Was there ever pipe borne water in Festac ever since the FG abandoned FHA?

Most always got their water from Singer or other private arrangements. Not heard anything bout the water tables corrupted neither. Least our boreholes runs fine.
PhonesRe: Great App For Watching Live Matches (android) by BlackBaron: 8:20pm On Dec 27, 2012
Wilfem: @Blackbaron,
You've still not helped me with my request. I asked of how or which stream can I watch live football matches on navi-x. I eventually bought it from Google play. Thanks.
There are numerous channels on navi x. Try the aljazeera stream.

Besides what phone do you use? navi x is a bit temperamental sometimes so I use xbmc with navi x plug in instead.

This is ALJsport moments ago...

PhonesRe: Great App For Watching Live Matches (android) by BlackBaron:
Some links may not work due to cat and mouse games with sports tv broadcasters but there is something always available to watch.

Don't forget to save links to 'favourites' as its easier to find than scrolling all the time.

PhonesRe: Great App For Watching Live Matches (android) by BlackBaron:
Please note this method may require high end phones, may involve risk to your phone and otherwise. The Xbmc application is currently still at beta phase therefore may be unstable.

To assess other free tv options. I use XBMC for android. It’s free to download from http://xbmc.org/download/
Two versions available for the brave hearted (Nightly builds); Neon and tegra 2

Also download ‘navi x’ plug-in the form of a zip format. (Do not open the zip folder) Navi X can be found https://code.google.com/p/navi-x/downloads/list . Put this zip in a path of your choice for you’ll need it later.

Now boot up Xbmc and on the main page, scroll to ‘System’. Click on ‘Add-ons’ → ‘Install from zip file’ and select the file path for the navi x zip and click ok.

With that done, go back to ProgramsProgram Add-onsNavi X.

Variety of options available to choose from; Navi-Xtreme Media Portal →Most viewed 24 hours → select any media content of your choice. From movie streams, children’s movies to live tv channels.

Besides you can watch just about anything; digital channels, movies, music et al.

Note: data intensive. Would recommend unlimited data plans. 100mb would last just about 10 minutes or less.
PoliticsRe: Chinua Achebe: A Biafran In Nigerian Clothes - By Muhammad Jameel Yusha’u by BlackBaron: 3:12pm On Dec 27, 2012
joeyfire: You are missing the point. Nobody is saying that Nzeogwu is from an ethnic group native to the north. The man came from okpanam but was born up north and was a kaduna man through and through, accepted by people from that place as one of them and buried with full honour in kaduna during the war.

Ojukwu got nowhere near nzeogwu with regard to acceptance by the northerners unless I am not getting your point
My point is Nzeogwu knew where his allegiance lay irrespective of his supposed affiliations with the north.

What is the criteria for a 'northerner through and through' considering Ojukwu and Nzeogwu had very similar background, spoke hausa and igbo fluently and fought on the same side during the civil war?

His burial in Kaduna was more as a result of Gowon's directive rather than the implicit desire of his family or the wishes of northerners.
PoliticsRe: Chinua Achebe: A Biafran In Nigerian Clothes - By Muhammad Jameel Yusha’u by BlackBaron: 10:55am On Dec 27, 2012
joeyfire: I have to disagree with you there bro. Nzeogwu was almost every bit a northerner save for his midwest heritage. Let's not forget that he carried out his own assassination in 1966 supported by northern troops, was mourned by his northern colleagues in the army when he died and was given a hero's burial in kaduna when he died. Ojukwu was just born in the north, schooled in lagos and uk.
That is an emphatic calumny to try to deny his parentage. Last time I checked Nzeogwu also schooled in the UK, if you want to use that to excise him.

Besides, Nzeogwu also fought in the biafran war yet you say he was a northerner but Ojukwu wasn't?
PoliticsRe: Chinua Achebe: A Biafran In Nigerian Clothes - By Muhammad Jameel Yusha’u by BlackBaron: 12:42am On Dec 27, 2012
I got nothing against Achebe's person but It's very difficult for anyone with an unbiased mind not to notice the inherent bits of propaganda.

Alluding Nzeogwu to be a northerner due to place of birth whilst conveniently regarding Ojukwu as igbo even though the latter was also born in the north was just plainly moving the goalpost of integrity in my opinion. Also wasn't Ojukwu was acknowledged to speak hausa quite fluently yet...

PoliticsRe: Why Is Prof Achebe's Name On NL Hall Of Shame? by BlackBaron: 9:39pm On Dec 23, 2012
berem: I have never heard Nairaland being mentioned on TV or Radio.I never read about it on nigerian dailies.why because it is a forum where the owner has made it a place to promote ethnic bigotry. Too Bad!! What a shame!
Pot calling kettle black. shocked
Nothing grates me more when I see accursed bigots from the same enclave as your irredeemable adversaries spewing bullshites, yet painting others black. Ain't you among the same clique of damaged buffoons who revel in degrading other ethnic groups. Yet quick to call out others for a crime in which you an active collaborator.
SMDH.

Nowt against Achebe, he's entitled to his opinion. Surely doesn't deserve to be in the hall of shame for all I care.

Only in Nigeria would an ex-governor float an airline (Albarka air) after office. It's still baffling how a then Colonel could afford such.

Same goes for his successor Tinunbu who has not only outdone others but also slowly pocketing the whole
SW into his pockets.

You na never suffer reach o. Lets just keep voting looters and lunatics into power.

PoliticsRe: Edo Citizens now to pay TAX on their houses by BlackBaron: 4:13am On Dec 09, 2012
Sounds good.

Nigerians are usually averse to any form of taxes, moaning and grovelling till kingdom come. Yet they crave infrastructures.

Saying that, I would like to think they should be set on a sort of band tax system with the most valuable properties paying the highest...of course taking income into consideration too as some may be renting.

4llerbuntu: but i can move applications on my own samsung phones and it works perfectly

for data files they get stored on the internal storage marked as sdcard.

if you want to have them on your external micro sdcard, there is actually a minor tweak that switches the mount points and mounts the microsd as the sdcard and the internal one as external. search about it on google, its a well known minor hack, u just edit a file.

i never paid it any attention because i never had any use for it!!

as far as i know, unless i don't understand what you are saying, your complaints is a non-issue esp for a person on a custom rom
That hack is a bit of a trade off. I think you'll instead you'll end up with a single memory partition.
I still gotta seek advice cos you and others are the android masters here.

4llerbuntu: perhaps you should explain what samsung has to do with apps2sd.

is that a samsung application?

are those things supported on ICS and jellybean by the way?
Simply put, Samsung has mothballed the app2sd functionality on their latest devices.

My internal memory is now labelled as SD Card whilst external memory is extSD card. When trying to move apps, the app2sd fails with an error message as it can't locate 'phone'(internal memory) and move to sd. The story is Google is trying to make manufacturers ditch sd cards 'as they are less secure?' or something about storing data on clouds.

Only option is to install Gls to sd; this can only move data files to ext sd card but not apps.

Anyone can file any motion if they so wish BUT doesn't mean the case has merit.

Except in extenuating cases (insert here) this case is open to exploitation; gold digging and all.

Even if you decide to sue, you should prolly check if there are grounds on which to sue. This law got repealed in some countries as far back as the 19XX's

Bottom line is all these practices are uncivilised and barbaric
