Hello fams just want to keep you updated , son messaged his father on Saturday he had attached a picture of him and his sister , he didn't get any response , so on sunday son called again through facebook video call he picked up and told him he is on his way to church he will call back later. He hasn't call back yet and son wants to call him back again today but I've told him to not call he should be patient he will call him when he's less busy. Son is desperately waiting to hear back from him and Hopefully he will call back anytime soon

I saw this coming, that the Dad may not be as excited as the boy over reunion tinz. Let ur boy kno he has tried his best. If the Dad truly loves him as he thinks, he will make every effort to reach out to him but since its looking like this, he shouldnt try to force himsef on his Dad. Let him study hard and make it in life, his Dad will be the one looking for him. Abeg he don try,he shd stop forcing it cos the Man called Dad is not ready for him

If I were in your shoes, I would tell my son to delay contact with his father, then I'll enroll him to learn a skill.

Only when he has become financially stable will he be allowed to have a relationship with him, it's more difficult to manipulate a man who feeds himself.

Truth is the boy will contact his Dad with or without her permission if she keeps preventing him. Kids can access facebook from anywhere including neighbors, school and church friends. She is even lucky he asked first, which shows he's s a good boy but the truth is curiousity may not let him be that good boy for long if she keeps preventing him. Not this generation of kids and smart phones everywhere. Let her allow him contact his father, that way she will still hav a little control over him and she might be lucky he will tell her whatever they discuss but preventing him and he contacts him outisde without ur knowledge, it will be very difficult to get him under ur control and u might even give the Dad the opportunity of brainwashing him.

On a second thought, the man might not even want to keep in touch with him especially if his italian family is not aware of his Nigerian wife and kids. So still allow him, at least that way the boy will kno the father hes killing himsef over is not even worth the stress. In summary, Madam allow him talk to the Dad, its also for u and his good cos u dont even kno what the boy is going thru inside. Your son still loves you irrespective of wanting to reach his Dad hence his swwking permission, dont make him start keeping thgs away from u and talking to outsiders. 15yrs is no longer a child so dont do things that will make your child start hiding things from u. Just that If we can afford the cost of going for foetus testing whenever she's pregnant so as to ascertain the genotype of the child. Your best bet is to save up for IVF straight and use donor eggs. With ivf you are sure of an AA egg donor and God helps you, you get twins or triplets, you wont need to go thru ivf again and you also wont live with the guilt of putting her thru amniocentesis and abortions. All the best, science has gone far with gynotype AS issues.

just to ask can one who come from far place travel back after two days when the embryo is transfer?

U can travel back 2-3 days after transfer n get good results. For long distance flight is ir best bet 2-3 days after transfer. For short distance of 1-2 hrs, say day or next day travel is fine if ur road is okay otherwise wait n get results first

I onced lived in compound where all four of us were looking for the fruit of the womb. The only lady who had a child had the child before moving into the compound few months after giving birth. The child was 8 years old when we moved into the compound. We lived there about 5yrs before we left. On enquiry from neighbors living around the area and tenants we met there, i got to kno even the person who vacated my flat was also childless same with other flats in the compound people occupied moved out before we came in. All childless, they will move out and other couples come in and still childless. Initially i didnt take it to heart cos i knew i had some medical issues. One day i had a minor arguement with the landlady over rent increase without notice for the second time and she threatened me that if we dont pay the new rate she will put a pot with fire in front of my flat to show me who she truly is, that was i working when i rented the flat? Now am working by chance so i hav mouth to ask of notice before rent increase. Omo that was when I knew our time was up in that compound. Cos truly i was the only wife working while others were housewives. We just moved jeje to our uncompleted building n completed it while inside and a lot of thgs changed from there including our havibg a set of twins. Why am i sharing this? Av com to understand many landlands in this lagos are truly fetish so if your mind is already telling you somethg my brother runnnnn!!! Loosing 2 kids in one compound, haba!!!! U shd kno somethg is amiss

How old is ur wife? Did u do hsg after d opening to confirm the tube is now open? If yes, check that that other parameters are ok, hormones, sper.m, age very important and ovarian reserve (amh). For ivf in ibadan, no idea but if she can do Abuja, primecare is ur best bet as they are very affordable and very good too.

Instead of just repeating the test, its best u take d serra before repeating it. U might be lucky to hav it opened during d hsg process except that test is not painful to u cool

Please how do I know if it's from the uterus end or the ovary end or if it's hydro? I'm a bit confused, but I'll start with the serrap and castor oil massage.

From the xray film u will see the type of blockage u have. If its the ovary end the dye will pass through the tube but wont flow out so it will form a balloon. If its the uterus end, the dye wont pass thru at all so u wont even see the dye inside the tube cos that blocked tube will be blank as in dark. Also the report will say tube was visualized but not patent or tube not visualized. If visualized it means tube was seen but not open for the dye to pass thru. I hope this helps. Hello mamas, I have a question about 2WW. My doctor said he was only going to give me 3 days sick leave to present at work.

So my question is that is there anyone that worked during 2WW or am I overthinking it? Should I apply for casual leave?

Research has shown that those who return to their normal lifestyle after transfer get better ivf results. The three days your Dr wants to giv u is very ok. Just ensure you take thgs easy, avoid heavy lifting n anythg strenuous. Except ur job is very very stressful n you think u might be involved in strenous activities then u can take casual leave. Even at that dont stay more than a week at home cos anxiety in the second week is worse and you are better off working or in the midst of people and things that will take ur mind off it. Thanks for the reply, ma'am. I did HSG last year. One tube is blocked and the other is open. Both Docs said I can depend on the only one that is open. Husband's sperm count is around 21 with a 5ml volume. Motility 40 percent. He was given some drugs to increase the motility but we've not done a follow-up SFA. The doctor recommended Letrozole for ovulation. Is there anything else I can add through the six months before we try IVF? I really appreciate your response ma'am.

Try and sort the blocked tube out either by reopening it or permanently blocking it because that blocked one can prevent the open one from working optimally, especially if u hav hydrosalpnx or its blocked from the ovary end. Depending on the type of blockage u hav you can take serrapeprease for three months with castor oil massage then go for flushing. It works especially If the blockage is from the uterus end. If there is hydro my sister take care of it whether u are trying naturally or via ivf so you dont end up wasting both money n time. All d best

Your amh is very apt. you dont need any suppy to boost. If you're facing IVF you may just want to detox with stuff like toxiflush or natural tumeric combo before your IVF.

Clomiphene is bad , it disrupts your circle and leads to chemical pregnancy. I have used it before felt pregnant but got BFN , a week later I passed out a large clot of blood and was sick for almost a month.

Be calming down Sis, a lot of peeps have gotten results with clomid and letrozole. It didnt work for you doesnt mean its bad. So many factors have to be considered before using clomid. Your Age, tubes, uterus and sperm conditions. If any of these have comma clomid is not likely to work for u. There is a DIY local IUI we embarked on as a group last year and the results have been good especially with younger women so dont rule out clomid. Just ensure you take under Dr supervision or strict monitoring.

Hi everyone, I am about to go for my 3rd IVF. I was told by the doctor that frozen embryo transfer is a bit better than fresh transfer. I am so confused right now because I don’t want to travel to Nigeria two times in two months. The journey is far and the tickets are so expensive. I feel stressed thinking about going twice with three weeks interval. Does anyone know anything about frozen embryo transfer? Any information would be helpful. Thanks

Depending on the clinic you are using. For Primecare I noticed they have better results with frozen embies. The clinic I used frozen never worked for me even with surrogate so it depends.
