iyken:when it comes to things as flimsy as the way a person dress or speak or eat many people are quick to jump and say lets not lose are African heritage.Fine thats is good.but what we fail to see is that AFRICAN HERITAGE goes beyond cosmetics, fashion and cultural dance, its its more about being your brothers keeper.making our society a better place , moving the Africa of today to the yesterday Greatness of the Former Oyo,zulu, kush,Egyptian,Timbaktu,Buganda.and other Great Empires.and out of the laughing stock and impoverish condition that we many of our people have found themselves today.ever since i have been born what i have come to know Africa about is WAR,NEPOTISM,CORRUPTION,HATRED,AND GENERAL WICKEDNESS TO ONE ANOTHER, that attitude is what we must first change it most be the first priority of AFRICANS.cus real africa is in the inside of me , its not about what i wear but how i act towards my fellow brother. but how i make my own contribution towards making africa a better place, all our leaders always wear flowing african robes to UN meetings but did that change our condition.look at an average session of our house of assembly 90% of the members are dressed in Agbada, yet their are all crooks, for me being Africans is more of what is inside of u, chasing young girls with skimpy dress is tantamount to chasing shadows |
Many of us are missing the point, yes wearing of skimpy dress by ladies or men doing braids can be seen as immoral, but is every immoral act a crime? is it written in any law that it is a crime to wear skimpy dress? of for men to braid their hear? we say we are in a democratic dispensation .but isnt democracy about the rule of law?.the constitution of NIgeria gives us the right to freedom of expression. It also makes it unlawful to for a person to be charged for a crime that is not written down in any statute in Nigeria.they are certain extremes (as with everything in life) but u most agree with me that the word "skimpy" is very subjective and it is left to every person to define what he or she considers has skimpy and what is acceptable, e.g what is considered considered acceptable in a University environment might be extreme in a more conservative environment like say a Mosque/or some churches, and what a deeper life church member might see a skimpy is just ok in other Churches . so what then is the guide line for being skimpy.or do we live it to the individual orientation of are law enforcement agents?(who dont even have the power to make this arrest in the first place) futher more why are people associating this recent clampdown with gov.Fasola, i cant remember him coming out officially to say that the wearing of skimpy dresses was illegal? ok lets assume that he is supporting the move from the underground, does that not indicate that he is aware that to do so in the open would mean openly violating the provisions of the very constitution that he has sworn to protect, some poeple consider smoking, drinking, premarrital sex, among others to be immoral but we must all agree that to make this a crime would be taking the law far too much into the private lifes of the invidividual members of the society.and violating our right to choose between what is right and what is wrong.cross the line of the notion of freedom of expression that is the very foundation of a free society, everyday police harass people for things as flimsy as not having a fire extinguisher in their cars with government looking the other way.now they want those same corrupt idiots to now be arresting for people "Not dressing properly" next it would be for not brushing their teeth, not having their bath, |
Q:u sure are one lucky Basta, sorry person anyway i just got the autocard u requested from friend its 2008 and it is vista compatible, and it is cracked and working, also i have the msword u requested.u can give me a call 08022982697 |
i quite a agree when it comes to production i give it to the Ibo/Nollywood English Speaking Movies.Acting is very Bad, and i feel the reason is the lack of originality in the acting of most of our English movie stars, most just want to copy hollywood in an obvious and irritating manner, they do and say things that are allien to the everyday Nigerian Experience, and for me that is a Big minus to their acting, even the yorubas in the English speaking Nollywood Genre are no better, but by contrast while many yoruba language movies lack good productions (with the execption of Mainframe) the acting is soooo real that as a Nigerian and a Yoruba person i can easily relate with the story and the action and of the actor, since it is something that i come across anyday, on the whole Nollywood still has a long way to go in order to create an identity for its self |
glad to be of help amena. |
Install OSX Without Installing OSX.…and believe me when the job is finished you wont be able to tell the difference.everything from your sound schemes to your default icons to your logon screens would be changed.futher more , DOES NOT contain any spyware or ad-ware of any kind AND DOES NOT SLOW UR PC . HOW? , ITS ALL HERE http://bigbrovar./2007/08/05/88/ You most have seen how cool Vista, Ubuntu, and OSX all look with their Aero, Beryl, and Tiger looks. Windows XP users have to content with their rather dull looking interface. But you too can spice up your Good old XP by showing it some pimping love, . also include very cool stuffs like applications and codec’s that would further increase your user experience on windows XP .fortunately most of the programs we need to do this are freewares and can be downloaded here , http://bigbrovar./2007/08/01/love-vendor-your-xp/

HOWTO: Wireless Data Cards These instructions will walk you through the process, step-by-step, of configuring the EV-DO CDMA Wireless Data Card although i used this to configure my Merlin v620 card i am confident tha it would work for other similar models works for Ubuntu Dapper 6.06 LTS with the GNOME Desktop and fiesty fawn which is wht i use In most cases, activation of your wireless data card is either done by a representative of your wireless provider, or must be done using the included software on a Microsoft® Windows®-based operating system. Refer to the installation instructions included with your hardware for more information. Once you have completed the activation of your product, you are ready to begin configuring the wireless card for use in Linux. u must start the process of configuring your data card by first gathering some very important information that Ubuntu will need in order to utilize the hardware properly. Be sure that, at this point, you have the card removed from the PCMIA slot on your notebook before beginning. Open a terminal window and execute the following command: Code: cat /proc/bus/usb/devices > devices Now insert your data card into the PCMIA slot and wait for a few seconds before continuing. In the terminal window again, type the following and press ENTER: Code: diff /proc/bus/usb/devices devices | grep Vendor You should see some output that looks like the following: Code: harbinger@endymion:~$ diff /proc/bus/usb/devices devices | grep Vendor < P: Vendor=0000 ProdID=0000 Rev= 2.06 < P: Vendor=0000 ProdID=0000 Rev= 2.06 < P: Vendor=1410 ProdID=1110 Rev= 0.00 harbinger@endymion:~$ Inspecting the output, you will find two key pieces of information necessary for configuration of your data card: the Vendor and the ProdID. Now, in the terminal, execute the following command: Code: sudo modprobe usbserial vendor=0x1410 product=0x1110 Be sure to use your own Vendor and ProdID variables here. Your wireless card should now be properly configured, and we can now move on to the next step of the process. Configuration Script Next, we need to edit the configuration script in order to get the data card communicating with the outside world. Issue the following command and press ENTER: Code: sudo gedit /etc/wvdial.conf Copy and paste the following code into the file, replacing the existing contents: Code: [Dialer Defaults] Stupid Mode = on Modem = /dev/ttyUSB0 Baud = 921600 Init = ATZ Init2 = ATQ0 V1 E1 S0=0 &C1 &D2 +FCLASS=0 Phone = #777 Username = XXXXXXXXXX@provider.com Password = XXXXXX Init1 = ATZ ISDN = 0 Modem Type = Analog Modem Auto Reconnect = on Carrier Check = no [Dialer shh] Init3 = ATM0 [Dialer pulse] Dial Command = ATDP In the above script, you will need to change a few pieces of information. First, you will need to replace "XXXXXXXXXX@provider.com" with the 10-digit phone number and provider domain assigned to your data card. (For example: 5551234567@sprintpcs.com). Lastly, change the password to the one supplied to you by your provider. This password is normally referred to as an MTL or PIN number and is typically 6 digits long, but may vary depending on your provider. If you are unsure of what values to enter here, contact your service provider. [edit] Testing the Connection The card has been configured, our script should be in order, and we should now be ready to test our connection to ensure that it is working properly. In the terminal window, use the following command: Code: wvdial If the connection works, you will receive output in the terminal window similar to the following: Code: arbinger@endymion:~$ wvdial --> WvDial: Internet dialer version 1.55 --> Cannot get information for serial port. --> Initializing modem. --> Sending: ATZ ATZ OK --> Sending: ATQ0 V1 E1 S0=0 &C1 &D2 +FCLASS=0 ATQ0 V1 E1 S0=0 &C1 &D2 +FCLASS=0 OK --> Modem initialized. --> Sending: ATDT#777 --> Waiting for carrier.
