, the prime minister called an urgency session to address the cause and find a solution to the riots. Here our dear president and national assembly are making useless noise about nothing. |
Regardless if the outfit is either religious or political, something significant must be done by the leaders in this country to put a stop to this group and every other bunch of cowboys bent on disrupting the peace of this nation. Unfortunately our dear president is confuse, he still hasn't made any public address since last friday. All we hear is from his press secretary. What a faceless president we have. |
Another thing which is unfortunate is that some of our ladies don't even know what exactly they want in a relationship. Most can't even define and explain how responsible their intending 'boyfriend' or 'spouse' should be. If the guys are not paying their dues - e.g. buying them stuffs then in their books those guys are not responsible. They have been reading too much 'mills and boom' and watching fake hollywood movies giving them a false sence about having the divine mr right. |
I don't blame some of our sisters who are still on look out for responsible guys. Ladies please change your attitude and learn to develop good communication skills. Not every guy who apporaches you is after sex. Also most of our ladies are too high minded and tend to look down on guys who approach them, why. |
Proper child abuse, so sad that these young ones are been subjected to this kind of live. I'm so saddened to look at the photo of these innocent ones |
Most of the statistics are unrealiable and always biased. Yes Lagos is not a city that is accomodating, but it has got real life and soul compared with other parts of the country. |
We should all learn to respect and appreciate each other for who they are. They are all confident people and their pictures are nice. Keep it up. |
This is very serious if the report is true. So with all the huge budget for security, the security agents cannot do anything to stop these kind of atrocities. While other countries are using counter-terrorism measures, ours in nigeria are not prepared to do anything. Shame on the President and the National Assembly. |
It is a deep rooted psychological matter that can only be explained by the ladies who are in serious abusive relationships. |
I don't see this as anything important if the suppose question is not asked. I personally think that statement should be removed from the wedding programme. |
Combine a foreign language with a masters degree it will be beneficial. |
small and significant changes will have happened in the country. not that i support buhari, but his determination will have achieved somethings. nigeria need an effective and disciplined leader, not from the crops of the ones we have now. |
There are hundreds of such properties bought without any knowledge all around the world. We are known for our wastage in most foreign lands. Shame |
When there is no proper town planning this is what happens. |
Freedom is not cheap, it is very expensive. |
Enough of this ceremonial talk, all we want is effective action and regular power supply. They know where the problem lies, instead we're been hoodwinked by various statements from the presidency. ACTION, NOT MERE WORDS. |
Nothing has changed. |
This is what BB has turned normal relationship into materialism, no BB, no love. |
@ Sike #110 - true statement. |
No wonder the ratio of girls to guys on NL is huge, now we know where love to hang out. |
Harmless 'i love you' or serious statement 'i love you', bros the decision is entirely yours to take. Be careful not to over react. |
Proper investigation into this scenario is needed, Nigerian Police 'Farce' with their cock and bull stories. |
What a funny story. |
I really admire ladies who drive, nothing wrong with that. Most guys are very insecure when they see ladies driving modern cars. One thing in Nigeria is that, guys see having cars as an extension of their man.hood to pull ladies - hence cars are termed puz.z.y magnet. |
