The window contractor is currently installing the window sub-frames that will eventually take on the fabricated windows. This is to ensure a neat and tidy job especially to avoid the cement/sand mix mess of plastering.

Its been raining for like 2 days now and the swimming pool is flooded a bit at the deep end. Iron reinforcement has been temporarily suspended so we can pump out the water.

Marquee floor tiling currently ongoing, the sand/cement bed mixture has to be properly laid and plumb to get a even level all through.

The fabrication of the steel roof trusses has been completed and we are waiting for the casting of the roof slab to be done so they can be hoisted up and fixed in place.

Ongoing carpentary formwork and reinforcement work on the roof gutter slab on the 2nd floor.

Pool deck blockwork completed, now to backfill and make surface ready for light concrete casting bed to receive the pool deck tiles.

Finally, a preview of the proposed mix residential development, this is still a rough draft, it hasn't been rendered yet.Also, it will still be reviewed so there is likely going to be changes and alterations before project construction starts.

Fabrication of the steel roof trusses is in progress and also its being painted/sprayed with red oxide.

I am back in Ogbomosho, got here on the 18 of July but have been bogged down by work and reports.

Work on the swimming pool deck has commenced, the excavation and blinding of the deck wall has been done already and we will start the blockwork ASAP. Levels have been taken all around to ensure we have the same surface level when we are done with the pool deck.

Tiling of the marquee floor has commenced. We are going to fix electrical floor sockets at designated position for ease of use later.

Iron reinforcement work has commenced in the swimming pool after the conclusion of the floor blinding. Getting ready for the casting of the pool wall.

We have commenced the floor blinding of the swimming pool to get the floor shape out before the iron reinforcement work starts.

The plank formwork has been removed from the columns casted and this is what the perimeter wall looks like now.

We are preping right now to start the main building construction.

Casting of the roof slab/parapet.

Iron reinforcement work on the roof slab for the second floor in progress. We used 16mm rebar for the beams and hidden beams and used 12mm rebar for the slab mat with spacing interval at 250mm.

The electrical contractor is also laying the conduit pipes for light wiring.

Getting the perfect circular curve is one of the outstanding beauty of this pool and achieving that was quite easy using basic radius positioning.

Back on site on the 28th of June, much has been accomplished and more to be done. We have completed the following finishing work albeit
1. Ceiling installation
2. Doors installation
3. Windows installation
4. Tiles installation for all the ancilliary structures

What we have outstanding is
1. Tiles installation for the marquee,
2. interlocking blocks for the compound
3. Electrical fittings (sockets and switches)
4. Electrical fittings
5. Painting - internal and external
6. Landscaping
7. CCTv installation
8. Power installation ( PHCN and generator backup)

Work on the swimming construction has also started. Ongoing is the foundation footing excavation and floorin for the pool blockwork.

Blockwork on the 2nd floor now at lintel level, we are making preparation to cast the roof beam and slab that will carry the roofing carcass.

We are using steel for the roof carcass and long span aluminium for the roof cladding.
