BeeBeeOoh:Well I look forward to how the PBAT will act to this threat from a faceless group. Gov. Fubara has not learnt from history that even former POBJ would laugh at this threat and issue strict warnings to the State Governor. The law through the court will take it's course and all those who are seeking sentiments should do away with it. If Gov. Fubara is trying to paint the Federal Judiciary black and trying to blackmail them the he should also know that that same finger he is using for such is tainted with oil and also pointing to the Rivers State judiciary and they are all same people and there is no way Gov. Fubara will say he is a saint. Wike has said if you get a good lawyer then it's as good as a checkmate. Let Gov. Fubara adhere to the rule of law otherwsie the Niger Delta waters will be filled with military invasion. Also let the know that those given pipeline surveillance contract who are from the Niger Delta would be told to ensure proper security on the pipelines and ensure anyone found to destroy our natural resources should face the whole weight of the law. |
symbianDON:Only a Nigerian respond to a question with a question. Thank you. |
SoftSport:Decent standard of living in Lagos or elsewhere. Please mention the place in Lagos to be specific and fix amount of monies on how such money will be spent on a monthly basis for a family of just 3. Note that all things has to be standard like our counterpart in Europe and the USA. Thanks. |
nairalanda1:Only Nigerians respond question with question. Good. |
Ebubu2:It depends on what you call State economy because some States don't have any form of economy. Payment of salaries is the only intelligent thing many governors do. I find it even funny and kind of a plan that many of the South South States are paying 80k same amount their Northern counterparts are paying!!!!! |
nairalanda1:The already fees been charged by the so called universities what does the VC do with those funds? We have not heard that the institution use those internal generated funds for anything meaningful. |
Omooba77:It's unfortunate that no name was mentioned as to the nass member who raised the motion.... Imagine asking what benchmark was used as appraisal for the ministers appointment!!!! Like the nass members themselves have any meaningful benchmark used as appraisal for them to be voted for and to remain in that green chamber. People who collect presidential rice meant for their constituents and repackage for themselves. People who still do our pit latrine toilet as constituency projects. People who buy wheelbarrow for their constituents. People who marry widows to widower and give them 150k to start business in this modern era. People who cannot ensure that the bills they pass have meaningful positive impact on their constituents. Castigating the minister because you approved the billion funds for projects but you all failed to ask him what are his plans for maintenance and repair of existing roads.... Shame on you all hypocrites. |
Ikaeniyan0:Of course there has been hunger in the land even before the amalgamation of the North and South. But if this hunger the land is seeing now was what made Tinubu, Atiku, Saraki and all those at that time who claimed to be progressives to protest against the administration of PGEJ and bring about change of government then one can't imagine why would PBAT deny others to protest against this level of hunger he has created in the land!!!!! The hunger created by PGEJ dey learn for where PBAT hunger dey come from and it's not yet complete. Irrespective of exchange rate... Imagine spaghetti is +1000 naira... Ordinary fowl egg has gone up to 250 naira... Custard of rice is now 10,000 naira.... Cup of beans is now 600 naira Custard of garri is now 3000 naira and some places 2700 naira. You can't imagine the seeds/pieces of fresh pepper to buy for 200 naira..... Fresh fish head(ice fish) is now been sold like chicken legs in the market.... T-pain will be well remembered. |
Glimpsetv:I did not watch the video but there's nothing satanic about he trying to use the Holy Bible to buttress his point is quite misleading and out of place for him to even call the lady the subject of the man(Lord). There's no place the Scripture called a lady in courtship or even a wife to a man a subject. This alone is a twisting of the scripture and indeed satanic. Many persons actually don't think for themselves even when they read. God did not create man to Lord over his wife. Many can say but Sarah called Abraham her husband, Lord. But you should be mindful not to take it out of context because if Abraham is Lord over Sarah as many would want to take it out of context then it's not the subjects' duty to tell her Lord to take a second wife. Lord Abraham does not need his subjects permission to do anything how much to take another wife and bear a child. |
iwaeda:Nonsense sets of people. Are they shutting down because of the high price of fuel or low consumption by consumers or depleted capital? Which exactly is it because it can't be all three of it except they are clearly mischievous....... I wonder why they are going to meet PBAT for such funds did they not have insurance in their business against such and what have they been doing with their profits over the years? What happened to those of them who we were told have stopped carrying petrol and diesel and have converted their trucks to carry gas? |
TWoods:I'm not sure the governor even listens to his comments. |
press9jatv:Is this what he is calling remodeling in Rivers State? Gov. Fubara needs to learn from about model structures for educational institutions built by former Gov. CRA and up his game. It's interesting to also note that this is one of his appointee commissioner as screened by his 3 HA members who is has being lying to him about the pace of work that is physical in nature. Good enough we won't be hearing people say it's Wike's appointments and that's why they don't want Fubara to excel. |
NOETHNICITY:PBAT should be the first person to have CNG in his official vehicle, same for the first lady and their children. Also recommend for all Federal Legislators and Ministers. Then Nigerians will know that he means well for us |
fergie001:All these things are nonsense.... Does Bala Mohammed knows and understands what it means to be a nationalist? Since he became Governor what has been his contribution to those in the South and West? You want Wike to behave matured but you all have refused to behave matured that many of you abandoned the PDP and the PGEJ admnisration because you all wanted a northern president of which you all worked against your own party the PDP. Now you all have returned after where you went did not favour you , you did not remember that time, that maturity needed to be a trait becoming of a nationalist and statesman. |
Daejumong:I leave you with this questions and I hope you get to answer them.... (1)Are you sure you're a Christian? (2) What's make you believe you're one and what is your conviction? (3) How long were you single before you got married? (4) Were you faithful to Christ Jesus in your single years and did you maintain abstinence from every form of sexual activities? (5) Whether traditional marriage, church marriage, marriage blessing, court marriage at the registry, amongst the blessings offered you and the oaths of marriage you made was there anything regarding the use of sexual toys to be used in the absence of your husband mentioned by you or anyone who officiated the ceremony? |
naptu2:I won't be surprised that just as we are complaining about how Libya treated our players badly thats how the Libyans will be telling their people on social media how Nigerians treated them badly as well..... But in all of these what has CAF as an institution done about all these issues and what did the Nigerian government do as well to ensure it does not continue? |
Ikinternational:Is it not that same dumb comparison that's always made that electricity should not be cheap because it's expensive in the US, petrol should not be cheap in Nigeria because it's also expensive in USA, but when it's comes to raising minimum wage to living wage as it is in the USA, we are now told of inflation, etc, etc, etc......which is even more dumb. |
nairalanda1:I disagree. If the military really wants to catch him they will catch him but the military heads won't do that because if they do money will stop coming into their accounts. Moreso the North does not easily give out intelligence reports of their people to the government unlke other regions. Is it not this same country that some highly placed northerners considered people like be left alive and that killing him and his kind is a threat to the fulanis. |
Sultanofpiglets:If your kit and kin had cherished Biafra then we would still be practicing regional system of government and there would be no such thing as a war between the Nigerian military and Biafran military because Ojukwu the then Administrator Governor General of the Eastern Region refused to adhere to the advice of his kinsman and an Elder of that matter in the person of Late Pa Zik. You see how a little advice not adhered to led to the loss of lives and properties. That is how this same advice not adhered to led Kanu to be instigating people and many are killed and he is now in prison and now Ekpa has continued to send his foot soldiers to enforce sit at home and those who refused pay with their blood. When he is not caught someday we will hear people shouting for his release. Some times I believe God placed us in the regions that we are now knowing fully well what the future is. Imagine the East is where the entire Niger Delta States are, you can't even think what would be happening in the open sea and ocean how much more the land.... Same thing with those bandits and terrorist in the North. |
CodeTemplarr:Let them benefit. There's time for everything. |
OLAADEGBU:This in and out of prison has really affected Sowore. |
Islie:The best thing PBAT should do about everything concerning this NNPC is to completely sack everyone and shut it down including the Minister for Petroleum, be it oil or gas. These politicians have overfed. Its high time a sickle is plunged into their bellies. |
Islie:A source said the engineering, procurement, and construction contractor has been unable to fully revamp the refinery “due to obsolescence, corrosion, lack of baseline data for structural integrity verifications” and the absence of “as-built data to help engineers draw on the history of the facility”. According to documents seen by TheCable, one of the options available to the national oil company is to retrofit the refinery into a blending plant According to the above it means a contract of such magnitude was awarded to a contractor who did not know what he was involved in and he did not realize that he could not deliver. An oil blending plant has no refining capability but can be used to blend re-refined oil (a used motor oil that has been treated to remove dirt, fuel, and water) with additives to create finished lubricant products The above clearly tells us that they don't know what other story to say concerning the TAM because there's no timeline to completion. They have agreed to do something they considered new in order to keep the flow of funds waste into the facility. All these clearly shows the Military era was better. Every Nigerian asset built, functional and operational during Military reign the so called political class who claim they fought for democracy have swollewed them all. This people need to be treated same way corrupt politicians are handled in some Asian countries. |
Man102:Imagine a serving senator being worried about a cabinet reshuffle and saying the President is not being fair to the Igbos all in the name of federal character. Since 1999 till date and of all the Igbos who had gotten ministerial appointments, how many has actually brought the dividends of democracy and true development to their region or individual States!!!! A senator and his regional kinsmen who have refused to bring an end the evils done by those who have used sit at home order to destroy lives and property. You can imagine the entire 5 Eastern governors can't come together and bring an end to it just as their counterparts in the North likewise have refused to do same. These are definitely not politicians who have their own at heart. You'll think when the speak they speak the truth but it's web of deceit. |

So those who are complaining are not real Abians? Imagine what you're typing all in the name of politics. Real Abians indeed are the ones complaining. May these real Abians who are elsewhere in other States not complain when the real indigenous people do same as well. |
ccollins:You did not address the subject topic rather you have started harnessing trouble where there is none? You should have told us that Gov. Otti did not renege on his promises to pay the pensioners their entitlements? Don't you think it's an unnecessary lie for anyone to say that pensioners have waived their entitlements? This is so great magnitude of fraud to be done. |
Atuero:Do you think PBAT or the Presidency understands what he meant by 3 convoy with 4 security detail of three police men and one DSS officer for Ministers? |
Christistruth00:What an interesting trait if it's true..... |
Fortruth:You amuse many of us with the bolded.... I wonder how the children of his second in command during the war would feel reading this.. |
aariwa:So those Ministers who are performing where did they get theirs from? |
naptu2:The same Nigerians who would remain in Nigeria and sing high praise to Trump and vote for him online irrespective of his character faults politically will do speak ill of Wike... So much for double standards and hypocrisy. |
olatade:It is good he buys everyone but if his buying everyone does not translate into transforming the economy into what it ought to be then their compromise will not work on the lot of those who are not yet on their side. The excuse of giving him another tenure to accomplish his best selling self styled leadership will be met with utmost resistance same way he did against PGEJ admnisration that he refused to give a second tenure. So let his selling points be visible and touchable by a greater population greater than that of the administration of PGEJ he protested and ensured was out of Aso Rock. |
