tjark1: What does it -walnut- look like @OP
|
Donfamous: not that we are sleeping before, the Nigerians doing this resides abroad, I've even concluded before clicking the topic that it can't be in Nigeria, because our people (both govt and citizens) doesn't value our intellects, but if we dare travel abroad we excel than being here, and besides there are no suitable equipments to work with, something is wrong with our education system in naija, I still believe that nigerians are one of the best active and intelligent students in the world, only if our people can reason,.Not quite true. The students live and study in Nigeria. They attend a school in Ipaja. They were representing Nigeria in a competition in US. |

dytbabe: Baby wadrobeIt depends on what you like. Some mothers would buy baby carrier others would prefer to back their babies with wrapper. Some mothers like Player/rockers some would prefer rocking them to sleep, etc etc. The amount of things that have been pushed at new mothers as essentials is really mind blowing. I just had a look around and saw the plenty junk i have in my house that i bought when i was about to give birth. Some are brand new, some were used maybe once or twice. Its heart breaking (money wasting too). If you are looking to feast your eyes and stuff and increase your possessions for your baby, type "new mother essentials, new mum checklist" etc etc. |
I have learnt new things today. Just wanted to point out that tampons may not help you. I used to have your mindset till i started using them. They are good for at best 2 hrs (i mean maximum strength ones). |
Eldavido1: let me help you. Read the report carefully and try understand what the minister said:Definitely NOT the link i was looking for. This is a different story |
Eldavido1: which US came out and say she never had it? you actually believe that sourceless news? When even the WHO health workers in nigeria working on the ebola patient confirmed it, you are still waiting for your lord in US to confirm it for you abi?My bad. I actually meant WHO confirmed it was false positive. |
Eldavido1: which US came out and say she never had it? you actually believe that sourceless news? When even the WHO health workers in nigeria working on the ebola patient confirmed it, you are still waiting for your lord in US to confirm it for you abi?Talk true jor. Didnt the minister come out to clarify that he was misquoted and the doctor really did not have Ebola? Will look for the links when i have time. |
The truth shall set us free. Did they test positive to the virus ab initio or they were just under observation and were released? Just like the case of the first woman that was released, if US had not come out to say that she never had it in the first instance, we would still be listening to our Minister spout his lies. |
simbaddsailor: Its you dat need help. Did you not read where I stated in a reply to my post that the thing did not actually happen to me but a friend, someone even adviced me that next time I shuld make it clear that it happened to someone else so that people will know how advice. You can't tell me that every matters nairalanders brings here for solutions did happened to them. Please verify before you start throwing insults at me. For you information, I am successfull businessman n happily married with 3 kids. I waz only seeking for an advice on behalf of a friend.Happily married with 3 kids yet you are looking for a hookup? |
agiboma: @Blank how are you mommy? I think you have 3 now? i hope you and hubby are slowing down lol. SO much has changed we are now back in Canada full-time so no more PH for now. Looking to cross over to USA as I was offered a position that is really hard to turn down, but will see how things pan out. Take good care was nice reading from you again!Awww. That's lovely. Very happy for you and your family. I am still at two o. I don press brake for now. Time to grow my career. Still keep in touch. Don't disappear again. |
When selling things to people, always ensure they give you a post dated cheque. There was a guy a couple of weeks back that borrowed money from a loan shark in Bariga. The guy makes you eat your poo and wash it down with lacasera if you don't pay back. Get the guy to do the work on your behalf. |
How about a situation where you buy a property, start living there and find out that two churches moved there within a year. After 2 years, two more churches and a mosque to boot? The annoying part is that it reduces the worth of your properties. |
All these yeye propaganda. Elegant courts Ikota was commissioned more than 1 yr ago. It is a private estate and not a government estate. As at when it was selling, it was more than N35m. Just do a Google search of the estate. |
akitijackson: me telling her dat wld make us real enemies...dat's wat I'm avoidin tho. I dnt want to sound rude. You should be polite only if you like her as a person but don't want her to come to your room. Being rude will have the dual effect of stopping her from coming to your room and the so called friendship. |
babyme1: Madam if you bothered to read the OP u will see where i stated the money was invested but d business failed . You will also see where i said he has paid 700k already n will be paying the rest instalmentally. what makes him a stone-hearted criminal then? p@other posters thanks for ad vice, :2he has a lawyer already and has made another payment of 300k to the man. Hopefully, all these will end soonIf you read my response, I stated that he is a stone-hearted criminal because he jumped bail and allowed the friend who stood surety for him to be arrested. Good that he has started paying. He should have started paying earlier so that it won't have reached this level and he won't be paying a lawyer. |
afrobaby: Haa blank, why are you talkng like this to me now, really, the first part was just a joke. To be candid, I have a lot of people owing my husband and I, to be frank, it can be so annoying but I always say,'' DO NOT LEND OUT MONEY YOU CAN'T GIVE''. Before you can decide to borrow someone money, I believe you must have a somewhat good relationship with the person and I would not want to take someone I 'like' to court or police station over money. 800k is big money, but the bitter part is since he doesn't have money, nothing can be done until he is ready to payThe issue should be don't collect money and not expect any consequences when you don't pay back. Something can be done which is what he is doing now , taking him to court. |
afrobaby: Wetin, on top 800k, Nigeria sef dey owe now, why polie go come arrest person cause of loan, make them settle am for house. Why are you talking like this? Is the money not someone's hard earned sweat? I am sure they tried all of that and failed that was why the guy had to go to court. You can even see that the guy is a stone-hearted criminal. He jumped bail and thus had his friend who stood surety for him get arrested. If it was not such a big deal, why did he not pay back the loan? It should ordinarily be a civil case but once fraud comes into it, i t becomes a police case. If he did not want to pay lawyers, he should not have tried to bail with someone's money. |
kayeee4321: hiTo get married in UK, you have to apply for a marriage visa. The requirements are on their website. |
Wow. Not again. I can't believe that even the so called trusted hands are also bringing this auto section to disrepute. This is so sad. Still trying to recover from Okhai now this. |
You have not even discussed with your wife and you are bringing it to Nairaland? Why not call your wife, explain that your parents are retired and that you feel you should be giving xxxxx amount of money and ask for her opinion? Since her parents are still working, it might never have occurred to her that your parents need some regular upkeep. She might assume that they saved up some money from when they were working and have investments that should be bringing in some money. |
@ OP, My opinion is that you should have stayed back and hosted his visitors. That is what the lady of the house does. No one said you should fight anyone. It might have been his game plan so that the ex will see you there and start understanding that he is off the market. Some guys don't know how to be blunt and you should have helped him. A woman stands by her husband through whatever. That being said, you need to sit down and have a hard discussion with your beau. It is not enough to set the rules, they have to be followed or there will be consequences. Talk to him about his lack of respect and ask him to make up his mind if it is you he really wants. I hope you have a strong base cos i can see that you are going to need it to remain married to this kind of person. |
drajjay: just wondering why i've never seen a cigarette ad on tv like benson and hedges, rothmans, dorchester etc .Yes, it is banned. |
@ OP, from your description, you were definitely his side-chick. It's his wife who should be compensated. |
ifyalways: nne you tagged me in one thread like that. Something to do with Seun. I don find that thread tire. KaiThat gist was interesting. It was about our Oga at the top, sexkills and Ogugua was in the middle. "They" deleted the thread within 2hrs of my tagging you. I still have her link where she posted everything that happened. Let me stop here before I chop ban for doing aproko. |
suxes2005: This shii just happened to me now.I don't know. Ask Cruisez, it happened to him before. |
Ujujoan: Don't be surprised that your friend already knows about this mystery woman.@ Ujujoan, welcome back. Been quite a while. Thought you had even deactivated your account. |
