There are millionaires in Nigeria who you would never recognize because they dont dress to be noticed, and are constantly toiling harder to make projects work that have no purpose other than to benefit the community. You'll see them travelling to remote states, donating to build projects in their home towns, etc. While armed robbers may still attack these people (robbers are universally evil), I would have more sympathy for them than for the likes of P-square

Nigerian celebrities and artistes have to make a bigger show of giving back to the community. They should pump their millions into youth development programmes, build cheap lodgings, hold competitions for free tickets, sing in fundraisers and donate to the community. When you have a crowd of area boys hailing you as their "godfather" wherever you go, I imagine armed robbery will occur less often.

We should find a way to keep this alive!

octor's are not the only professionals facing hardship as a result of poor remuneration but by Jove they are supposed to save lives . That's a primary objective. To see this responsibility so undermined is saddening.  I ask myself is society so debased that Doctor's done tools because of not reaching a 100% target in their negotiation. Trade union negotiation is all about give and take. The state yielded ground, so the Doctor's must be magnanimous. Remember "the arrow of the Gods". The strike is unpopular. Got to take my wife to a private clinic.

I found university extremely easy, except for when the papers got back and i got inexplicably bad results again and again. Of course this was damaging to my self esteem and i kept trying my best, without having anyone to advise me on WHAT exactly to do.

Eventually I did the smart thing and showed up at the faculty with not only my parents, but family friends that were senior lecturers, including the dean of the faculty. A few questions about what the hell was going on yielded no fruit,

until suddenly my 'missing' answer sheets from years back started turning up with fantastic results and my 'lost' project mysteriously materialized in the university library of all places. Spotless, without a speck of dust despite being surrounded by dusty books.

Till today I have no clue who had it in for me or why, I just know that once you pull weight in the face of a bloody coward they will cease their cowardice. I only wish I had done it sooner, my GPA would have been saved.

Going to University in Nigeria is not something I wish on anyone.If you can help it, leave. If you can't, pray and do not be afraid to display whatever connections/protection you may have.

A shop with loyal customers does not need to lock up. Pay for goods consumed and your shopkeeper will stay in business!

Of course a shop that locks for no reason will soon go out of business anyway,
