So that guy who was sentenced to death for defending himself against Fulani Herdsmen was not granted clemency yet someone who carried out premeditated murder was granted because she's from influential family? 😲

KingTom:I won't doubt this one bit! That bobrisky case has shown this and more is possible within Nigerian prison system. |
Tochex101:It's very very bad bro. I know APC and Tinubu supporters will come up with defensive points justifying the clemency/ presidential pardon within the next 24 hours, but to an average Nigeria this is not good for optics at all. 1. Illegal mining has been alleged over time to be responsible for the insecurity in the northwest particularly Zamfara state. Today Tinubu is granting clemency to convicted illegal miners. Is that not rewarding bad behaviour in the society? 2. NAPTIP(the agency responsible for combating human trafficking) spends hundreds of millions yearly on investigation, hiring of lawyers and prosecution of human trafficking offenders but president dey grant convicted human traffickers reduction of sentence. To achieve what exactly? 3. NDLEA spends hundreds of millions to arrest and prosecute drug mules and drug barons. Some of their officers even get shot at while trying to effect arrest against big drug lords ; yet Tinubu is letting go the few ones the agency has successfully convicted. 4. Kidnappers too are getting clemency then we wonder why kidnapping is almost a daily occurrence on major federal highways in the country. What is even worse is the precedent this administration is setting with these ill-advised use of executive power. We may as well wake one day to see ritualists, terrorists and mass murders getting pardoned by another government then they will refer us to the precedent Tinubu set. |
The full list of people Tinubu pardoned and their crime is available in this link https://x.com/imranmuhdz/status/1977043539608351034?s=46 Omo! Na drug dealers, convicted killers and thieves Tinubu pack full the list. 😲 Not less than 55% of the people on the list were either sentenced for running cocaine/cannabis, homicide (killing someone) or thieves involved in illegal mining & armed robbery. I even saw two different human traffickers on the list who had their prison terms reduced significantly and kidnappers too. This kind of politics is really really bad for optics

During the hearings, witnesses narrated how Ms Sanda had allegedly attempted to stab her husband multiple times before his death, while she argued that the killing was not premeditated but the result of a domestic quarrel. At this rate, I won't be surprised if we hear some day Osinachi's husband and Evans the kidnapper gets presidential pardon after being considered as remorseful and repantants in prison. |
iamoyindamola:She served 5 years plus in jail, but like you rightly said she will probably spend it in the VIP wings. Who knows maybe they were allowing her to go out sef. |
izzou:Not at all. Bayo Onanuga clamied the lady's family pressed and appealed for clency for her and that her prison records shows she's been behaved. So Tinubu granted her clemency. That's the summary of Bayo Onanuga's press release on the matter |
iamoyindamola:Aswear! I wonder how the family of the late husband will feel now seeing her going about her normal life after her release |
Who remembered this case back then? The lady who killed her husband ( son of a former PDP chairman) following a domestic dispute. The lady was sentenced to death in 2020 after the prosecution team proved beyond reasonable doubt that she indeed murdered her husband in cold blood. Tinubu has granted her clemency and she will be released or may have been released sef For this life, no allow anybody kill u o.

Omo! 😲 Israel keeper just saved Halaand's two penalties in quick succession. The keeper saved the first one but the ref ordered a retake and he still ended up saving that as well |
izzou:For all our sake, let's hope you are correct. It won't be nice that they would borrow huge amounts of money to award these contracts only for the contractors to not use proper materials |
Emaprince:Dem no really get problem at all. |
Look at the quality of iron they are using for Ore-Ondo expressway o. Later if they ask Umahi question on live TV he will refuse to answer and be forming performatory anger over non-issues . The road is one of the busiest roads in Nigeria with so much vehicular movement on a daily basis , but see the kind iron rod dem dem use in its construction. If rain washes the road off few months after commissioning they will claim it is due to acidic rain that has been falling in recent times 🤦♂️ |
iamoyindamola:Nothing wey person no go see o |
Oyinbo people Craze gan o. Dem Craze pass my imagination of their craziness So there's actually a book titled "Meow" written by Sam Austen. The crazy thing about the book is ; the only word in the book is "Meow" which was repeated over 80,000 times all through the chapters of the book...... Even the people wey review the book on the back page, na "Meow" dem still talk to take review the book.. 🤦♂️ Guess what? The book is sold for $17 on Amazon and there's even an audio version of the book. Oyinbo ya weyrey gan o!

iamoyindamola:I was never a fan at all. |
sleekdot:We should be giving players like that Adams more opportunities. The guy came in and brought breath of fresh air with him. But that our coach I'm still not impressed with him. He used to big attackers to start the match but his wingers and full backs are not sending the ball into the box. I didn't see him work on that all through the first half. |
iamoyindamola:Aswear! Complete overhaul. I don't want to be believe some of these guys at the best Nigerians in their position. We need to move away from dem Ekong, Moses Simon, Ndidi and co. We deserve better than them |
sleekdot:Is it that Amaju and the cabals at NFF select players for these coaches or what exactly? I mean looking at players like Ekong, Ndidi and co, they have no business omin this team at all. |
Match ended 2-1 |
Why are we defending 2-1 lead? 🤷♂️ This coach lasan. We should actually be on the ascendancy instead of capitulating and trying to play like a small EPL team who got lucky to score against a big team trying to defend the goal. |
Leyqute:The truth is Iwobi is an average player. Nigeria is a big country and we don't deserve to be using an average player like him as our AM. Ndidi too is washed and that is affecting our play in ghe middle. Whoever ends up being our coach after this guy should actually go to Europe to scout quality players of Nigerian descent. |
Make we no lie make we no steal, this team I'm watching doesn't deserve to play at the world cup. Which team exactly can we even beat with this kind of uninspiring display? Almost all the teams that will qualify from South America, Europe and even Asia can flog us. Maybe na dem Oceania we can beat Sha. |
Our style of play is boring and turning one's stomach 🤦♂️ |
SportyTV is streaming the match live on YouTube |
raumdeuter:I hope they don't dash the hope of you people in America that may be looking forward to watching them play live at the world cup |
Segedinho: ![]() See people papa foooling themselves all in the name of protesting. Joblessness na bad thing sha! Their principal no gree defend his ministry on live TV, instead make dem bury their head in shame dem dey carry placard against Rufai that is doing his job. |
popizaino:Listening to him speak one can assume he lacks emotional intelligence |
Lukgaf:How can you separate Yoruba culture from religion when you agreed in your first paragraph that Yorubas have always practised ATR long before the advent of Islam and Christianity? Yoruba culture is deeply rooted in ATR and anybody who would be king should either be ready to abide by the culture norms and traditions of the Yorubas (which includes pledging loyalty to the deities) or forget about it. Not everybody can be a king; most Yoruba communities have more than one ruling house which means there's option for the king to be selected/elected from any of the ruling houses and amongst the candidates jostling for the seat. Anybody who would rather practice a foreign religion instead of his people's religion deeply rooted in their culture should not be considered for the throne. Saudi Arabia is Muslim country; they would never install a pagan or religious person other than Muslim as king. So why should other countries/kingdoms/communities bend their own customs to crown a Muslim or Christain king? |
CCTV footage from the robbery incident.
@ Semid4lyfe the picture of the house is in the video. |
