Tayorshd87:Today they are telling you to buy at 200, have you also ask yourself for how long will it remain so and who will make it remain so? Why has the Presidential fleet of cars and that of PBAT and VP Shettima and that of all the National Assembly members, Federal Ministers, all Federal Permanent Secretaries and Directors, the NSA, etc, etc, etc made to be using CNG? |
Chekwume16:Nobody betrayed PO but he did that to himself. He felt the masses will vote for him and he turned himself into a lone ranger even within the LP. These so called money he keeps doling out to gratify people like he is a thorough breed philanthropist should have been used to mobilize unit polling agents all over the nation but both him and LP did masarati and he went to court with little or nothing tangible other than to ride on sentiments. I still find it funny and disinteresting that you can't actually point to anyone who had worked with him when he was as govenror for 8 years who are still valuable in the Nigerian politics or who will walk with him openly. |
adenigga:PBAT is very much unserious and not in tune with economic realities. He even lacks understanding of a working economy and how to go about it. Many of those around him don't know otherwise. If this is how PBAT will be effing up may he and his family and many of those in his admnisration and cabinet not happen to Nigeria come 2027 elections. I will volunteer myself as a unit poll agent to any political party that will bring a presidential aspirant and running mate that will be able to kick him out of Aso Rock and also kick his likes out of the National Assembly. We the masses have to start recalling home some of these notorious Senators for doing nothing significant. |
babasolution:He will build and everything is in stages. While you are criticizing the FCT Minister, please what exactly is the role of that Hon. Senator or the FCT who happens to be doing nothing? I'm sure if not for her hatred and dislike of the FCT Minister she is even the one who claimed to be nearer to the common masses that is supposed to point those low grey areas to the Minister to also consider doing something and providing the necessary or little infrastructure to boost the area but she has refused to do the needful. Certainly she serves her pride and not the common masses who voted her if she continues the way she is. |
JAOS:If the FG can do this to cooking gas why have they refused to do same for the petrol from Dangote refinery? Or they just want to strong arm the LPG sellers? How many people are using gas compared to the use of petrol which is been used by all of us be it directly or indirectly whereas the issues with LPG is just directly and has no indirect multiplier effect. |
Menclothing1:The Federal government can only do that within the FCT and not in the various States. |
Teetee777:(Modify) Please what is the current price for melon/egusi and beans and i hope we are now in harvest season and hope the prices have come down? I hope now is the best time to buy and store? |
shariff84:Please what is the current price for melon/egusi and beans and i hope we are now in harvest season and hope the prices have come down? I hope now is the best time to buy and store? |
GOFRONT:Yes, he is the Federal Minister of FCT-Abuja so everything he does will be there. You forgot to mention that he created the FCT Civil Service Commission as well and appointed Permanent Secretaries in the Commission. Are you also aware that FCT staffs also have their salaries upgraded even before your respective States' governors have done theirs. I guess because of your dislike and hatred for him you'll not see any good in that. |
Blessedman98:You can call it all you want but Wike is known for projects and projects he will keep executing and getting them finished within each stipulated time line. All those who want to gives bribes as you have quoted should do their projects as well. |
iwaeda:When you see posts like this just know that it's been sponsored by the administration to take blame of it's hands and to make it look like they are on the right track. The world bank is a shitty bank and and can never help any third world nation. Why can't the world bank advice the Nigerian government to fix their four refineries, steel company, put a stop to gas flaring and invest in use same for power generation, harness coal and use same for power generation as well in the areas it's found in large commercial quantities, etc, etc |
PheelzAlmighty:Was there no peace and order in the East Kanu before Kanu started inciting people through radio Biafra from far away foreign country? I guess he did not think it will get as bad is it is? I just believe the East are not yet ready to solve their issue. Even PO has bluntly refused to speak against such. It just tells us politicians will always be who and what they are. The is no difference. |
Zonefree:How can you decipher what entirely does not exist if you understand what I mean? They are not there as members to stop them from within but to make them go ahead with their devious plans so that they can be properly eliminated. |
nairalanda1:The profit that they make is it from the supply of bad or no electricity not supplied or it's from the actual services rendered to customers who need their services? |
nairalanda1:How much does the government pay you monthly? Or you're among those overseas who have to work multiple jobs to be able to keep up their lifestyle? |
nairalanda1:Please go and find out how much the villagers in Bonny Island pay for such while using same good supply of electricity via their prepaid meters. Thank you. |
helinues:Let the government cut their excesses and leys see how it will go. If you like continue to speak in favour of the government, there are those who did same in the former admnisration and there will be more that will do so in the next. Keep doing what you're paid to do if you feel that's what will change the country. If the country can't be changed in 3 years and no tangible thing then this admnisration is not wise and never had any good intentions for not giving PGEJ the time to continue with his works. |
nairalanda1:Some things can cost money and can also be worthless. |
nairalanda1:Sarcasm. Like a 100 year old London Statesman whiskey... |
nairalanda1:I guess those modern drainage with better taxes will be built in the sky? |
JASONjnr:To whose advantage is a regional system of government? Where States are still underdeveloped is it in regional system that things will change? You still want to put criminal minded fellows in one bedroom and give them power? Some states that are nothing good to even talk about much less to write about!!!! |
Man102:I heard somewhere that the respective SG went into agreement with the FG to give them a 3 month window of grace and I think that window from the time the judgment was elapses October or November ending then all LG allocations will go into the LG accounts. But if for any other reason other than that except they want to say that the amendment of the constitution has to come first concerning the full autonomy of LGC then it's a welcome idea. Nevertheless it's about time the judiciary starts revisiting certain judicial judgment and make turnarounds. |
Afonja44:Everything spoken here is a proof that Orji Kalu is lying and PBAT has lost toych with the streets. Nobody walks the streets in the night to see people suffering rather you'll see people merrying. I don't think PBAT reads newspaper anymore because if he does he would know better that that anger that made him and others go on protest against the PGEJ admnisration is now running over the cup and much more. |

We all know that it's not good for both the President and Vice President to be out of the country same time. It just shows that they lack good administrative qualities. Nevertheless with the points raised by PO, I don't see how the Vice President will put in policies that will lower the price of petrol or food prices for the next 30 days if he were even to stay in Aso villa a d neither can the President do same. So let them enjoy their travels. |
IfnobeGod20:I want to believe you know the meaning of affidavit. Take time and read it all over again and again. It is good you raised the issue of your school certificate getting burnt in fire. Let's start from there. An original first school leaving certificate or any other is a true testament of someone's result. Now in the absence of especially the reason you highlighted. You are supposed to go to the primary school board and request for a statement of result (certified copy) and afterwards you'll take it and go to the court and get an affidavit stating your intention and purpose. That affidavit stands as a supporting document to the statement of result(certificate copy) in place of original certificate. I hope you understand. So whatever meaning people give to it is all left to them. Anyways let's wait what the court judge will say if that is before them. It will be easy for many of us to go get affidavit making claims to properties that don't belong to us just because we have access to them. |
Dapromzy333:It just came rolling in when Gov. Fubara said something in a public function where Senate President Akpabio was and Akpabio responded by saying what got many of us laughing. Gov. Fubara seems to have forgotten that it was because of him that Gov. Wike used allegations and police to arrest a serving Senator of the Federal House and that Senator was in cell abi na prison for some time before he was left free by the court. It's this same court that Gov. Fubara is preaching to that was used to arrest that Senator and it's the same Rivers State High Court judge who issue that. |
Wisdomkosi:Never blame stupidity for being stupid. Imagine a Minister saying their decisions are yielding investments! Does it really translate to revenues? Ordinary stoppage of fuel subsidy the government claimed to have come to an end and said it has saved the country some trillions but the trillions is no where to be found!!! The same NNPC is even owing several trillions of naira. I so wished some of this people will be dealt with in their villages by their people when they visit . |
Islie:I don't believe this story because it's just full of old lady's tales. Pa Bode should tell those of us on what basis PBAT sent his CoS to go beg Pa Bode and what did Pa Bode request in return that the Cos should tell PBAT that would make him not go on self exile? Because I just see it like Pa Bode is not sincere on this issue of begging!!! Let it not be like the begging that Gov. Fubara of Rivers State said he has knelt down numerous times to beg Wike and Wike has countered that statement and said if he came to beg then what was the offense that he came to beg him for!!!! |
Kewtt:This Minister needs to be put inside a 10 ft by 10 ft room with no power supply for 30 days then afterwards let me come out and tell Nigerians if there's still improved power supply..... I wonder which kind people are related to such Ministers !!!¡ |
Shawarmagirl:PDP is the founder of lawlessness. Even Late President Yar adua can attest to it. So you know what it means for a President to say the election that brought him into office is questionable.. POBJ is the leader of lawlessness in Nigeria. Is it not the EFFC formed during POBJ tenure that 16 govenrors are in court now against them.... |
Oluboh:What are we to applaud the 16 governors for when it's just for themselves they are fighting it's constitutionality. |
Kukutenla:I think you are being misled by what the LGA allowed ignorantly to be practiced by the Governors and making the LG depend on the SG. You need to take time and study all the federal constitution, the State Constitution and the Local Government constitution and see where they have been getting it wrong. Just because it was never written in the constitution that the LG is autonomous does not make it one. Then of what purpose is it written that it's a third tier government. Or was it also writrn in the constitution that the State government is autonomous. Common sense makea one to understand it. It's like the constitution says there are three arms of government, the executive, legislative and judiciary and these three are independent and interdependent depending on their respective functions an dduties to ensure that the system of governance is run smooth. But while they will always say the judiciary and even legislative are independent we all know that is not the case because in Nigeria. The love for money has always been the root of all evils. Of what importance of putting in the constitution verbatim and plainly that a governor has immunity if not for ways to evade corruption. Or is the USA constitution says that the President and Governors have full immunity and will not be subject to investigation till they complete their tenure in office!!!!! Or do we not know that upon taking an oath of office, there is some kind of immunity given one but it's limited and not this scam sham being arranged and share by all of them in Nigeria. Is it not because of Yaya Bello that some States have gathered together to take the FG to court under the guise that the act bringing EFCC is not done rightly!!!! The monies these SGs are going to spend in resolving this in court why did they not do same in ensuring that they put up good institutions that will make people be held accountable while in office. |
