Hello all, I have been a silent reader and follower of this thread and I thank everybody for what this thread is today. I am a September mom to be and so far I have been taking notes. My issue is that of refund/cancellation of an Airfrance ticket I bought in March 2015, it's a round trip premium economy class for 5. We couldn't use the second leg of the ticket due to my my kids school being in session so I called the travel agent that booked to get a refund so we can top up and get another round trip. The agent called me today to tell me that Air France has credited my family with 65k for each person. And that what was refunded is only for tax paid. This is a ticket we bought for almost 4million Naira round trip. Pls is this the norm. Air France has refused to act because it's through an agent. What do I do?
My dear, your answer is in your question o.you bought your tickets from an AGENT.
AirFrance/KLM/Delta they detest customers buying from agents o.As a Flying Blue member if I buy cheap tickets from agent I don't bother trying to change dates/upgrade because when you call their CS line to do such, something go just off in their brain and their standard answer is call your AGENT chikena.God now help you,you now miss a connecting flight(if you bought direct from them they will put on the next one leaving without much stress)but if na thru Agent they will just say am Sorry ,you are paying blah blah. cry.just collect your change like that o.Sorry kiss

I thought that updating the first page with more info will stop people from recycling the same Dr, hospital and requesting for contact details of the same Drs here but I was wrong.

I will help out...don't bother asking or dropping contact details of Drs or hospitals here because I will remove it as soon I set my eyes on it.

Please use this website http://hcahealthcare.com/pricing-financing/ to spread your search for hospitals else the over used/patronised ones will keep increasing their prices.

Thank you.

Huggies little snugglers are slightly more expensive, softer and are of higher quality,it also has d wetness indicator strip as oppose to snug and dry which is not as soft.ds used snugglers till 4months or so without issues however every poop was a blow out with snug and dry,i finally settled with little movers,we haven't had any leaks,i guess movers are for older kids tho not sure,IMO they all do the job and if @all there is a difference it's insignificant, just try to stock up on bigger sizes as they grow out of them fast.
As for me with my last baby, the best was Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive Diaper,no issues at all unfortunately it stops at size 4 and had to switch to Huggies little movers and for about 2 weeks she cried because of nappy rash that occurred as a result of the switch but Aquaphor baby ointment and Aveeno nappy rash resolved that. This time around i intend to go the same route smiley

People tend to be generous when sharing their nonsense, fear and ignorance.
And while they seem quite eager to feed you their negativity, please remember that sometimes the diet we need to be on is a spiritual and emotional one.
Be cautious with what you feed your mind and soul.Fuel yourself with positivity and let that fuel propel you into positive action. (Dr Steve Maraboli)

Good morning wonderful people...Pls all the flights am getting seem to be landing at night in el paso...make una no vex bt Mexico near that place so small fear dey catch me. So pls for frequent flyers to el paso..what flight is best for the trip. Finally I just need a bit of clarification on the notary document being mentioned here. Cos my husband isn't travelling with me.
Tanks guys
Babe you gotta read from page 1 of this thread(part 3),some ladies said they stayed at a hotel close to the airport that allows them to check in at night, then moved to the accommodation they booked initially the next day
2)I believe it's the embassy notarised one that's been used in Elpaso but kindly click on posts of mummies that used Elpaso to be sure.

I'm am afraid of being deported or getting stranded in the Us. Delta is charging 95k for change and penalty, what do you advise please?

Hold a copy of your itinerary and passport. Go to Stanbic H/O as they open at 8am.ask for Mr Femi and explain ur situation, trust me if they are selling he will assist you.
Ignore the noise of the market about tribe and dressing,
manner of approach and speech is important thou, and don't take No for an answer.
All the best.

So here is my POE gist.
I give all praise and glory to God for his goodness and favour.(Man proposes God disposes)
I flew with BA from Lagos, travelled at 32wks+, fit to fly was only asked for at check in not in the plane,
Customs didn't stress me at all, they said ha big belle be going o grin
Got to London at 5am but the wheel chair assistance I requested for didn't show but I still have small energy so I walked to the General lounge, sat, dozed, charge phone, had breakfast while waiting for my flight to JFK scheduled for 10am but gate unknown. (to be displayed at 9am)
At 8:45am info displayed on screen changed to flight delays to 12noon. huh
I waddled to BA counter to confirm,BA said it's AA that's flying me so I should go talk to them, I said bros na BA collect money for my hand na what's all this passing me around. He said sorry maam but I can't access the full info here, it's AA pple that will do that.
Got to AA counter, the hot chick there collect my ticket, check the system said uhmm due to the delay you are going to miss your connecting flight to CMH,the earliest you will get to your final destination is midnight shocked embarassed
But I can reroute you through Charlotte NC(new POE instead of JFK) and you will get to CMH by 6pm and the flight leaves in 45mins.I said go ahead but I need the wheel chair assistance, she organised everything sharply, printed new itinerary for me,called the boarding gate cheesy
Na so I board plane to Charlotte o (in all my travels I have never passed thru here),flight wasn't full, had 4 seats to myself, ate, slept, watch film. 1 hour before landing,I pick my Command the morning and started praying.
Landed safely, was wheeled straight to the front.
CBP:Hello
Me:Hi
Cbp:why are you here
Me:To have my baby( note: I was seated,my handbag was on my lap and he couldn't see that am pregnant so I could have lied and say vacation and be done but my spirit says be honest, you have prayed)
Cbp:Why (his face changed)
Me: Healthcare is better here
Cbp:Did you inform the embassy
Me: No but I did drop box, so no interview and I sent an email.
Cbp:Gave me a green tag, held my passport and sent me to secondary inspection.
Got there, there was a queue,a woman came and directed that I should taken to a room but before I got to the door, my name was called by another officer.
Wheeled to him,you said you want to have your baby here.
Me:Yes
Officer:Why
Me:Better healthcare.
Officer:You had a baby here in 20..
Me:Yes
Officer:Did you pay for it?
Me:Yes
Officer:Do you have proof?
Me; Yes.(note: I have a whole envelope with copies of receipts from hospital, obgyn, paediatrician, epidural, pic taken of her at birth at hospital, most recent pic taken 2 weeks ago, copies of data page of her green and blue passport)
Officer:smiles and said I can see you are well prepared.
Checked everything.Where is she? She looks cheeky.
Me:She is back home with her dad because of school.
Officer:Are they coming later
Me:Yes.next month
Officer:Ok.when is your due date?
Me:xxxxx
Officer:Ok.In case of complications,am just saying and you need more than 6 months make sure you contact xyz so that you won't have issues renewing your visa ok.
Congratulations.
All these happened within 20 mins.Had 1 luggage with orisirisi inside, declared that I have food but didn't specify, scan my luggage and he said bye.
Sorry for the long story grin
