PoliticsRe: How Wealthy (Rich) Is Bola Ahmed Tinubu? by BlackBaron: 11:01pm On Sep 06, 2012
Got to say I have a massive distrust of Nigerian politicians. Mine is how did he manage to float a private airline after his tenure. Same comes to mind with defunct albarka air.

PoliticsRe: Patience Jonathan Diagnosed With Ruptured Appendicitis by BlackBaron: 2:24pm On Sep 05, 2012
You got to ask 'are there no decent hospitals in Nigeria in the first place?'

Running the nation aground, gyrating in their palaces and then you forget to invest in hospitals...

Inspite of all, I wish her well and hope she comes back alive and hearty.

FLIPBOARD!! the end!
Aah I see.

Flipboard is the bomb! Though I reckon its also data heavy.

Jethrovich: from my friends . HTC, the temporary memory takes a whole lot of space ans when he empties it, it frees up the memory be in talking about the memory card.

so are you saying if he uses up that free memory he got from emptying his temporary files, he would not have the required space to run? Because at times, the temporary memory gets as high as 4Gig.

what I know is that whenever he empties it, it gives his phone more memory to utilize.

Like au said before, if I add all what I have, it doesn't equate and the difference is just way too much
Dude. Android apps requires a bit of RAM (space) to be able to execute commands. Temp. memory is not a problem and its independent of your phone storage or SD card memory. If it does bother you so much, get 'App cache cleaner' from play store. It 'uncaches' non system apps and frees up space for your android.

Closest to that are 'anti-theft' apps which can locate stolen phones by gps, wipe off data, lockdown, take pics and other features.

Any file manager should do. I use ES file explorer or Adao file manager to change file names or extensions.

Agree with most you said. However I do think both sexes are vulnerable as the other.

Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, househelps et al are complicit in this.
My own view is do protect your children equally. Male or female.
Pity the society is yet to take child molestation cases seriously.

Wonder why the FG is not looking into cutting their own excesses too.

PhonesRe: Android, Anyone? Part II by BlackBaron: 11:41am On Sep 01, 2012
Do understand your point. Had an epiphany time ago. Only use it for the odd 'pulled' Google play apps or test any expensive app worth buying. Besides, loads of app on sale today at just $0.99, that's #135 I think.
PhonesRe: Android, Anyone? Part II by BlackBaron: 11:15pm On Aug 31, 2012
puskin: Too expensive.. grin grin...
Lol. Keep that name on the down-low. FBI's started shutting black market, applanet, appbucket and snappzmarket got the treatment last week.

Only use it to test apps before I commit.

My favourite is camera360. Lots of filters, features and free too. I'll check free version and see if worth downloading.
4llerbuntu: Found a decent camera application called HDR+

did not quite get what was gwan with the thing at first but apparently that thing is taking crazy pictures with my 8MP camera. really good quality.

it takes three shots in quick succession at different exposures and rates and combines them on the fly within 5 secs to produce a very very high quality picture with superb clarity as in WOW!!

i no fit upload sample pic here but i can tell you its worth a trial.

Play store is your daddy for this bad boy! im using the paid version so..........

about $4 only!! grin

TravelRe: London Metropolitan University's Visa-Licence Revoked by BlackBaron: 9:07am On Aug 31, 2012
Stay away from UK universities.
One of the ConDem's objective is to cut down immigration to tens of thousands. Their major target is student visas.

Look elsewhere - Canada,US et al. The UK is just not 'it' anymore when it comes to university education.
PoliticsRe: Tribute To African Military by BlackBaron: 11:41pm On Aug 30, 2012
Jheez, it seems English ain't your first language buddy. Clearly quoted your pic caption and the immediate pic as mistakes where you'd wrongfully labelled them as Cameroonian soldiers rather than NA.
If you don't understand English. Do continue learning some more else you're making a fool of yourself arguing over your own error.

I'm out.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Secret Police Details Leaked!!! by BlackBaron: 4:18pm On Aug 30, 2012
Omo Alata: It's happened in the UK before. Top Secret documents were found in a bin. The NHS also lost a disc containing sensitive information of millions of people etc etc. They decided to send it through regular post instead of couriering it or at least sending it special delivery.

God will help us all smiley
Tis is on a different scale. Imagine the uproar if Al-qaeda, Hezbolla or Real IRA exposed the personal details of MI-6/CIA employees/agents on the world wide web for all to see.

Serious security breach!

Bunch of reprobrate minds.
Couldn't care less. It doesn't affect me at all. Yabbing my tribe wouldn't remove any iota of positive virtue from me. In real life, you'll even get bored trying to pick fights with me cos I just wouldn't give you the attention you desire.
The atmosphere might be a bit toxic for some though.

Tis fights mostly revolves around a clique of hateful damaged users with their demented alter-egos on both sides.
However, one can't rule out the plausiblity of a warped demented person seeking revenge for 'words said in cyberspace.'

Besides, your airforce got nothing on Nigeria.
Though at the end of the day, our inventories are rubbish compared to others-Algeria, Egypt and SA.
