tkb417:Look at his profile in 6 months in La liga: 8 goals in 13 starts and 7 subs. Given that your club is signing the likes of Owen, Valencia, and Obertan, am not surprised you dont recognize top quality even if it was sitting in your laps, starring you in the face and shouting your name. |
bawomolo:You would need to trade Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah, Deng and whatever pieces you have left to miami. Then what would you do with wade? ![]() Miami needs only one more star to make a championship team, and have Udonis and O'neal, as bargaining pieces. Chicago has lost one of their key bargaining pieces in Ben Gordon. Bulls management are idiots, so stop dreaming about wade. |
Krayola:so villa is worth 40M+? ![]() Who are the everybody that wants to play for barca - Ribery, CR, Kaka or Benzema? oops forgot, it must be your overrated prodigal cule whining from london or is it the Madrid snubbed Villa ![]() Great Salaries like you are paying yaya and eto abi? I beg clear road for jagajaga; we no get break o! ![]() |
tkb417:Hunter = Macheda? He is one of the top 10 finishers presently, and would only be considered surplus at Madrid given their current roster. He would make at least second choice striker at most of the other top teams. He is far better than most of the idiots in the EPL, who couldn't score a goal even if the ball was in the net already. The interests in him from numerous clubs proves his quality. I suspect SAF is trying to wait out the other big clubs in the market, so that they would get involve in price war when they move in for their targets, and also for the *)M effect to subside a bit so that sellers dont try to fleece them for it. The Benzema deal must have left a sour taste. The risk is that all the good players might be off the market by then. |
Eastbay:Huntelaar is surplus to requirement at Madrid who has Benzema, Higuain, Raul, RVN, Huntelaar and Negredo vying for 1 (or at most 2) striking positions. The first 3 players are going nowhere, while 2 of the last 3 (likely RVN and Huntelaar) will be sold. For transfers, the club has to approve before the suitors can talk to the player. In this case, Madrid requires that they meet their asking price of 20M else no deal. |
Sort out your summer transfers first, before you plan on el classico. ![]() |
Its madrid that has agreed, I doubt the player has agreed yet. I doubt ManU has made a qualifying bid, else they would be prominent in the running. |
@Sauron Madrid agree Huntelaar sale: Huntelaar to make decision after Stuttgart approach accepted http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11835_5424611,00.html I suspect the guy would try to delay things, hoping for Milan to fail in their Fabiano bid, as he is said to be their second option. |
Anyways, we will drop by on Nov. 29 to whoop all ur fat asses |
@Ogazi There is nothing wrong with the Madrid youth system. It has produced quality spanish players like Raul, Casillas, Lopez, De la Red, Granero, Negredo etc. We just prefer to sell our players to top flight clubs where they would get first team opportunities, with the possibility of buying them back, as opposed to stifling their careers by holding on to them, like Barcelona is doing with kirkic or they did with Xavi (who had better prospects than Cesc) At the recent U21 tournament, the spanish team had 5 player from the madrid youth system, while Barcelona had only 1. For the spanish team at the confederations cup, there were 4 products from the madrid youth system, while Barcelona had 6. So how does Barcelona's youth system become the model to follow? Of the 8 players that you made reference to, only 5 (Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Puyol and Valdes) are in your first eleven, and the number would be less if your management could afford to buy the players they wanted like Villa, Ribery, Mata, Filipe, and Alves. Its funny that the last time you won the UCL, there were only 2 players from your youth system in the starting eleven for the final. What was your club policy then? ![]() You should check out the Ajax team of 1995 before mouthing off about your youth player achievements. Dont come online and try to extol Barcelona's youth system like if it was the secret of your success. Barca is like any other top european club, they would try to get the best players for their team with less consideration for which youth sytem they came from. You should look through the hsitory of Barca and note how many foreigners you have signed over the years. Even in your golden era of early 90s, your team was dominated by foreigners with players like Romario and Stoichkov leading your attack. The youth system accolades are reserved for the likes of Sevilla, Valencia, and depor. We dont have a problem with player loyalty, nor do we treat them like crap like you are doing to Eto. Even when not in the plan of the coaches, players rarely ask to leave Madrid. Madrid spends a lot of money buying the best players, yet we are the biggest and richest club in world. Barcelona or any other club would do the same, only if they could afford it, or is your president who hypocritically criticized madrid for buying kaka and Ronaldo not now trying to buy Villa for a price madrid felt was too steep for his value? Don't be an hypocrite by trying to criticize our business policies or were you complaing when the money was coming your way for the figo sale? Don't take it personal, but Barcelona just didnt have the quality of players we were looking for. |
what wade needs is a big man on the inside and not a guard. Wade wants to win championships. He is a star and will not come cheap. By the time chicago trade all their pieces for him, they will be nothing more than a lottery bound team ![]() |
bawomolo:Impossible! even in your sweetest dreams ![]() DWade is all Heat, all day, everyday. All we need is to get him Bosh or Amare ![]() |
George Best, Bobby Charlton(all Man Utd players). . . . . They do. . . . .stop arguing about what you dunno.
so what happened to your manufacturing line for 40yrs? I repeat you dont manufacture them.
Only Man Utd and Ajax FC can lay claims to making Ballon d'Or winners not those shitty clubs in Spain. Madrid can as well close down their training centre since they cannot nurture a talent from cradle and make him a world beater. Buncha rogues.
Apart from Ronaldo from ManU, Cryuff form Ajax and Owen from Liverpool, who else won at a club that they were more or less developed at? To each his own. No be say manU too dey manufacture dem. We have top players that have come through the system, and we dont shy away from buying if we want. If you want to train, you can transform your club to Arsenal and watch them run a day care center. We love the best players and the best players love us. so carry una bad belle comot. ![]() |
Nah! Laporta is a looney. The idiot, which ballon d'or did Barca make? all the past winners at Barca were bought, while messi is yet to win the award. No be the same guy wan spend €40m+ on villa, and is interested in buying Ribery even with the price tag. The guy is only bitter that, despite their treble wins, all the media and everyone else is still talking about madrid .He should mind his own business and stop carrying madrid's problems for head. We wey get load no dey complain Or e dey vex say we no spend the money reach their side ![]() I no blame am sha, if I be him, I go hate me too ![]() Some things are a given in life (and manu fans should appreciate this) The greater shall bless the lesser, while the lesser shall envy the greater ![]() Like any Barca guy, e just dey jealous us ![]() |
Krayola:I dont envy the guy at all.I hope they give him till the end of the season before evaluating his performance, and not give him the 'december boot' that madrid is so famous for. The guy is essentially starting from scratch, unlike someone like Guardiola who inherited the core of his team from Frank. Unfortunately, with madrid hosting the UCL final, his job will likely be tied to his progress in the tournament. The club and its fans will not take kindly to someone else lifting the trophy in their backyard. In fairness to the management, they have been exceptionally quick with the signings (only outstanding player being Xabi) , and except for benzema communication shouldn't be a problem. Without signing Xabi (or a CM of similar caliber), or Gago making a big jumping, the team will likely struggle. Still, with a squad worth about $500 million, there is little room for excuses, and he would be expected to deliver the double (UCL + league) to retain his job. |
Real Madrid Accept Stuttgart Offer For Klaas-Jan Huntelaar According to Marca, Real Madrid have accepted VfB Stuttgart's €20 million bid for Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, who is out of favour at the Bernabeu. The German side are believed to be the only club to have matched Real's valuation of the player, who joined 'Los Blancos' from Ajax in the winter transfer window. Despite Huntelaar's €3.8m-a-year current contract, Stuttgart are ready to match the striker's wage demands following the lucrative sale of Mario Gomez to Bayern Munich. The Spanish paper claims that the only thing left for Huntelaar to complete a deal to Stuttgart is for him to agree on personal terms with the German outfit. http://www.goal.com/en/news/11/transfer-zone/2009/07/09/1373295/real-madrid-accept-stuttgart-offer-for-klaas-jan-huntelaar |
mukina2:I told you to start fasting along with your prayers ![]() U better pray they dont relegate una this season ![]() See dem, ijebu club - tight fisted like tyson in his prime ![]() |
You people are busy with a poll on Ade, when you should be sampling opinions on if you will be relegated this season. Arsenal FC of Ijebuland ![]() |
khanye:That is if they dey dont go belly up before the end of the season, with their debt that exceeds the clubs value! ![]() |
Are you buying a starting LB to replace Abidal, or looking for a future prospect? If it is the latter, I am sure there are enough talented players in Barca's youth system, that they dont need to buy an uproven 26yr old from Brazil who would likely be 30 before he can establish himself in the first team. Filipe is much better value. Madrid buys stars because it is part of the clubs philosophy to have the best from all over the world playing for us every year and it works for us. Barca have their share of buying stars, or were the likes of Ronaldinho, Deco, Henry, Eto and Dani Alves groomed at home? |
tkb417:haba!!! wetin sevill, back 2 back uefa cup champions, do you? wey u come dey drag dem together with Derby? ![]() |
See me see trouble with this manu fans trying to degrade adjectives. Whats next, fletcher is a world beater? ![]() Scholes is a very good player, and is not inthe ranks of the great one. Scholes a great player statement like that could get you shot in your sleep by a 20yr old girl friend ![]() |
tkb417:Fight if you wan fight, but there is no way I will let anyone compare Scholes to the likes of Maradona or Zidane. Those are great players. |
Paul Scholes was a central midfielder(stop this AM DM AMF football manager has inscribed in your brain).
so you dont see the difference between Kaka, Xavi, Makelele? ![]() Anyways, suit your self. Then you have just confirmed you are a goat!!!Zidane, Viera and Rivaldo |
Eastbay:Obviously you didnt watch the match. The success of ManU in 1999 was more to their never die team spirit and not the individual brilliance of anyone on the pitch. Outstanding performances in the semis were from Beckham, Keane and Cole. Where was Scholes when ManU needed an injury time equalizer from giggs at old trafford? where was he when they went two goals down in 11 mins. It was keane that sparked the comeback with the first goal, same as his own sent killed their spirit a year later. Even in the final, ManU were outplayed by Bayern, with Super Mario missing several chances to put the game away. Dont come here and spew nonsense based on simply looking at images of the trophy. |
tkb417:You are the one shifting the goal post. You want to accept the words of Zidane and then disregard thos of pele? I never said pele's list was the criterion for world class classification. Please see my definition above, instead of simply running of your fan boi mouth. Paul Scholes is not a world class player. Get over it. |
So where was Scholes between 1999 and 2003 in the world?
Nowhere. Classify scholes (AM, CM, DM?) and I would name 5 player better than him in that era So did Scholes. . . . . .Dont insult the game by comparing scholes to the like sof Makele. Scholes never shit on Zidane or the boys from barcelona. He wasnt even the best player in the 1999 squad. |
Dr Kitaun:So why should I disregard the comments of Pele and accept that of Zidane? If you feel that Maldini is in the same caliber as scholes, then you have obviously lost your mind. Maldini is the greatest defend of the modern era, and you dare compare him to a fish pond tadpole like scholes ![]() You must be watching games on a black/white TV. |

Are u a goat?I never said wenger groomed him. there is a difference between spotting and grooming! |
Dr Kitaun:He didnt make the list for FIFA 100, Pelé's choice of the greatest living footballers, does that make him lesser than the people on the list? ![]() |

We'll pay them great salaries, we just won't pay more than they're worth just to sign them. That's our principle.
