If you need to root your android phones, you ought to tread carefully and know there are huge risks involved. Any wrong turn and you'll 'brick' your phone. Unless you can get someone to reflash stock firmware, your phone is as useful as a brick. For simple step by step guides, head over to xda forums and read over the one specific to your device. If need be memorise every step and weigh the different root options specific to yours. Rooting is done at your own risk and no man, dog or fly would be held responsible if anything goes wrong. |

So many Nigerians running for other countries. Seen quite a few. |

ThanksDude I'm not in Nigeria. Send an email if you need help and I promise to reply. Bout a data plan, ask around or something. A guy called Leopantro may be able to help or ask on other threads. BoboYekini: hahaha,,this is sooo funny!!Lol. Quite a few are puzzled by such terms. Funniest was when a man told me he paid a guy in computer village #5000 for every app on his iPad. I had to excuse myself and go laugh out loud in a closet out of respect. ![]() Purpose of this thread is just to help those not up to scratch with technical, complex stuff we discuss on the other android thread and maybe recommend the odd android apps in between. |
What rubbish! Halve the disgusting $1.4 million salary of the 360 strong House of Reps and you get $180 million. Cut, snip and trim other exorbitant public officials pay and you get a guaranteed $200 million. At this rate, these peeps are mortgaging the future of the next generation. |
As always some graduates are showing they don't deserve to be called graduates. In the West, degree holders work at McDonalds, retail shops and all. It doesn't mean they have to do it forever unless your ambition is to stick to that. Heck the job you wilfully disparage on here pays more than retail jobs abroad. A vocational job plumbing, mechanics and all certainly pays more than an equivalent part time or non degree jobs abroad. Go figure! So you'd rather sit on your asses, watch tv and whatever shite you do... |
It doesn't augur well for GEJ. Tis akin to Obama's aide standing surety for a fraud suspect. The furore alone from the opposition and media would be unfettered. |
Mafia4life: Is there no app that can cut and convert audio format on andriod phones? I can remember one on symbian " Audiocube "A file converter will do just about anything including multiple audio formats MP3, OGG, WAV, WMA, AAC, FLAC, M4A, or MMF. Bout cutting, trimming or slicing, HTC phones come with this features, if not get 'MP3' cutter from the play store. |
Chitexs250: pls explain what u mean by SD card pls...An sd card is a memory card that allows you store videos, pictures, games, documents et al on your mobile phone. Comes in different formats and sizes from 125Megabyte(MB)- 64Gigabytes(GB). The bigger the size, the more contents you can store on your phone. Note GB is bigger than MB. IOS devices however use a form of inbuilt memory but without the option of a memory card slot hence memory can not be expanded i.e a 32GB iphone can only store 32gb worth of data and can never be expanded to 64GB when full whilst eg the galaxy SIII can be expanded because it has a memory card slot. Effectively once your iphone memory is full you either delete a few items or just stick with it. Chitexs250: ... weUnless you want to watch videos, listen to music already stored on your sd card you don't need an internet connection. However to watch live tv, you need to have an internet connection because the files are not stored on your phone rather being streamed over the internet to your own phone. I hope all is clear now.
stream on sdcard as how.....WOW 39.3mb I'll need wifi for that
Since your memory is local ie contents are on your phone SD card, you don't need WiFi to view your video contents or whatnot. |

Some cocck and bull story. Tis is what unemployment is turning our youths into... ![]() |
N64oid and Mupen64 are meant to be the best out there. I'm using the former. Runs almost all roms you throw at them. Imma download and upload screenshots of those games later. brianromel: What nintendo 64 emulator are you using on your phone. And will the normal 64 roms work on it...There are places far better than that andropalace you mentioned. |
brianromel: Sorry is that mario 64 on that pick, what ram size is your table or phone.Indeed that's Mario 64. RAM size is 1gb with a 32gb memory card. Phone was Desire HD. Ozegbe: all these android apps do they work on both the phone and tablet? or are there different version to use when downloading for ur tablet or phone. Most should work seamlessly on both tablets and phones. However once in a while, there might be the odd few issues with incompatible apps due to fragmentation. As long as you download from Google play, you'll always be presented with the one suited to your device. |
Beaf: Sadly, there is a lot of truth in what David Mark is saying. That's a bit rich coming from you! Beaf: Its entertaining, seeing you lie so forcefully! Lolz!Hypocrite! Did your twin write this ?^^^ |
It's one thing to stop a car. It's another to counter a bomb with a deadly blast radius which includes shrapnels and all. Maybe in tandem with other devices, it would make for an effective counter measure. Anyway why is that called a 'Robot'? ![]() |
Why undertake such grand exorbitance in the face of austerity, yet Ngozi keeps saying the nation is broke. Why not procure cheaper stately cars from Peugeot or Innoson. Worst is at the end, this would be shared amongst the top hierarchy of government in exchange for a pittance |
Dead Trigger is now free! Citing unbelievably high rates of piracy on android, the impressive zombie shooter has now being made available for all Meanwhile I don repent since o ![]() |
Not the only made in Nigeria tablet I know of, but kudos to him getting a recognition from the media. Only grouse here is price point, numerous branded and oem manufacturers on or above par out there with lower prices than 'Inye' - ainol, nexus 7 et al. Good luck to the dude though. |
Imagine what that colossal amount of investment would have done to our economy over the past few decades? |
£13tn: hoard hidden from taxman by global elite A global super-rich elite has exploited gaps in cross-border tax rules to hide an extraordinary £13 trillion ($21tn) of wealth offshore – as much as the American and Japanese GDPs put together – according to research commissioned by the campaign group Tax Justice Network. James Henry, former chief economist at consultancy McKinsey and an expert on tax havens, has compiled the most detailed estimates yet of the size of the offshore economy in a new report, The Price of Offshore Revisited, released exclusively to the Observer. He shows that at least £13tn – perhaps up to £20tn – has leaked out of scores of countries into secretive jurisdictions such as Switzerland and the Cayman Islands with the help of private banks, which vie to attract the assets of so-called high net-worth individuals. Their wealth is, as Henry puts it, "protected by a highly paid, industrious bevy of professional enablers in the private banking, legal, accounting and investment industries taking advantage of the increasingly borderless, frictionless global economy". According to Henry's research, the top 10 private banks, which include UBS and Credit Suisse in Switzerland, as well as the US investment bank Goldman Sachs, managed more than £4tn in 2010, a sharp rise from £1.5tn five years earlier. The detailed analysis in the report, compiled using data from a range of sources, including the Bank of International Settlements and the International Monetary Fund, suggests that for many developing countries the cumulative value of the capital that has flowed out of their economies since the 1970s would be more than enough to pay off their debts to the rest of the world. Oil-rich states with an internationally mobile elite have been especially prone to watching their wealth disappear into offshore bank accounts instead of being invested at home, the research suggests. Once the returns on investing the hidden assets is included, almost £500bn has left Russia since the early 1990s when its economy was opened up. Saudi Arabia has seen £197bn flood out since the mid-1970s, and Nigeria £196bn. ... Source: http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2012/jul/21/global-elite-tax-offshore-economy |
This drug is should not be miscontrued as a licence to be careless. A 30% chance is still risky that's 3 in 10 are still likely to be infected. Any unlucky person that falls into that unfortunate infected demographic would be subjected to living with an incurable virus till death. |

CAMEROONPRIDE: you are the typical Nigerian who only like anglophone...SmoothCriminal is not Nigerian. The first aftershock after joinng would be the typical Nigerian invasion. Truckloads of tens of thousands of Nigerian with their ECOWAS passports smiling gleefully and demanding free unrestricted access to Cameroon. |
Country of billionaire Generals and Senators. Militants pay packet greater than entire health budget allocation for 150 million people. President's food bill is #1billion a year. *Sigh* |
And there we have it. The Nigerians would huff and puff without succour whilst the indifferent political class continues to trample on law and fairplay. |
