Soludo Abandons Police Inspector Who Fell From His Convoy To Die Miserably Without Care

MR Lucky Okey, a Police Inspector attached to Anambra State Governor, Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo passed away early this morning after going through horrifying brain damage arising from his accident from the Governor’s convoy in February this year.

It was gathered that Mr Lucky fell and heat his head on a tarred road from a moving police van attached to the Governor’s office on official duty in the presence of the Governor and was immediately rushed to Amaku Teaching Hospital in the state capital.

Eyes witness account told our Correspondent that against medical advice that the officer should be flown abroad for medical treatment, the Commissioner for Health Dr. Afam Obidike, instead assembled two or three doctors who compounded Mr Lucky’s brain condition until he died this morning without proper care and medication to save cost of treating him abroad.

“It is unfortunate that Governor Soludo and his Commissioner for Health, Dr. Obidike who should be responsible in giving care to our brother contributed to his untimely death.

“After the shabby brain surgery carried out on my brother since he had the accident sometimes in February this year, we have been borrowing money to buy drugs for him on a weekly basis that have ran into millions of Naira.

“Sometimes his colleagues contribute money for his wife and only child for food since the salary is not enough and the Government has been owing him over three months allowances.

“We are confused at the moment because Lucky is the breadwinner of the family. Who will take care of his wife and the child now.

“My brother died a painful death because each time his drugs are exhausted you will observe he will be eating up his tongue by himself, the brother who simply gives his name as Marshall lamented.

Am lending my voice to this thread
https://www.nairaland.com/7922406/wife-why-life-women-complicated#127165126

A couple of days back, my wife put to bed using CS. Initially we had a baby before, I a know how complicated and painful the pregnancy and childbirth was.

Now I was in the theatre during the CS and I saw first hand how someone's abdomen was sliced open and the baby pulled out. I also saw how doctors were putting their hands into someone's abdomen and how they finally stitched her up. It wasn't an easy sight to behold. Right now, she's recovering, but the pain she's passing through is much.

To me, this is the highest form of sacrifice that someone can give for the family.

So to the men and husband out there..... before you ask your wife to be "what she is bringing to table", kindly think about the sacrifice they make in bringing your children to the world.
Why were u allowed in the theatre..I can understand a labour room not even a labour ward cos other mens wife are in the ward naked in varying degree of pain some not even knowing what they are doing.

Why sometimes renting an event center is good..but can be quite expensive... but I realise in the long run it's a bit cheaper..in terms of guests comfort...availability of convenience I.e toilets for both gender....protection from weather changes...some come with ac...fridges to cool your drinks and a place to store your food.. and some nice spots for your pictures....some of them come with enough chairs and tables you don't need to rent..just bring your decorator

If you earn N250,000 a month. It means you earn N3,000,000 a year.

Meaning for you to save N300,000,000

You need to work for 100 years without spending a dime from the money. cry cry

Why am I saying this? 27 year old Mohbad got N300,000,000 as royalties from music he did in Marlian records.

A polytechnic dropout. Some graduates will not make up to N30 million till they leave this earth.

Now before you attack me I'm an undergraduate studying a very good professional course.

But honestly this seems unfair like If you are a doctor in Nigeria it'll take you like 80 years of working in the hospital to get that amount. After sleepless nights and reading like a mad man.

Then one small boy will enter studio and just say la pio pio and EMI Omo ghetto for 2 minutes and he's made for life and has secured his future and do not need to answer "yes sir" to anyone for the rest of his life.

No wonder Shallipoppi said in a recent interview that he doesn't balance his finances that if family and friends requests. He just forwards the money that the money is like rituals.

If you are into entertainment Omo no give up o chai
There is a time to acquire skills and a time to work for money and a time for money to work for you...for every hustle there is a business behind the hustle...the dr u mentioned cam own hospital or a diagnostic facility...radiological facility...xray...ct...mri etc.....pharmacy and u see that dr earn 10 to 100m per year can even be more.

AS COPIED FROM FACEBOOK

I was in a relationship with a guy so early last month I discovered I was pregnant. It took me unawares and I wasn't prepared for it so I told my guy that I'm not ready for such that I want to terminate it. He agreed and I took misoprostol. It worked but I bled for like 4 weeks both heavy and light.

So after the medical abortion, my guy started regretting and saying we should have kept the baby. He started encouraging me to get pregnant again that he wants the child and will fulfill the marriage plans. Surprisingly I just found out I'm pregnant again so fast. Now he's saying we should get rid of it. From the look of things he's no longer interested in the pregnancy.

I'm planning to take the misoprostol tomorrow. But deep down I want this child. And my question is, is there going to be any health challenge for me if I should use another misoprostol this month? Seeing that I used it last month
Hmm how many months interval before getting pregnant again...remember u lost lot of blood in your first abortio..don't die before ur time.

For some people abroad, this is also their plan.

If that is true, then the unemployment should not be high, ditto the poverty rate. If it is so easy to mint millions in Nigeria, then there should be job openings everywhere and the GDP rate above 5% and inching to 9%/10%. If it is so easy to make money in Nigeria, then companies should be opening across the country: factories, stores etc.
Nobody to support the sme..the 5k or 10k trader moni cannot help anyone..even for a local pepper seller or person frying akara..no enabling environment if u are just coming up.

Gerrard59:
To save such, one should earn at least 5K dollars after tax. To earn such, one must be highly skilled and exclude debt from school. The reality is that even the bonafide citizens aren't able to save such. Most importantly, the concept of saving differs from Nigeria. Most pay forward rather than save. They insure themselves by paying car insurance, health insurance and utilise debt to advance their lives, then invest the rest. Saving money just like that is not financially sensible as inflation will eat it up. What you imply is that Nigerians abroad should save $12K annually. After saving that amount, then what next? Why save such when there are many investment schemes and mortgages to key into? At a point in life, your money should work for you, rather you working for the money.

Then, if saving such is hard in the abroad, how many Nigerians can save N1 million per month or even N500K after working?

So, you see, it is not a bright way to assess finances and expenses.
If I was abroad the long game plan is to invest in nigeria...cos its easier to make money in nigeria than abroad. Many ppl don't realise it..just that nigeria doesn't support ppl just starting.
