so I don't really know a better place to ask about this except here..

Sometimes in January I got into a relationship with a girl.. Since then we've just grown from strength to strength. We both stay and work in same town in the North central part of the country, far from home and parents. Our relationship is just everything that I've dreamt of. we are just perfect together

But the challenge is that she is a Yoruba Muslim while I am a Christian and also Igbo


So I ask...is there a possibility of both of us ending up together?? considering the tribal and religious difference. Will her parents allow that?? cos I don't have a problem with her accepting.

I am so angry right now, i feel like my head will explode. i need you all to read what i am about to write and advice me because i dont know if i am the problem.
I am a 26 year old lady who still lives with my parents because my parents wont want to hear that i am living alone, i barely have friends and since i am still looking for a job i am always at home frm Monday to Sunday, i go out like just once or twice a month that is when i have an interview or i want to make my hair, or rush out to see my friend. during this occasion once it gets to 6:30pm my phone starts ringing repeatedly and when i pick it is shout upon shout from my parents that what the hell am i still doing outside when it is so late. i am been so honest as possible, so that u guys can tell me truthfully if i am at fault. i have a relationship and because my friend goes to work and comes back in the evenings i only sitout in his car to gist for like 30mins before he goes home. the other sunday after coming back from church i decided to step out for an occasion with my friend, time was 12:45pm in the afternoon, u needed to have seen the way my Mom started shouting on me that where am i going to, and who do i want to go and see, that i am not allowed to leave the house. and this happens all the time all tru my life. i ignored her and stubbornly went out and it wasnt funny that day when i came back. hell was let loose. i am not really the extrovert type coupled with the fact my parents dont allow us step an inch. The worst that happened this evening was when my friend came back from work and stopped by my place to see me, i sat in his car outside my house in a decent manner but unfortunately my Dad came out of the compound, saw me and when he went in he started shouting on my younger sister who is 24yrs old to come and tell me that, if he gets to come out he would come and disgrace me and give me injuries, that i want to bring disgrace and make everyone feel i wasnt trained properly, this happened some minutes past 7pm today. Please friends i want to know if i am the one being unreasonable because this entire thing is driving me insane. this whole thing is affecting my relationship life. please pardon my typo errors i am boiling presently so it is the cause of typing fast. Advice needed.........Lalasticlala ishilove please you guys should push this to FP i need as plenty advice as i can get.

My background
I am a pastor's son. My dad is a regional pastor in one of the major pentecostal churches in Nigeria. Everyone is looking up to witness my wedding as a model. I am 36 years. I am this late because my parents have been condemning & rejecting my previous relationships on the basis that they are not born again.

My current relationship
I have been dating a lady who is not a member of my parents denomination for almost 2 years now. I am in love with her. She is a single mother (my parents are not aware) and I am ok with it. I lost my banking job last year December and she had been very supportive. We are planing to settle down in 3 months time. She is of a Muslim background. Though, she had changed to a christian about 5 years ago and her new faith is knowned to her family.

My parents wish
My parents wants me to marry one of the pastor's daughter in there church. She is a medical doctor and working in one of the FMC's. They claim they have prayed about it. The reality is that, the lady does not appeal to me. I even told my parents that, I don't find her attractive or like her. She is simply not my taste. They said, I should forget physical appearance. This is weakening.
They are aware of my present relationship. They don't care how she will feel. All they want is for me to end my relationship with her and heed to 'God's ordained' lady for me.
My parents are more concerned about there reputation in the church and saying I must satisfy and please them. They are ready to curse me if I go against there wish. I feel like running away.

I told her to come back and she declined. She said she has moved on. After much persuasion, she said she can only come after 3 days cos she is spending 3 days with the guy. Truth is, we have broke up and I can't concentrate, I can't eat, I can't sleep except If I take some sleeping tabs. I have contemplated suicide severally but I am like WTF why will I think of shit like this because of a girl that dosnt value me. I have even tried sex but even when fucking I only cum when I think of her. Most timea I don't even get hard. I actually thought sex will make me forget her fast. Sometime ago, a close associate of mine, a lady wanted to do something for the Lord. She specifically bought a Generator and was going to take it to the church we both attended at the time as it was a harvest Sunday.

I carefully pointed out to her that the gesture would be more appreciated if she gave it to a Christian sister who was struggling with a small scale laundry business without a reliable alternative power source. I even reminded her that the church had sufficient alternative power supply. But she wouldn't listen to me. To her, God can only receive her thanks if her gift was directed to the 'church' building and not a church member.

True to my word, the Generator was auctioned in the bazaar that followed. Obviously the church didn't need it badly.....

You see, same thing that made that my sister insist on directing her gift to the 'altar of God' is the reason why someone reading this post, after service today will drive his car home, empty and alone while waving 'bless you' to the trekking brethren of Jesus Christ, his blood-covenant brothers and sisters.

But if he mistakenly sees the resident pastor or regional pastor or the G.O going home on foot, that same brother will suspend his life and destiny temporarily just to drive home the man of God. He wouldn't mind emptying his car of his immediate family. His motivation is that at the end, the man of God will bless him or God will bless him more for driving the anointed. And this blessing, he cannot receive if he had driven home ordinary members of the body of Christ.

This is commercial Christianity, a false sense of making merchandise of the anointing.

Let me be more practical with a figure that is well respected as an example. If Pastor Adeboye today at redemption camp announces that he needs a brand new Range Rover 2018, there would be over 1000 congregants who will line up to meets this man of God's demand immediately. The man behind does not care if the man in front will give same car, he must do it for the man of God. This is wonderful of course, no doubt. But same people who are willing enough to buy Range Rover for daddy GO cannot buy tokunbo Gulf car for the jobless familyman in the church to start a transport business and help his family. Mbanu, doing it for the man of God is more profitable......

I could recall this happening regularly in my local assembly while growing up. I saw rich men who could not help the poor around them, making public donations in church, buying cars for pastors and raising buildings for the church single handedly, just to be recognized with titles such as Knight. Yet, the idea that giving to the church or the preacher attracts more blessings than giving to the needy is both false and fraudulent. It is unbiblical, product of commercial spirit.

This is the singular reason why you often find some very poor and wretched hungry brethren worshipping God inside expensive and lavishly furnished buildings.

Therefore beloved, let it be known to you that giving is not a native of the church buildings neither is 'God bless you' the exclusive preserve of the men of God. What happened to the words of Christ...... 'whatsoever you do to the LEAST of my brothers, that you do onto me....'

If you can do for your pastor what you cannot do for a brother(who is family just as the pastor), then there is something wrong about your motive.

It is imperative to know that God's blessing attached to doing good is same when we do it to our immediate neighbors. In Galatians 6, the Bible provided that the preacher as well as the brethren should benefit from our generosity, not just the preacher alone.

Some on their way to church today will ignore many opportunities to do good, reason simply because the money in their pocket is designated CHURCH OFFERING. Thus, they preferred giving to the God they don't see, while ignoring the God amongst men......

Except for the purpose of bringing it to the church so that it can be distributed amongst the needy, anything that tells you to ignore the immediate need of your blood-covenant brother so that you can attend to the need of the 'church' or the anointed is not of the Lord. It is a commercial spirit, the same kind of Spirit that Paul cast out of the man who priced his anointing.

Should I talk of wives who honor their man of God more than their husbands or husbands who honor their woman of God more than their wives for same reason of the blessing attached......

Let the willingness and zeal with which we attend to our Papas be same with our neighbors. For we are blessed as much when we do it to the poor and needy around us.
