2yrs after av been into the farming.I lost almost 5000 birds due to ignorant. , I used a vacine(lasoteta) for the birds (layers) cos they just started droping, not knowing that they already have newcastle, they just start dieing. Chai, I cried. It almost got to a time that I refused to go to farm again. That same month I lost about 1700creates of egg in an accident while transporting it to a nearby town, It was a miserable month cos I felt like the world shold just end.

My sincere sympathies my dear brother. The important thing is that you're trying. I'm also in similar shoes but likely much worse than yours. Perishable items are high-risk and I would have been in an even worse situation if I dealt in perishables. My own problem is lack of partners and capital but my goods and technical knowhow are not perishable. Good luck

My dya brother, it's more than 50%. I've been worrying about this issue a long time since I got in the energy business. Just one shop on my street in Ibadan: it is 5am, hardly anyone outdoors, I pass by only to see 4 100w bulbs on as NEPA restores light. Now, those lights don't seem to have a switch cos they're on, day and night whenever there's light. The same owner of the shop would be arguing that bill is expensive when they tell her to pay maybe 1000 a month. Do the maths at 20something naira per kilowatt-hour for only those 4 outside bulbs. She still has appliances inside, of course. Now, I design solar solutions. For you to have a solar solution for 500w load, in today's prices, you need over 1 million naira. Will she pay? We don't do our part to solve problems we face in this country because the Nigerian was brought up to blame government for any and everything
