Lol Tinubu's policy is dumb. I wonder why politicians hate market solutions. Why do they feel its the tax payers job to give these individuals extra security. I just don't understand the logic of replacing police with other security agencies.

If you read through the woman's CV, you will found out that most of her higher education if not all are acquired overseas. What is NYSC cert if the woman can give us what we want? Even the governor can't quantify his claims, now thats weird. I'm guessing since you linked me to the article with no numbers you can't either. I wonder why Nigerians lack basic curiosity. Governor just says something and nobody no asks how many cubic meters of gas and how do the other states compare.

None if that will be fixed in an afternoon. I say its lack of respect for law or common man that causes one to be a criminal. If being poor and uneducated means they lack virtues then we shouldn't allow such people to vote either. Its still wrong on principle for tax payers to fund the private security of wealthy individuals. This why I gave my solution. At least improving private security will add jobs, improve security and reduce poverty.

Of course they can, but most private security in Nigeria are not armed mostly bouncers, only the police and military reserves the right to bear arms

Now you see the big issue. The laws don't allow the private sector to do their jobs effectively. Its as easy as allowing essier access to guns. Then police make money on the side while they allow crime to surge. They're more interested in serving our new aristocracy than fighting crime.
