I'm beginning to like AlmondJoy. Very truthful and realistic.

Some people just like to be decieved and pampered even if it's by the wrong person or for the wrong motive. The girl knows what the guy is like (if they've actually been together for a while) so if she loves what she's seen in him, that's what matters. The guy might not be a romantic but he may really desire to marry her.

Must the guy be a romantic to be a good husband?

I cant even remember how I proposed to my wife. I probably just told her that we will be getting married on bla bla bla date oh my goodness. But she agreed and I'm sure she has no regrets about it after these years

I cant phathom how anyone expects that a guy who had a one-night stand will be happy to learn that it has resulted in a baby. A randy guy does not think about having babies; his only thought is in having that moment of passion and walking away from it.

Girls/ladies need to start telling themselves and the younger ones the truth about things and stop decieving younger ones. Guys are unlikely to be happy fathers to products of one-night stands!!! The only guarantee that a guy will be happy to father your child is if you are both married or at least in a very loving relationship. Even at that, it's best to know that he's ready and willing to take the responsibility.

I see blacks here busy working hard at mcdonalds while their white colleagues are slaving away in med school. In 10yrs time somebody will claim racism because there are not enough black doctors.

It was never going to turn out otherwise because the black people who came as immigrants are put in slums and they were not allowed to get decent education several years ago. Those who suffered segregation in old Britain will tell you this better. People who were not allowed to go to school with white people cannot give their children proper education even when the opportunity is there. They can't teach their children values that will help the children to take advantage of going to school.

An illiterate cannot help his/her child with what the child has been taught at school. An illiterate does not have the same values as an educated person and this is why it has taken several generations for black people in UK to start rearing their heads in decent professions.

The blacks you see busy working at macd's have things to sort out that the white people in uni don't have. Sometimes, they don't even have what it takes for academic achievements because they were groomed by people who know very little about education. these things are extremely important and cannot be written off.

I have been to south africa and I can not blame the whites for the situation with the blacks in South Africa. The majority of the blame remains on the blacks as it does the rest of Africa. The Blacks have nothing limiting them at all. Infact, they have not had anything limiting them advancing in the past decade or so and look at what is going on. Please how can you advocate racism as solution to the situation in South Africa today?? As someone who has seen south africans in Action on so many occassions, I fail to see how you arrived at this idea. I can point out quite a couple of Nigerians who have gone to south africa with so little and are among the people doing well down there in South Africa. I know a particular nigerian who has been in south africa for a decade now or so and he will tell you the same. He came there with nothing, did not have to resort to crime to get to where he is now. The society is an open one where you have a lot of opportunities should you want to succeed. It is simply up to you. Like every place else, you will run into obstacles but you decide what you do with those obstacles: focus on them and make an issue out of it all or move on to take advantage of other open gates available, you decide.

Let's take a deeper look at this.

Black South Africans have suffered several decades without education, so majority of them are illiterates and cant know how to educate others. Recently, the country opened up and they claim that everyone is now entitled to get educated. How on earth do you expect the children of poor illiterates to cope with/compete with the children of the white people who have had several decades of being educated? even in Nigeria, the richer you are, the higher the likelihood that your child will get a better quality education: let alone a situation where the parents of most of these black people are also illiterate by design

Opportunities exist but the black South Africans are immediately disadvantaged because they are starting from a terribly lower point than white South Africans who have had the education and wealth to give the best to their kids. It will take several generations for Black South Africans to be able to compete effectively economically with the white.

Nigerians who go to South Africa are smarter because Nigerians, in the main have a decent level of education. NOT SO BLACK SOUTH AFRICANS!!! It is wrong to say that because Nigerians do well in South Africa, there exists equality. Black South Africans have been disadvantaged from the outset

Even if people dont have cameras, many people have camera phones and should secretly record some of these atrocities.

Perhaps if they realise that they could be filmed and exposed, such incidents will reduce: Just my thought

It's their land. When you start to experience and witness real racist acts of white against black people, you'll see why there's nothing wrong with telling South Africans to be racist towards white people and create a conducive atmosphere for racism to thrive.

I am not advocating for Tribalism being abolished. I happen to accept it is a part of who we are and I do not see it as a problem but it can be a problem in some cases and we can work around it. When I said tribalism became the issue, I meant instead of accepting it existed and work around it, we made it the focus and that was when the problems started. Take Europe for instance, even in countries such as Norway, racism exists but instead of making it an issue, we see people focusing on other things and less on racism which exists no matter what level you go and look at situations out there compared to what we have in Nigeria??

For your question, I completely believe the nation would be successful if people would not make an issue out of their differences and accept it is there and focus more on other things. It is like a black man working in a company filled with some racists and a woman working in a company filled with sexists. We have seen case after case where these people have been able to overcome these problems to excel and do great even in the same place with the same group of people.

You cant even wish tribalism away anywhere in the world.

the reason Nigerians seemed to focus on it was because it had brought down the economy and people had to look for the root cause of the economic ruin - it was found entrenched in the tribal set up of the contraption.

I have never denied being a racist ever since I moved outside Nigeria finally. I am racist in reaction to the racism I experience and see around me and I have no apologies for that.

White people completely took over Australia. At least, they left Nigeria for us. In Australia, white people dont even consider the aborigenes as humans. Every joke at every party is directed at aborigenes. The aborigenes can never rise up in their own country again as a result of the degradation they have suffered for several years.

South Africans are luckier because they had not been completely wiped off before the whites allowed for truely representative democracy. But South Africans still suffer for the many years of oppression because they now do not have the basic skills to take advantage of any opportunities. They were not allowed to get any education for several years. The black south africans who attend school now will not have any great effect for several decades because the whites already have several years' head start.
