The vote wasn't an actual referendum vote on itself, rather it was a principality election in which a pro Catalonian party beat others. However, 52% of Catalonians were opposed to them which if we're to use the elections as a yardstick shows a split within the population. So until Madrid allows an actual vote on the referendum itself, there's no new country of Catalonia yet. |
When the voices in OP's head starts manifesting hate sentiments unto itself, it's when you'll see such people coming online to write nonsense. #paranoia ![]() I'm Nigerian and don't hate Igbos. |
SLIDEwaxie:Isn't Kabba yoruba? You can't just jump on to claim they're not just to prove a point. |
Interesting topic. Common sense should apply. Just like you won't wear heavy gold chains, iPhone 6s and zanotti shoes flaunting up and down a rough area. I'll expect same measure in other things we do. However, some with even the minimal amount of fashion gear still managed to get robbed. I think the reason for women getting angry at rape issues is because it mostly gets narrowed down to a level of victim blaming of what they wore. Which is untrue cos most victims were more likely to be decently dressed and mostly fell victims to rapists anyway. Now let's agree most of the 'what you wore brigade' were wrong, however it looks like most feminists want to seize on this aspect of dressing on what to wear or not to do as they please which to an extent is overreaching. The same way I'll frown at my fellow man dressing irrationally is the same I'll extend to a lady.Rape aside, all this feminist right to be naked movement is just bullshit. Beyonce prances around half naked for views and money while page 3 girls are put on blast for appearing topless. Both do it for money; the former is also considered a feminist also. |
No one bothered to stone this debtor when he went to the mosque too? |
Just like the billions expended on power and still worse. Nigeria is a like a country where politicians excavate increasingly expanding money sinkholes '. The Lagos train cabs are also about 20 years old yet manages to cost more than another with shorter distance and brand new trains. 1999 - 2015, despite monumental funds we have just meagre basic amenities yet some are here willing to fight tooth and nail for those who sit on their future. |
The Bible didn't say man and woman were created on separate days. Man and woman were created same day. Everything was created in six days and rested on the seventh. Where did you get your half baked Biblical analogy from? It's not how you start, but how you finish. Some men come backed by Bank of mum and dad, earlier opportunities, etc, others will eventually have to struggle a while until they 'get made' In all, Just remember that other scripture about the 'wise woman building her home...'(Pro 14:1) |
Tinubu supporters! Shior!! Don't forget to tell your descendants you were solidly behind them the thief of bourdillon who looted significant sums of the nation's for himself. |
Oyibo on lastma motorbike makes front page. Are they a royal species of Man who are not to be seen or ride on motorbikes ? |
More likely to be a robber, killer or so but telling me an Iranian sponsored network is behind boko haram is just clueless. You'd need to have very shallow knowledge of world affairs to believe that quote. |
TonyeBarcanista:Where did I mention PDP withdrew the case? PDP was a despicable cesspit organisation who had no serious intention to tackle corruption. They had their time in power, almost nothing tangible on that front. Same party also pardoned Alams...so engrossed in looting they forgot to prosecute even their enemies when they put so many foots wrong. Both parties are as useless as the next. For now it is Saraki to get nailed, tomorrow if the useless PDP or any considerable new party comes in and does not nail any remaining wanted person in APC previously left unpunished, it's their call. |
One day we would get to a state where our different arms of Government would be truly independent and answerable only to the law and the citizens. Sylva may be sitting pretty now but his time too would come. PDP unfortunately was damn useless and so much flew by them when they had the opportunity to nail thieves. I don't care for all these politicians, the 'enemies of the citizens' can keep on fighting themselves and exposing each other. It's good for the citizens. Let them fight each other and throw themselves in prison or whatnot. Eventually, a state of equilibrium would soon reach where everyone wanting to delve into politics would be more concerned about doing the right thing in office than plotting to rinse the country at the tiniest opportunity. |
I find he should rather keep mum until Saraki is found guilty and then jailed. Least now, there's kind of a belief there's no sacred cows. The grandfather of corruption (Tinubu)meanwhile I'm hoping he too gets his punishment here on earth for robbing the living daylight out of the population. It may not happen now, probably would in the future. But I'll be praying for him to eventually end up where he belongs. I only have the interest of the nation and would not kowtow to another man born of a woman to support them even if they shared my bloodline. |
CSTR2:Exception for Japan with very high IQ and very wealthy. Others still trail in the wealth stakes if we were to compare how wealthy they're in relation to their IQ. Their high IQ has not shown them leading others too, China, Hong Kong and South Korea especially whilst being super brilliant have not exceeded the West whom they surpass in intelligence stakes. India on its own is just a mixed bag. Like I said, academic results can't be used alone. It boils down to other factors. Interestingly if IQ was to be measured for Africans based in Africa, it'll be likely lower. Besides some of the most brilliant Asian countries got colonised by 'less intelligent' countries. How did it happen? Anyway, hats doffed to the singled out 'Igbos' high achievers; grades and athletism combined. |
I think a lot of factors come into play here. Environmental, social and pool of population to select from. I'll be willing to know what the score is for populations in Nigeria rather than from immigrants. High IQ of some Asian nations has not translated into them becoming the most prosperous, wealthiest countries versus countries they've regularly outperformed. And besides this paper quotes high IQ purely on academic scores and not shown to be actually tested. |
Quite a lot of people clamouring for a glorified thieving, scheming, state heist/lottery con man who ripped off millions collectively from his state and the bank he once oversaw. If he goes Scot free. It'll lay the precedent for the next decades of how other 'corrupticians'would be able to circumvent justice due to a spineless judiciary! |
Some of the money for ours got diverted and or the price exaggerated. |
Interesting! I'll sit by and watch legal luminaries with their argument and counter arguments. |
119 embassies are quite a bit. |
How does a trial for Saraki equal to '(Buhari) setting himself up for impeachment?' Learners like the OP. It'll be better off to sit out the event like most of us are doing and watch than to log your chain Bbm/whatsapp messages onto the world wide Web as reality. |
What an insolent statement! Pilfering thieves up and down rubbing each other on their backs and trying to play off to the gallery. I don't care if he was the best or worst governor or not... |
Every sane human should hate ISIS. Every sane human should also hate lying bloggers. Nuff said! |
Easier said than done. There's a gap in the market for such items, hence why alaba exists. The dynamics and population of Lagos ensures that it remains a profitable venue. Moving to an area where similar markets are established and saturated is just... Every business seeks to increase their pool of customers/clients not limit it by carting off to where there's lesser opportunities or increased competition. If indeed there's a relocation, the axiom of 'nature abhors a vacuum' would come into play. Others would quickly move in to fill in that void. |
99.9% tax remittance is impossible even in the most advanced societies. VAT is a good start to increase taxes. |
Quite serious. EFCC is the recommended agency to start getting this resolved. You should move fast to nail him! |
Cut through the middle where there's no pattern. Separate the skin from the muscles, dry it out and go on to sell it. |
Nigerian Bloggers lie than the devil... That's from an old fight. |
Vado:Ah...right. Never knew that... |
Let them link up with NTA. Call him 'NTA Senate' or something. Besides, first lady could barely give a convincing description of her job role. |
Here's a criminal asking why he was sent to jail...albeit released prematurely. Thieving ex governor that still can't board an international flight. |
Nowt wrong in asking her age. You may need to know if she's a minor or if she's younger or older than you. Bit dicey asking the second one. You'd have to be really close or involved with the lady to ask... |
donigspain:To make it easier, search for openbionics. com Easier to contact them and discuss that way. |
