Well I look forward to how the PBAT will act to this threat from a faceless group.
Gov. Fubara has not learnt from history that even former POBJ would laugh at this threat and issue strict warnings to the State Governor.
The law through the court will take it's course and all those who are seeking sentiments should do away with it.
If Gov. Fubara is trying to paint the Federal Judiciary black and trying to blackmail them the he should also know that that same finger he is using for such is tainted with oil and also pointing to the Rivers State judiciary and they are all same people and there is no way Gov. Fubara will say he is a saint.
Wike has said if you get a good lawyer then it's as good as a checkmate.
Let Gov. Fubara adhere to the rule of law otherwsie the Niger Delta waters will be filled with military invasion.
Also let the know that those given pipeline surveillance contract who are from the Niger Delta would be told to ensure proper security on the pipelines and ensure anyone found to destroy our natural resources should face the whole weight of the law.

It's quite misleading to claim that someone earning a salary between 300k and 500k is poor.

Truth for Governors is if you can't pay minimum wage, economy of your state will just collapse.

Why would this be necessary? Wasn't there a scope of work agreed to and signed by both parties? In saner climes, if the contracted job did not meet specifications, you went to court.



Why? Are there no standard terms and conditions that govern payment for work delivered by milestones? How do you pay 100% for a job that hasn't been done?



So the only time the government carries out its mandated duties to the people who elected it is when they have been personally "touched"? What does the education department do with its budget?



In more serious countries, this commissioner would have tended his resignation on the spot, or the governor would have demanded it. The commissioner not only lied, he could not be trusted to carry out a simple task and required the governor to supervise him/her?



This is silly and inefficient. What is the point of hiring commissioners when the governor personally has to meet with contractors to do work they legally agreed to?



Governance is not about the person, but about service. How roads, schools, and other infrastructure get built and maintained should not be based on how the governor wants to be perceived. It should simply be standard.

What if the next governor isn't "somebody who has to do with figures"? There would not be an expectation of value for money?

I'm not sure the governor even listens to his comments.

Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara has expressed dissatisfaction with the job at the ongoing remodeling of Okrika Grammar School, saying there must be value for every money spent in projects across the State.

Gov. Fubara disclosed this while briefing newsmen shortly after inspection of the Okrika Grammar School, Okrika in Okrika Local Government Area on Monday.

"We are here this evening to inspect the ongoing remodeling of one of the foremost grammar schools in Rivers State that produced a good number of great men that are making waves in politics and other special disciplines in the State."

The governor noted his administration was touched by the very deplorable state of the foremost school and decided to give it a facelift and since the award of contract for the remodelling he has not visited the project but relied on the reports of the Commissioner for Education.

"My assessment, to be very frank, I am not satisfied. The Commissioner gave me the impression that 70% job has been done. From what I am seeing here I need to take over the supervision of this project to make sure I give my people a standard grammar school again."

He decried the slow pace of work and pointed out that the government has paid 100% of the contract sum but work on ground did not reflect the money paid, adding that he is taking over the supervision of the project to ensure quality delivery to the people.

Gov. Fubara emphasised that he will be meeting with the various contractors within the week to read out the riot act on handling the jobs to them, stressing that his administration will not compromise quality and value for money.

"I understand the issue of price differences, we can discuss those variations but the quality must match the amount that we spend. You know I am somebody who has to do with figures, so there must be value for money. At the end, our people need to be happy that we have done this and I also need to be happy that I did what is needed for our people."

Is this what he is calling remodeling in Rivers State? Gov. Fubara needs to learn from about model structures for educational institutions built by former Gov. CRA and up his game.
It's interesting to also note that this is one of his appointee commissioner as screened by his 3 HA members who is has being lying to him about the pace of work that is physical in nature. Good enough we won't be hearing people say it's Wike's appointments and that's why they don't want Fubara to excel.

In 2022 Rivers United defeated Al Nasr Benghazi 5-0 in Nigeria and then flew to Benghazi for the second leg of their CAF Confederation Cup tie.

They got to Libya, but the Libyans had not provided any security or means of transportation for them. They had to hire buses to take them to their hotel.

According to the above it means a contract of such magnitude was awarded to a contractor who did not know what he was involved in and he did not realize that he could not deliver.


An oil blending plant has no refining capability but can be used to blend re-refined oil (a used motor oil that has been treated to remove dirt, fuel, and water) with additives to create finished lubricant products

The above clearly tells us that they don't know what other story to say concerning the TAM because there's no timeline to completion. They have agreed to do something they considered new in order to keep the flow of funds waste into the facility.
