Johnbullisaclow: Once again I ask you all to provide all the businesses that are folding up?
And this has nothing to do with APC or PDP or LP as I didn't vote in this election of support any of the candidates as they are all the same, so spare me with the "So and so Party Supporter" mantra.
Not everyone is blinded by Party or Tribal affiliations.
Since you claim to know so much about Business and investments, (LOL!) do share how Investments have been affected specifically by this election (beyond what is going on In the World Financially afdecting all Countries of which Nigeria is a part of).. Are you a foreigner? You should be aware of the exdous of companies and the decline in the economy of this country, right from the inception of this Useless party in 2015. |

spiSeyi: PBAT is pulling the string of Chinese economic strategy after WWII the CNY was devalued and floated to attract cheap labor and reduce the cost of Chinese products for the foreign market to attract more exports which led to the inflow of more FOREX because most countries' currencies were higher than CNY as at then. At this point, most American tech giants and others began to move their production lines to China 🇨🇳 because of cheap labor which will automatically reduce the cost of production, and product costs and increase sales. Today China 🇨🇳 is the 2ND most developed economy in the world because of this strategy, it was a tough time for China just like present-day Nigeria. Pres BAT should not bow to the pressure of reversing his policies, he is on the right path of economic restoration and nation rebuilding (Destruction of old structures must happen before a better structure can be rebuilt). To make the most use of this time learn to export your products and services to the neighboring country, the businessman's testimony is an eye eye-opener for the wise. In the meantime, PBAT should ensure food security and national security. Take it or live it PBAT is a genius in economy and he might be one of the most celebrated heroes of our time. Nigeria will be great, More gibberish and rubbish. Sighs!!!! |

Johnbullisaclow: Quite a silly comment to make, do you think International Investors look at stupid things like this to make business decisions!? Even during Abacha's regime, Investors from China and the Middle East trooped in when there were sanctions (and Western Investors still snuck in to do business with the regieme).
At this point, people are just being childish...Investors are only interested in making profits on their investments, nothing more nothing less....they will come regardless of who the President is as long as they can make a profit in the Nigerian markets, they couldn't give a Bleep about the Politicking going on.
People should know this and know peace. It's obvious you have no knowledge of how business decisions are taken. Am not surprised, logic and brain is far from any APC supporters. |

Since inception of democracy, Uzodinma has performed better than Udenwa, Ohakim, Rochester combined.
Uzodinma tried very well on infrastructure, Heakthcare, Education and civil servants welfare.
No past governor can match Uzodinma. I think he deserves a second term.
Only the bitter souls filled with hate are speaking ill of uzodinma.
But I can bet all, that none of the candidate can defeat Uzodinma except the form alliance and contest with one candidate.
Uzodinma second term is secure In which state did he perform all this? This same Imo State I vist often? Dey careful Make God no punish U. |

AllDModsAreMaad: You are just bla bbering and bla bbing, always shouting tax tax tax without considering if those they tax will get values for the taxes they are paying. Can you mention just one service or basic amenity in which the payment of taxes by the masses will be justified here in Nigeria?
Talking about states being parasites is lame, ordinary security of lives and properties, the government can't provide, conducive business environment, they can't give and you want people to pay for taxes from the ones they do by themselves. In a working society, every SE, SS and most SW states have what it takes to run their states independently.
I am tempted to call you a mu² but I won't do that because it is not necessary.
Taxing people without results for it, is also a form of stea ling. Ignore that dude , the guy na big Fool. |

nairalanda1: Better stop being a bigot, man.
The harsh truth is that the SE is also as parasitic as the North. The figures do not lie. So also the SW, except for Lagos, and the middle belt.
Make we all face some hard truths. The solution to the parasistim, is that each and every state governor Taxes THE UNTAXED...and raises tax rates on the rich too. EVEN THEN...it might make things slightly better.
This is not an occasion for pride, or for defedning your state, it is an occasion for us to start facing hard truths. You would make a very bad and foolish leader |

Politics › Re: YIAGA to INEC, NASS: Emulate Liberia, include Candidates photos on ballot papers by blueAgent(m): 2:36pm On Oct 18, 2023 |

The comparison doesn't make sense. Nigerians always looking for ways to bring down their Country. The Liberia election is smaller than some State Election By there footsteps you shall know. I know what the thread is about, which in actuality is an embarrassing publicity stunt anyway. Nigeria is collapsing and your President's media aides are uploading propaganda videos of him taking walks to the office, as if that is supposed to fix the litany of problems we have.
Ironically, it was another user who even raised the issue of the economy and Tinubu's unnecessary army of media aides, which I replied. But because you probably always get a hard-on from taking potty shots at me, you settled on my own response to the originating comment. Now I respond in kind and I'm the demon..😂

MOST ladies on these categories are not wife material. There attitudes will discourage you about marriage. 2. They are either too materialistic, irrespsonsible, proud or arrogant. 3. Not yet ready to be under the control of any man. These category are called "The Boss Ladies" 4. Only but a few are under a spell or bound down by spiritual/diabolic powers. They are the list of about 3% of the catagory of ladies past 30yrs and still single. I somehow agree with you. |
Politics › Re: NBS Report On Soaring Food Prices, Verdict On Tinubu’s Rule — LP by blueAgent(m): 11:36am On Oct 17, 2023 |
sweetgala: It is silly of LP to insist that the NBS report on food price inflation is a consequence of poor economic management by a government that has only been in executive control of same economy for less than 200 days.
The issues around supply of food and other similar domestic consumables can only be attributed to the security and social upheavals experienced in the main agricultural belts of the nation and the devastating effects of the floods we saw last year which has negatively affected the crop yields in many cases and outrightly wiped out all crops in many others.
We've also seen an increased targeted attack on farming areas by bandits, the faeme/herder crisis has not let up, many farming settlements have been destroyed, many farmers have been em-poverished because of the total loss of crops, many have died many have been maimed and can't return to their fields.
Coupled with the poor logistical, storage and processing facilities for food crops tye country is guaranteed to enter into a crisis.
We also have the issue of the impact of higher OPEC prices for oil and the resultant PMS, Diesel and other by-products urea(fertilizer)
The only solution is for the government to implement a multifaceted strategy around mechanised agriculture, improve the logistics and transport of crops from fields to the marketplace, increase the capacity to convert crops to finished products for the marketplace, and most importantly secure the lives and properties of the farmers. Rubbish & gibberish |
