clubone05:
Its the romance section and from what I can see there is little or no romance going on here...so it got me thinking. ...

and..

what if I throw all these losers on here a party. ..

then I started looking at logistics. ..

venue. ..around gbagada...its central (mainland and island)

Cost..I can do venue and maybe a dj..but guys gats bring them own drinks...people can pledge whatever. .

ratio guy/ladies. ..I don't wanna be the sucker that hosted a party with just guys and no women...so there is going to be a pool committee. ..their job is making sure enough babes are going to be there. ..from NL,LIB..I don't care.
Logistics getting to the party. ..I got a pool of cars (mine and my padis)..so we could pick up will ladies from locations around lag.

party venue is going to be coded till im sure u guys are into it..

so thats just about it...I know there are alot of kiddies on here so..im thinking of an age bracket. ..

so if ur willing to be in the committee. ..ur welcome. .

some peeps have honorary invites. .. grin

I gave your posts likes and share them to my peeps but let me tell you what I feel :

A written experience is always adverse and horrible when you never experienced good moments e.g your parents were separated which would have cause some psychological trauma in you as a child of broken home ...

The same trauma was what you transferred to your relationship with girls which made you to be possibly dealt with by them !!

A child of unbrokened marriage and non-gory relationship experience might not think the way you did !!

I don't write when my brain never experienced the sweet/bad tales cuz I would be biased !

For some, Marriage is sweet and such fellow never regret ever knowing their spouse and their marriage.... Infact , some folks would have become nothing in their life without their significant other !!

Op, I think you lived solitary life as a kid and perform better on your own w'out distraction ... It doesn't work like that for others !

for some, marriage is horrible because they never experienced the sweet side !

It takes two to tango and one to dip .... Compatibility is key !!

Majority of bad/wicked folks you see out there killing, bombing, pickpockets, maiming, robbing, raping, terrorism, suicide, ritual etc are mostly children of failed marriage as well as one night stand lacking parental care and love in a sane matrimonial environment then the next available bastard show such kid some love and you abide by his/her ideology then the net of wicked souls keep expanding !!

Marriage is a very strong institution constituted to maintain sanity in the society but due to the irresponsibility of the present generation marriage has failed to achieve its result also the economic woes aint helping matters since globally, majority of folks are frustrated and psycologically disturbed and such is what we all transferred into our marriage , why would it not fail !

The men has failed to do their jobs and the women has failed too also Globalisation aint helping matters as well as capitalism .... It is a competitive world ... In the olden days Nigeria a man can live a happy family life with mere SSCE but nowadays M.sc/MBA/PhD are still running to keep their marital-life together !!

Conclusion : The ills of society would escalate without marriage ......... Majority of problems in our societies is caused by failed marriage/relationship !

As for me I will marry a woman who shares my mentality and compatibility to hell with love I belief in responsibility : Do your Job and I do mine ....

Lol this guy is nuts from all view point....You are just the perfect Architype of a Child who'd run away from home to avoid scolding and constant correction. Why are you even wasting ur time do you even think for a minute that these morons applauding this write up; I'd admit that it has a touch of Eloquence to it. They'd end up getting their a$$ hooked They can't stand the pressure- from society, from family and from themselves. You scared already you needed support, to boost ur theory of loneliness, of miserableness so you had to share and of cos you're getting the support, cos misguided donkeys like you are all clamouring patiently waiting On what to Be told next. Such a shame! Regardless the futile flaws of Marriage, there's this innate tendency in each and everyone of Us yes! Including You 'killJoy' to get married sometime. off cos no one here on NL probably knows you to ur house we'd love to keep a record of ur existence and how'd you'd turn out 20 years from now I'd particularly love to see you practice what you preach. So U are very welcome to come out all stubborn and "hardguy" on ur so called realistic opinion. If you were realistic you Wouldn't be here wasting precious Minutes of ur life chelping about some obvious reasons to not get married like it changes anything. This is why Nigerian pastors are making it big gathering followers is now so easy Nigerians are so naïve, so gullible that they inadvertently want someone to think For them. If You have a problem With marriage you do yourself a favour and keep it to Yourself it won't hurt. I honestly doubt your sanity. I have a brother just like you he detested the troubles of women concluded he wouldn't get married but funny He just got married to an Ethiopian lady and he's 2 years short of 40. Negative thoughts like This only depicts how irrational your thinking is and how responsible you are and how responsible you wish to be. now tell me being single for the rest of ur life doesn't have its flaws? you want to keep banging whores and mastubating when you're 40, 50, 60, even 70. Dude that's shallow and shameful show some self respect, some dignity, some fear of God most importantly. Grow up and stop wasting ur time. Nairalanders he'll get married he's just one of those indecisive and confused Nigerians who "form" online and give u d impression of what they're not. You're smart killJoy U should get productive maybe write novels...and propose to that sweet girl you'll fall inlove with ehn. Happy married life in advance....Silly Chicken grin PS we forgive u already for bringing up this junk thread of "hate" on ur wedding I'd forget you ever said such ugly remarks about marriage like who planned it is a fool God doesn't know what He's doing atleast that's what you think.
Looks like insulting your opponent in a debate argues for intelligence on your part. Or if somebody captures your Queen in a chess game, you'd get up and throw a bottle at him. Op presented his points, you do the same, you don't need to throw stones here

Dapo777:
Exactly,I have had similar experience with girls too. I came to realise that It's not about how much you love a girl that matters But how much benefits she can derive from you.

I swear, some girls can claim to die for me because they know I am ambitious, I have a plan and I am following the plans to be "very" rich. They act like their lives depend on me just to brainwash me into thinking they love me. And I play along.

I have three sisters and they let me know What they make men go Through, one of my sisters told me once she gets another richer guy into her life, she would ditch the old one. I was like wow,am lucky I have sisters telling me the truth about themselves.

There is Nothing like love. Women hurt the people they claim to love So much, they break hearts and play the victims.

They manipulate the minds with tears and emotions. Women aren't soft. They are game players. A man who still thinks women are weaker vessels is still under the veil of the emotional blackmail from women.

Be warned.

To the guys: you can get married If you trust your lady, no qualms It's ur life.
It is far better to be feared than loved. Love is maintained by gratitude and obligation; which humans, wretched in nature can willingly hurt the person who is loved by them, While fear is guided by dread of consequences, which is at the discretion and disposal of THE PRINCE. (Nicolo Machiavelli)

killjoy:
readers discretion adviced: this is a long post. get a bowl of popcorn and your glasses. turn off the TV , you don't want to get distracted. if it took me time to write such a lengthy post, I wonder why you should complain about reading it. below are the reasons.

1. We're too different to live together: women love people and relationships, men love objects (like cars, houses, gadgets, game consoles etc), a man's lot is his career, a woman's is marriage (according to the curse after the fall of man), women are indirect, men are always direct, men want sex before they develop feelings for women, women can't have sex without emotional attachment first(unless they r who.res, even if they are who.res lolzzz), a man wants to hv sex, a woman wants to make love (I swear she doesn't even mind just cuddling), men see having dinner as a time to quench hunger, women see having dinner as time for bonding, let me continue? A married man without money feels unfulfilled, a wealthy woman without a man feels similarly, I can go on and on! But no time, my point, you need a lot of patience, tolerance, understanding, endurance, compromise etc to survive in marriage. But life is too short, stay single and be free to be urself or get married and spend the rest of your life struggling to be another person. Continue reading, this is just one of seven.

2. Love doesn't exist: if you intend to stake your future with a woman on an emotion as erratic as love, then you need to have ur head examined. Love is an emotional convulsion which, like other sicknesses, are recovered from with time. Experience has thought me that a woman's love is only skin deep, but you can accentuate it with money. Ohhhh how women react to the smell of cash. Bleep love and go make some muller.

3. You don't need a child: the world will remember you by the kids you left behind. That's a big fat lie!! You don't need a carbon copy of yourself roaming the earth after your demise to ensure your immortality. Instead, the world will remember you by the feats you surmounted! Obama will be remembered not as the father of, I don't even know his child's name and I don't give a fvck bout it! But as the first black US President. Mother Theresa never had a child, Einstein's legacy is not his kids but his discoveries. My point! You are not remembered by the kids you had but the records you set. But if you badly want a kid, adopt one, or get a baby mama and impregnate her but never, never get married just to have kids. marriage is too great a price to pay.

4. There is absolutely nothing new marriage has to offer you: just be honest with yourself. A family? You already belong to one (or do you think you just appeared out of thin air?), love? Your mother loves you like die, trust moi. A woman to manage your home? Get a maid! pay her well and she will manage your home without complications like disrespecting you, PMS, etc. Sex? Gone are the days men marry for sex ooo!!! Sex is damn cheap, you don't need marriage to enjoy it. By the way, what makes you think getting married entitles you to sex when you want it, ie, if at all?? U never jam female Hitler. Continue reading, I'm not even close to the end.

5. Marriage is expensive: a woman's problems end when she gets married (at least on financial level), while a man's problems just begin. Most ladies don't have plans of making money(some stop after getting married). for a woman, after graduating from uni, a husband is top on d list above a job ie, if a job is on the list. Guys, stay alone and worry for one. Apart from financially, marriage drains you emotionally. You have to deal with a partner suffering from PMS five days in a month for life (by the time she reaches menopause, you'd be probably dead) and when she ain't suffering PMS, its worse cos she is pregnant!! Don't forget regular mood swings, test games, among other complicated female emotional ailments. Plus wait till you get divorced before you know how much financially and emotionally expensive marriage could be. That brings us to...

6. It may end up in divorce: possible causes of divorce. She gains weight, sex with one person for years gone stale and boring, the love (or whatever dumb ass name you call it) fades, you want a new woman, (men are polygamous by nature, hard truth. Deal with it), she is no longer the woman you married, (true, women do change after marriage for many reasons, that is story for another day), you cheat on her, she cheats on you, many many more. Don't scar yourself with a painful divorce. Stay single and happy.

7. You get to focus on your dreams without distractions. Like I said earlier, a man's career is his lot (or curse). As s man if you haven't got a successful career, you will probably die unhappy and unproductive. The compromise you have to make to keep her happy will retard you from achieving your dreams to the fullest. Pleasing a woman and pursuing your dreams are mutually exclusive. don't get married.

disclaimer: its ironic when people say honesty is a virtue yet can't bear to hear (or read) the truth.

nota bene: I am not prejudiced towards women. I hate all equally.
You're a genius

2. University of Ibadan (UI)
3. Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU)
4. University of Benin (UNIBEN)

What's your view?

But then, I just don't support jungle justice. Something should be done to end this jungle justice mentality, and this can only come about when culprits are brought to justice the right way.
Thanks! I've been campaigning against this jungle justice of a thing. Its like people don't really understand how round the turns. With jungle justice, the victim may not always be guilty. Some people can't defend themselves when questioned by a crowd, it takes a psychologist to discern that they are innocent. So many innocent people have lost their lives to this backwardness especially in lagos state.
There was ALUU FOUR, then the women in ejigbo who stole pepper, then a student who was strolling in a street in Lagos during ASUU strike, recently: a lecturer who ran kids over with his car, even the case of a lady going to work, parked her car and offered to lift some kids to their school. In fright o her strangeness to them. They started running. A mob accosted her asking her if she knew the kids, in a bd to escape being lynched, she answered positive, again the kids denied her. She was burnt alive with her car. Later revelations had it that she was actually a worker, and well known to love kids to a fault. Jungle justice is babaric and returns us to the pre-medevial era! Even when Timothy Mc veigh who blew down the federal Murray building in oklahoma 1996, was caught, and even though about 600 people lost their lives in that event, he was brought to book, tried for 6 years, found guilty and killed with lethal injection. ALUU FOUR were rich kids who would never actually steal phones.

African marriages still have a fundamental background of the man being the leader. If women all became competent and independent, then there will be less marriages and more divorces, because every ascension up the social and economic ladder will leave a toothing stone for internal strife and competition for mastery. #my opinion

How many toyotas have you owned?

How many have you driven?
Before I started owning cars, I had family who did and who still owned toyota.
Just on friday, my uncles 1998 camry was stolen in Mararaba.
My aunt immediately sold her 2001 camry and rushed to an RX300, I laughed at her because she heard camry and corolla was easily stolen and easily vandalized. But lexus is still toyota so?
Last year, I was driving one of my relatives highlander, when guys in okada accosted us, double crossed us and almost snatched the car from us. If not that I had been trained to handle and react swiftly to such risk exposures, that car would have been stolen and cannibalized.

I owned a toyota carina ii liftback, it was all tales of woes. From one sad tale to another. Two silly freak accidents and heavy bill to keep that lemon running. I sold her off.
Used an infiniti QX4 for 1 year with no single issue. I only changed oil 3 times, drained the hydrulic fluid, ATF, and coolant fluid (just at my own wish not because anything was wrong).

I am currently using a highlander and an RX330 Lexus. I can't travel outside Abuja with any of them neither can I go to some remote parts of Abuja with them because I'm afraid of vehicular theft although they're insured, have trackers, pedal locks, and steering locks.

I recall using my highlander keys to open another highlander same colour as mine early this year. I had lots on my mind and wasn't paying attention. I went to the door pressed the fob no reply. Inserted the key and voila it opened. I entered and observed it didn't have the centre console but mine had. Immediately the owner came and started cussing. I pleaded profusely. I had to go bring my own car nearby where it was parked before he calmed down.
You CANNOT try that with a Beemer, a Benz or a Peugeot.
So what are you now defending?

So what is your point to prove?

FIY, I'm only on toyota/lexus because I see their parts abound and mechanics abound. My choice is actually any Benz and Beemer.
Too much a reply for my comment. Learn to meet the brief with brevity and the severe with severity. Do I really need to know all you wrote above just because I said c class is theft prone? Wow! I hope you don't bore your wife with stories
