Education / Re: UNIBEN Matriculates 12,241 Students Out Of 50,555 For 2020/21 Academic Session by BlackFlamefromP: 7:55am On Aug 12, 2021 |
Well, the right question should be 'must everyone go to University?' You see, it's not a must for everyone to go to university but everyone MUST go to school at least to a level that would enable him be able to read and write and be fluent in the official language of his country (that is, speak good English). In this modern age, not being able to, at least read and write is worse than being blind because there would be so many things you won't be able to do or understand by yourself; somebody must always be there to explain things to you and guide you and some dishonest people would take advantage of your illiteracy to cheat or scam you! So my friend, good education remains the best legacy parents can give to their children. okuta007: |

LOL. Immediately I noticed that the leader of the group is Leo Igwe I just knew the headline is misleading. Leo Igwe is a well-known atheist and humanist who doesn't believe in anything 'supernatural'. So the name of the of the group ' Advocacy for Alleged Witches' indicates that the group is just a humanitarian organisation seeking justice for, and trying to protect the right, of people accused of being 'witches' by some fools. It doesn't mean the members of the group are witches as the headline mischievously try to portray 1 Like |

Politics / Re: Hushpuppi: Why Police May Not Release Kyari To FBI by BlackFlamefromP: 10:05pm On Aug 01, 2021 |
Oga, let's always be reasoning correctly. Sunday igboho and Kanu are Nigerians who committed offences in Nigeria AGAINST NIGERIAN STATE! So the Federal Government of Nigeria has every right to treat them in any way that is necessary for the good, unity and stability of the country! This Abba Kyari we are talking about, is he a US citizen? Did he commit offence in the US against US government or any of its citizen? If the answer to the above questions are 'No', what right does US Court or FBI has to order arrest and extradition of a citizen of another country who never committed any crime on American soil or against any American citizen or government? Don't get me wrong, Abba Kyari is evil and must be made to face the full wrath of the law right here in Nigeria as I don't believe the US court and FBI has any right to order his arrest and extradition. When it comes to national issues, let's always try to reason without bringing tribal sentiment to it Built2last: |

Stop fooling yourself Mr. man! There is a difference between merely 'threatening' to break away from Nigeria and actually engaging in activities, campaigns and rallies meant to gather support and mobilize people to work against the interest and sovereignty of the nation with the ultimate aim of disintegrating the nation. 9jah: 2 Likes 1 Share |

I know people like you intentionally choose to distort facts and deceive yourself and fool others too in the process. I just have to make this clarification for the sake of intelligent people who may not know the fact: Soldiers did not go looking for Kanu just for fun. The court that tried KANU gave him some conditions he must abide while on bail; but kanu, being a snake that he is, practically violated all the bail condition. Some of the conditions for his bail were: — Mr. Kanu must not hold rallies. — He must not grant interviews. — He must not be in a crowd of more than 10 people. — He must provide the court with reports on the progress of his health and treatment on a monthly basis. — The order for him to deposit his Nigerian and British passports also mean he cannot travel out of the country. Kanu violated all these conditions. The court had to revoke his bail and order for his arrest which is why the soldiers went after him. Get your facts straight young man! ArcSEMPECJ: 1 Like |

That mindset of Gowon was the foundation of economic problems Nigeria is facing today! That period Gowon made that comment was the perfect time to lay solid foundation for the prosperity of this nation (because of the oil boom), but alas, Nigeria was not blessed with intelligent, selfless, visionary leaders who could see ahead and plan ahead. They are not fake bro. You are using a wrong word. They are man-made or man-induced. I am very proud of the people of Dubai. They show you what human brain is capable of if well developed and constructively used. These people have been able to produce for themselves what nature could not give them. And that is a big lesson not only for other nations of the world but also for individuals who feel inadequate in one way or the other. KingAzari: 1 Like |

Although your points make a lot of sense but it's hard for me not to believe the girl has been deeply into serious malpractices. Looking at her face and her dressing she look like somebody who is irresponsible and can't be serious with her studies. What message was she trying to pass by wearing such shirt at such important occasion? What kind of impression was she trying to make on younger ones who may be looking up to her? And what about the image of the university that was at stake here? The punishment given to her may be harsh but I believe she deserve it. She brought it upon herself. seunH: |
Politics / Re: Interpol Arrested Sunday Igboho & His Wife Ropo In Benin Republic — Lawyer by BlackFlamefromP: 7:23pm On Jul 20, 2021 |
People like you are the primary problem of this country because of your tendency to twist and distort reality and facts, deceive yourself and mislead other with your myopic reasoning. 'Hausa-Fulanis' as an ethnic group have no power to arrest anyone. It is the Federal government of Nigeria that is arresting all these subversive elements bent on distabilizing and breaking up the nation. Listen young man, even if the president of Nigeria were a Yoruba man, he would make sure Igboho is arrested and jailed! If the president were an Igbo man, he would make sure Nnamdi Kanu is arrested and jailed. No president can allow any subversive element to distabilize and break up the country even if the person is his family member. Get that into your skull young man and stop being myopic! [s]Racoon: |

The bolded comment of yours answers your question. You don't use 'every means' to do something in a sovereign country. You must operate within the law. On your second paragraph, which law did Nigeria break exactly? The sovereignty and concern for unity and stability of Nigeria is superior to any law or interest of any entity. No other law or interest is greater than Nigeria's sovereignty and unity. ajl: |
Politics / Re: Nnamdi Kanu: There Is Not Going To Be Any Trial - Alloy Ejimako by BlackFlamefromP: 3:17pm On Jul 18, 2021 |
So, kanu, a well known separatist and fugitive decided to set up an illegal security outfit bearing illegal arms in a sovereign nation under the pretext of defending and protecting his people and you expect the federal government to just fold its hand and watch! The way most of you reason makes me believe most people lack spiritual and mental integrity and can't reason objectively under all circumstances. You see, there is always a right way of doing things. It's not always enough to have a good intention or good reasons for doing something; things must be done the right way. KANU wanting to 'protect' his people is not a bad idea but did he go about it the right way? Did he ensure he didn't break the law in the process? That's the question? Wanting to protect his people wasn't bad but he needed to make sure he doesn't break the law in the process. By the way, don't forget he was a wanted fugitive and so didn't even have any right to do anything in Nigeria other than to surrender himself to security forces. ZZ22: |
Politics / Re: Nnamdi Kanu: There Is Not Going To Be Any Trial - Alloy Ejimako by BlackFlamefromP: 1:27pm On Jul 18, 2021 |
When you people claim kanu was being kidnapped and claim Nigeria broke international law in 'kidnapping' him you seems to forget that KANU was a wanted fugitive who had a mission of distabilizing and disintegrating a sovereign nation and whose utterances and activities was capable of causing civil war in the country. In the light of the above statement, even if kanu's ancestors were British and he was born a British and never stepped foot on Nigerian soil, as far as his activities were distabilizing Nigeria and he was a big threat to Nigeria's existence, Nigeria has every right to arrest him by any means and bring him to the country to face trial. Nigeria owes no body any explanation as to how a terrorist bent on disintegrating the country was arrested. Even UK has no moral right to question Nigeria considering the fact that it offended Nigeria in the first place, by harbouring a fugitive and allow him to stay on its soil to engage in activities that threaten Nigeria's sovereignty. Physics is a great course for great minds. As a physicist you hold the key to Nigeria's technological breakthrough. You can be an inventor, work in power industry, IT and technology related industry, research institutions, and of course, being a professor of physics is not a bad idea! And lastly, don't forget that Nigeria is a funny country. You can study physics and end up being a bank manager or bank MD! 2 Likes |
