bolof2010: hello all, please has anyone tried to pay for BA flight ticket usingg naira master card since BA Charges in USD. I need to know if GTB used official rate before i do anything. BA online tickets seems really okay Yes you can but Gtbank will charge you at black market rate for the day.Don't forget the $1000 monthly limit as well. |
Travel › Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 3 by Bisoye82: 9:47am On Mar 22, 2016 |
ChicMalkia: Hello, all you need do is book the ticket and choose "pay at bank" option. It holds for 72 hours during which you go to GTB with all your necessary documents and mklake payment. That's the process I have been using for years to buy BA tickets so I guess it still functions that way. That's no longer possible on BA naija website.you can only book on hold with customer service which I believe is handled by Indians. thereafter you go and pay at the bank. |

girlloom: Okay house, after reading all the comments I decided to ask my sister inlaw about the SSN. I went to her that I was worried that his card came without an envelope and got a shocker...she said what do I want to use the envelope for? I said SSN is private information and why was it opened, she said they opened it because they could. I lost it and told her respect was reciprocal and it was wrong. She turned it into fight and asked me to leave her house. The husband came and intervened that they held on to it because it was delicate, dumbest reason ever. Unfortunately, my husband is scared of his sister and not saying much. I am so mad right now, I never wanted to stay with his family but didn't have a better option. Just looking to get his visa and return home asap Bros JW wake up o because I dey behind u before o Ha this mata has become salt combined with fart inside person mouth o |

girlloom: Hello all, please I need help. Okay, I understand ssn should be delivered to the address provided 2 weeks or so after birth. It happened that I didn't receive my son's as at a month afterwards so I felt it actually got missing and was going to request for another. I also mentioned this to my host and they agreed it was probably missing and I should forget about it as there was no need need for the number. At 7 weeks after, I decided to apply for his passport and there was a part on the application form where they requested for ssn, so I told my host that I would be going to the social security office to request for a new one. He then asked to see where the number was requested on the form so I showed him. Surprisingly, my host told me I shouldn't bother that the ss card would be delivered that day and he was very certain. At 8pm that day, he handed me my son's card lnot looking new with no envelope and his ssn exposed. Why would he open a mail that was clearly addressed to my son? I couldn't even say anything because he is my sis inlaw's husband and don't want to come across as rude. Now I suspect my son's card has been used fraudulently for tax claims. Please is it possible to block the number from being used? May I add that my host is now suddenly over protective of his mailbox. I believe there are letters he is receiving that he doesn't want me to see. Abeg there is no other name for your host than Ole buruku . Now I don't know the relationship between you and your sister in law,use wisdom to find out if she is in on it.if Yes contact the relevant authorities and report the situation. If No,see if she can handle the hubby and tell him to back off. You too quickly arrange yourself and come back home (hope sey no medical issues o) @ 7 weeks is a long tin cos dollar ain't smiling Cheers |

funtolash: @ LadyGuinivere am sorry if my message came out wrongly but that was not my intention. I felt insulted by your response cos if you read through my first message I did mention that pls forgive if my question sounds silly.
Ive read more than 100 pages of each of part 1&2. I even have jottings and screenshots of some cbp interviews so am just wondering why anyone wld think ive not read jack. I fear the name calling in this forum o. @bisoye82, name calling and insulting me, really. I wonder what that will do for you.
So apologies to everyone. I was stupid to have asked the questions. So lets move on to the next best thing. On this note, apology accepted. I can count on my fingers the people I love and respect because they earned it and I will never standby and watch anybody disrespect them. On a normal day,I see questions like yours and ignore because the first page on the thread tackles 95% of all the information you need to baby's documentation sef. You only read further to get rates and reviews that fits within your budget and send pm to veterans to get info about logistics in relation to accommodation, transport, nearest good and price friendly stores to do your shopping, etc @Modath thanks my darling . |

piscesgem: Good day everyone...my sister's EDD was on 11/03/16, she went for antenatal same day, Dr said she was going to be induced on tuesday 15th after which if that fails its CS, because of fear of CS she didnt go on that tuesday, and has not given birth, though my mum and other sis told her they do pass their EDD and even the extra 2weeks before delivery, is their anything to fear here? Or what to do.she is a FTM. Anticipating ur good advice She ran from antenatal because she's scared of induction/CS 1)Who told her Vaginal delivery is a stroll in the park when some senior mamas be rolling on the floor and jumping on the bed 2)She should go and do scan straight away to check the amniotic fluid (if it's adequate) baby heart beat/rate and it's general well being. 3)Take the scan result to her doctor and ask questions like on what basis are his recommendations and tell him her fears. All the best |

[quote author=HumbledbYGrace Experiencing something called pelvic girdle pain and they told me its normal at the clinic when I begged them for pain killers, I felt like strangling someone mxm. The pain is out of this world and I am just wondering if I will be able to push my LO out from down there when its even hard for me to get out of bed to go to the loo at night and hubby has to carry me all the time. Anyone experiencing itchy palms? This pregnancy is one of a kind that has isolated me from people because I complain of this and that all the time and our African people believe that you shouldn't rest especially now so that the baby won't sleep when its due. There's this Lady who cleans our flat and always calls me lazy whenever we meet downstairs. She always insist I use the stairs, and will shout it loud to hubby that he is spoiling me blah blah. Just thank God for Google, this man has stopped comparing my pregnancy to that of other ladies and gladly offer advise to those who call me lazy. When we go for ANC, trust my hubby to be the one couching other ladies and comforting them as he would share what he has to go through with me on daily basis.
Well madam we are in the same boat o.Nice to meet you. In terms of PGP mine started at 7 months, like you said the pain makes you want to slap somebody cos the pain radiates from the upper thigh straight to the brain and I hate drugs;first episode hubby drove me straight to the hospital,dr says it's normal because d babies are gaining weight now and prescribed paracetamol, piriton to relax/help me sleep and another tablet to prevent contractions.I didn't touch any of the drugs but took a warm bath, hijack all the pillows in d house, apply Forever Aloe Heat Lotion in that region and on my forehead, within 10mins the headache stopped. But from that day no more long walks,no lifting anything bigger than a plate of food ,no unnecessary standing, limited driving,no bending, once I go downstairs in the mrn I only climb upstairs when its bedtime. Also check YouTube for exercises that helps relieve the pain. 2)Itching- uhmmm I will itch my hands, thighs, legs to the point where it will be swollen and red .I had to switch to Aveeno daily moisturising (24 hr) and in the evening when d feeling comes again I top up with Forever Aloe Gelly till now o.Dr prescribed calamine lotion but I refused to use it cos it reminds me of my childhood chicken pox nightmare Good luck |
