Rather, see what likes best and does well; say like complex maths, electronics or computer, arts -poetry;music or painting or any other thing (even if it does not please you, so to speak) then find an after school private lesson teacher to him nature that passion.

Make a reward system for him; for example, give him a deal -if he brushes his teeth without being reminded for straight 2weeks, you would take him to an art exhibition (if he's a lover of art) or go to an orchestra event (if he likes music)..you know, things like that?

Lastly on my list and most importantly, don't get fed up, don't give up on your son - YOU ARE A MOTHER. Keep praying for him and direction from the Holy Spirit if you're a Christian or be positive minded.
