Fellow Nigerians (United Africans), let's be more concerned about what we can do for our country not what our country can do for us. Now let me ask you, what contribution have you made for the development and progress of your country? If you have not done anything to contribute to the development of your country you ought to be ashamed of yourself rather than complaining. PhenomenalAustin: |
Something new is about to happen in Nigeria. The country is about to experience some rebirth. So giving the country a new name is a good idea; after all, even God changed Abram's name to Abraham when He was about to make him a father of many nations. Those who would be an obstacle to this national rebirth in one way or the other will be eliminated. |
Oga stop exhibiting hypocritical idealism here. Only criminals or extremely irresponsible people jump through the fence to enter or leave a premises when there is a main entrance. I can't even imagine a normal human being jumping through the fence of a millitary barrack without fear consequence in this dangerous time Nigeria is going through. I believe the barrack giving this warning is just being nice because they don't even need to give such warning. Any idiot climbing the fence ought to have been shot immediately without warning. We need more youths like her. UGM and terrorists must be brought down! Nigeria MUST BE ONE! |

No. The COAS is not commanding his seniors he is now their senior! He has been elevated to the most senior position. The officers who were his senior previously need to put their ego aside, accept that he is their senior now and work with him for the good of the country. EMXTAN1: |
Nigeria HAS ALREADY CRUSHED AND OUTLIVED all its enemies baba. Built2last: |
Don't worry. I myself have gone to the highest realm of spiritual dimension to wage war against the forces that want to disintegrate this nation. I have defeated and neutralized all of them. Nigeria remains intact no matter what. I know all these things are not ordinary. There are forces working on the mind and emotion of many Nigerians to make them hate their country with passion and want it to collapse. But I have seen that they have already failed. Do you know that even the so-called 'endSARS' protest that you people have been so emotional about wasn't ordinary? On the surface, 'endSARS' protest appeared to be an innocent and 'peaceful' protest against police brutality and for 'betterment' of Nigeria by the youths, but if you looked deeply you would see that some mischievous anti-Nigeria elements were actually using the so-called peaceful protest by 'armless' youths to speedily bring down the country in a way that even terrorism, guerilla warfare or total war would not have been able to achieve! But God pass them! Nigeria had overcome that ploy of the enemies. Even if 99.9% of Nigerians have been brainwashed and manipulated to passionately want the country to break, only one Nigerian who still love this country and believe in its potential will generate a force that will completely neutralize and subdue all anti-Nigeria forces. This country will come out of this stronger. All these crises will bring out the best in our millitary and the police. Nigeria will become greater as a result of all these challenges. I agree to this name change absolutely! And I like that name too and the idea behind it. WE MUST BE ONE BY FIRE, BY FORCE OR THUNDER. We must be one! |
Your thinking is sound to some extent. I still believe Oduduwa Republic would go through much economic hardship as a country even though it has the potential of being more politically stable than Biafran. codemaniacs: |
If the whole south come together to form a country it's possible they can develop fast. But you are assuming that the south will unite after breakaway; the question is, if they can't unite before breakaway what makes you think they will unite after? Fatalveli: |
Which animal is this one? Will you go back to cave now! [s] Jagunlabiodua:[/s] |
The man is absolutely right. But all these shortsighted, stupid youths and even stupid elders won't get it and won't agree. In the whole of SW only Lagos, and may be Ogun state can survive for long without handout from the FG. All other states in the SW are 90%, if not 100% dependent on FG for survival. That's why I always laugh at all these secessionists shouting odua, biafra up and down. Obviously they don't think deeply and objectively. For those of you who like asking whether your ancestors didn't survive before the amalgamation of Nigeria, bear in mind that the system of government practiced at that time was primitive and less expensive, standard of living was simple, primitive and less expensive; and the population was not as high as we have now. so you can't compare the need of that pre-amalgamation era with that of the present generation unless you want to go back to primitive lifestyle and primitive system of government Nigeria can work if we all join hands together to make it work |
I think the Governor is right. You see, a good leader must always learn to listen to the yearnings of his people and grant, or bend to their wishes PROVIDED what they are asking for is not against the law of the land. If many igbo people need a day to be set aside to remember, honour, and mourn their fallen heroes during the biafran war there is absolutely nothing wrong in granting them that. SE governors can set aside May 30 every year (or any day they are okay with) as public holiday for that purpose but people should not be forced to stay at home!; that is where IPOB get it wrong. Those who want to go about their business should be allowed to do so, while those who want to stay home are free to stay home. I notice some people are suggesting the day should be a national public holiday. To me, the reason biafran day must not be a national public holiday is that the idea of Biafra and a desire for Biafra is anti-Nigeria, it's against the interest of Nigeria as a sovereign, united, indivisible entity. So Biafran day should be limited to the region who fought to actualize Biafran and suffered severely for it. I will end this comment with the word of the governor which I believe is very important for igbos to bear in mind: The significance of that day, if set aside, is for each and every one of us to reflect and ask if we should have done things differently. Yes, we were being killed and we were being maltreated but maybe there would have been an alternative. What is done is done and the man who led us said there shouldn’t be a second war and that is where we are,” GOATandYAMtheory: |
You just spoke my mind. Majority of people who obeyed the so-called 'sit-at-home' order didn't do so out of love of IPOB or because they believe in Biafra. They were just being security conscious; they didn't want to be attacked by any 'unknown gunmen' or be caught in a crossfire when soldiers and the bandits engage in gun battle. People should note this Sebastine1994: |
Just because previous politicians made 'beautiful promises' and failed to deliver on those promises doesn't mean politicians shouldn't be making promises again or any politician making 'beautiful promises' will not deliver. You see, Nigerians themselves have always been the problem when it comes to election because they often allow some sentiments like tribe, religion, stupid insistence that the politician must either be an APC or PDP member and some other nonsense, to becloud their sense of judgement. Now, I can bet that during the last presidential election somebody like you didn't even bother doing research on each of the presidential candidate to determine the right person to vote for. You were just carried away by mass emotion and ended up voting for somebody like Buhari. When Woke Soyinka recommended that Nigerians should vote for this Moghalu I went online and did some research on each of those presidential candidates to know which of the candidates has the right personality, mental capacity, international exposure and needed experience to govern Nigeria well; I discovered Kingsley Moghalu was one of the best among them. I also discovered there were at least two other candidates from other political parties outside of PDP and APC that could govern this nation far better than Buhari or Atiku but unfortunate average Nigerians being idiots that they are wouldn't vote for them. Nigerians are the architects of their problems. They deserve the leaders they get. They will get better leaders when they themselves are better humans. EverydayHelpers: |
She is an hero baba. Only a courageous officer could shoot somebody like Sowore. It takes a lot of guts to do that. I am proud of her. gonkin: |
Yes. No more vehicular movement in the SE till further notice. Whoever you are, wherever you are going you must treck with your hands raised up till you get to your destination. Any attempt to lower your hands or put your hand in your pocket you will be shot |
Oh, I get it now! So because of the bitter hatred that you IPOB terrorists has for Governor Hope you decided to assassinate a man you believe 'rigged the primaries' in his fsvour. I hope DSS and the police are taking note of this revelation. coolcharm: |
Ok. I wish una good luck sha. I am still young enough to live to witness how everything will end. The unfortunate thing about the brain of an average unevolved humans like you and your kind is that when your mind is bent on something, and if it happens to suit your sentiment to see thing in a certain way, no matter how stupid, unrealistic and self-destructive it may be, your unevolved brain will always come up with thoughts and fantasies to support your cherished illusion. This is why it's a waste of time to be commenting on this igbo Biafra stuff because fools will never learn or understand until it's too later. When the full consequence of all these nonsense you guys are doing over there dawn on you guys I'm sure you will still distort the facts and come up with another story. Good luck! Igboid: |
LOL. I don't know what you smoke. So In your wildest dream, you really think it's possible for millitary and police not to be able to operate in igbo land? Common, wake up from such deadly dream. You guys are too unrealistic, and reckless for your own good! Igboid: |
Even if igbos kill all the police officers in south east and burn down all the police station there; even if they burn down all INEC offices, burn down all the courts in igbo land. Even if they are able to kill all soldiers in the SE and burn down all army barracks, will it fetch them Biafra? I strongly doubt that possibility. I strongly doubt it. The very best they will be able to achieve from all this is to crumble the economy of the SE, turn their zone to hell, make innocent souls lose their life while making it even more difficult for an igbo man to rule Nigeria while they can't have Biafra! |
They are beginning to break the law thereby giving the Federal Government some justifiable reason to crack down on them. |

South East will even be worse than Afghanistan starting from May 30. I will advise peace loving people still living there to relocate to a more peaceful area |
Ok. Just a food for thought: doesn't it occur to you that if Biafra had existed (God forbid) and those guys were born in Biafra they probably wouldn't have been footballers, and if they happen to be footballers they probably wouldn't have risen to the level they are? What if there is something about Nigeria that makes their existence possible in the first place? Who knows, they would not even have been born we had Biafra. Think about that! Dozie32: |
Welcome development. But they should look for a better name joor! I don't like the name - Gurara |
If you try you don't succeed, try, try, try again. She can make. I advise her not to give up. |
[quote author= post=102105508]She tried to even score that high! Believe and trust in yourself. #NeverGiveUp Go Gurl, You got it. Barrister Kim Kardashian in the making. Much Love and |
People like you are the cause of much of the evil going on in this world because in every situation, you choose to live in your fantasy while distorting reality, to suit your sentiment. Where in the video did you see or hear people hailing and praying for the so-called 'unknown gunmen'? BKayy: |
I am totally in support of the southern governors on this issue of Fulani herdsmen being banned from open grazing. I like their unity of purpose on this matter. They must not back down. Even though I am a strong believer in Nigeria's oneness, there are some evil and injustice that must not be tolerated at any cost. If there is one area the North must not proof stubborn and insist on having their way it should be in this herdsmen issue. |
