This is my story.....im married to a single mum.....and she was sepearated for about 3years and we got married after a year from divorce....

she has custody of their 2kids from d previous marriage and thrir dad usually pick them up on weekends....and most of d time, he would stay in d car while d kids go out to meet him because my wife told me he stopped him from coming into d house even before I came here.


so yesterday he came to pick d kids in d morning, my wife went out to discuss something wit him and she came in to make him some coffee while d kids took that out for him coz obviously my wife didn't want him coming in.....fast forward to d night, he brought d kids back and immediately followed them into d house....I heard him talking but fortunately I was in d room....then after a while, my wife came in and ask me if I would like to meet d kids dad........

Firstly I need to tell you, most people saying you did the right thing will of course do otherwise. Let me tell you the simple truth, I think your pastor is right and you were just being proud.
Firstly what is the name of your church. Most churches want their workers to always dress smart, as a matter of fact RCCG instruct their members to wear suit every Sunday to make them unique. I guess the pastor already assumed you are a worker and he just addressed you as one, it's up to you to know if u want to work for GOD.
Most people here are hypocrites and kids with phones, listen to them at your own peril. Go back to the pastor and apologize, you may not go to the church again but apologize to the pastor. Am sure if he's your manager at work, you won't walk out on him.

Recently I joined a church, I know how to play piano but not really well. The church has a standard pianist that plays literally on every church's event. When they discovered I knew how to play, they gave me the opportunity to be playing at least 2 times a month. Honestly, I didn't see myself as a church worker because I've never been to their meeting before. I only play when they tell me to otherwise I stay at the congregation. Last Sunday, I wore a shirt with a suit trouser and a sandals to church, then I wasn't expected to tuck in my shirt with a sandals. When I got to church, the pastor ordered me out of the church to tuck in before coming inside and instructed the ushers to not let me in until I tucked in my shirt. The church was still on and I got so ashamed and embarrassed. Everybody's eyes were on me during that time.

As confused as I was, I angrily left the church that moment to another nearby church.

Then I started thinking, Do we really have to tuck in our shirts to show how holy we are in church? What do you think had prompted the pastor to order me out? Do Christians have a dressing code? Will I be judged on the final day for letting loose my shirt to church? What's your view on this?

Our introduction was slated for next year, he is my first love, I've been so loyal nd i pray for him.. I feel so used and heartbroken..my instincts tell me something is wrong..I'm back to square 1, where would i start from? He was my best friend, my everything..now, it's just me
