Amethyst101:That's the same rubbish formation they played in the last match. Only God knows where this our coach learn that format in from. He carry two LW inside picth and left the RW empty. |
Instead make we follow them play ball with tactics, we dey try to out muscle them as if that's a tactic that will ever work. Smh |
Own goal |
raumdeuter:If that match were to be played now when a lot of Nigerians bet on outcome of matches especially " under goals" market ; they would've cussed his generation ![]() |
AirBere:Imagine playing for a top club under a manager like Guardiola or Mourinho and u do that nonsense.....chai. I guess that was one of the reasons he didn't make it to top clubs despite some Nigerians claiming he "taught" Ronaldinho most of the skills Ronaldinho does ![]() |
raumdeuter:His team is 3-1 down; instead of picking an attacker out to lay a through pass he decided to showboat , ran into bodies and lost possession which led to his team conceding another goal. Only God knows how frustrated his teammates must have felt. |
raumdeuter:I am telling u that there are oil companies who right from time had their HQ in Lagos; not that they relocated to Lagos. Such companies have their headquarters in Lagos due to the strategic reasons which I mentioned earlier. Some even take it further by having another office in Abuja where they are close to seat of power and can lobby government policies in their favour. |
raumdeuter:Did we watch different videos? Hope Uzodinma lamented about the oil companies not having a registered company in Imo state. Is registered company and headquarters the same thing? |
Raumdeuter see Ur guy Okocha "drimbling" Bolton into trouble in his prime ![]()
|
GloriousGbola:Now u are changing the goal post. Do they have office in PH till date or not? Even at the height of the Niger Delta crisis they still maintained an office there. Nobody is saying they should move their headquarters there. At least I didn't hear Hope Uzodinma say that in his post. |
izzou:The governor is saying those companies have been operating for years and they don't have a registered office in the state. Does it make sense that a company would be drilling in the state and would not have at least one office in the state ? I am not debating whether Imo state is safe or not. I am here in Lagos and can't claim to know whether the state is safe or not , but the fact that the company has been drilling successfully it should tell any body that the company can afford to have at least one registered office in the state. Do you think if the governor decides to go all out to mandate the company to open an office they won't comply? |
raumdeuter:The first thing I said was that oil companies situate their HQ in Lagos for strategic reasons. All these ones u are saying is just u forcing a point. For example NURPC(formerly DPR ) which is a regulator in the industry is located here in VI. Some of the key government agencies they need to liasie with are either headquartered in Lagos or have their operational office in Lagos. They have easy access to coordinate their logistics from Lagos having direct access to Apapa port and Tincan Island port. Majority of the embassies which their expatriates require to visit regularly are in Lagos. Most of the oil companies have their Finance function and Logistics function situated in Lagos. I actually do know what I am saying, and this is not about any agenda. |
GloriousGbola:That is not what happened as narrated by the governor in the video. He is complaining why an oil producing company would not have at least one registered office in the state. As we speak shell has a full fledged office in PH and dem get staff quarters sef. |
raumdeuter:All you said here is premises on "if". The governor didn't allude to that in the video. He never claimed the oil companies relocated their headquarters from Imo state to Lagos. That one na agenda. He only lamented why the oil companies have their headquarters in Lagos. (Which has been the case before the IPOB issue began under Buhari). Hope Uzodinma is saying they don't even have a registered office in Imo state which is quite strange. |
Aftermath of the rain this morning at Maryland, Lagos.
|
Ibime:Hope they got all of them? Make dem go continue their Jihad for the other side |
GloriousGbola:Are you saying there are no oil company staff resident in Imo state an oil producing state? If yes, then how do the oil companies Hope Uzodinma was referring to in the video carry out exploration in their oil wells situated within the state? Do they carry out the exploration via Bluetooth from their headquarters in Lagos? What I know is oil companies have their head office/corporate office in Lagos for commercial and strategic reasons. It has always been so even before the whole insurgency/IPOB matter. Just the same way those companies have a commercial office situated in Dubai. |
TrebleChamp:You have only repeated what has already been said before; that APC government constructed the road and completed it after 14 years. |
CrystalTiger:I thought one of the the essence of the new tax bill is to address issues such as the one he is raising in the video. I thought the reason they were celebrating the new tax bill is to ensure states like Imo get tax of companies like the ones he mentioned in the video that have head office in Lagos but operational base in Imo. Is he saying that has not been addressed by the new tax law? |
izzou:Better put; he focused on areas that have always been abandoned by previous governments. While other governors were focusing on VI, Surulere, Lagos Island, etc....Ambode chose to focus on Agege, Alagbado, Abule Egba, Ekoro, Badagry, etc. There are some places in Alimosho that are densely populated but have never felt the impact of government for years till Ambode decided to focus on them. |
GloriousGbola:I am not an expert in internal wranglings within the APC so I don't know whether he decided to continue or discontinue any project but the fact is the the Fashola administration was actually supposed to have completed the phase 2 of that Badagry Expressway in early 2015 When the contract was awarded in January 2012 to Messrs China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation, CCECC, the Lagos State government fixed January 2015, a 36-month period for its completion. That being said, we can't claim Lagos mainland is densely congested and at the same time chastise Ambode for Opening up Epe. He did the same thing in Alimosho opening up Aboru, Ipaja-Abule Egba-Ekoro road-Ikola-Kola/Ait corridor. Sanwoolu is also following that pattern by constructing and commissioning the linke bridge bewteen Lasu-Igando road and Baruwa/Ayobo-Ipaja . Nothing wrong is opening up roads in rural areas in a densely populated state like Lagos. |
semid4lyfe:It is actually Dangote that is to blame for this issue not the Unions. Nigerian Labour laws allows for staff of oil companies to belong to respective labour unions like PENGASSEN, NUPENG, etc. Dangote banning his staff from belonging to these labour unions is in contravention of labour laws. The only way these unions can force his hand is to go on strike since strike is the only language Nigerian government and employers understand. As regards ur last paragraph, that is a blatant lie; nobody is forcing Dangote to sell PMS at a dictated price. In fact, marketers who import their PMS are willing to sell below the price Dangote is selling. As at This past Saturday I bought PMS at 845 per liter at an independent marketer filling station along Lasu-Iba road, while MRS that sells Dangote PMS still sells for N860 and NNPC sells for N865. |
GloriousGbola:He didn't do any wrong fixing Epe; In fact he should be credited for opening that corridor up. The investment in real estate along that corridor that we see today is as a result of him opening that place up with the road project. Epe has never been an hamlet, there are government institutions and infrastructure in Epe; consecutive governments have overlooked Epe for too long. Nobody chastised Fashola for fixing Surulere, so why condemn Ambode for opening up Epe? Perhaps if the amount they give back to their godfather as kickbacks for allowing them rule in peace as governor is reduced, they wouldn't have to ration state funds amongst competing projects. Maybe if they are allowed to use most of the state revenue for actual governance, they won't have to abandon one project to focus fund on another one. |
GloriousGbola:Ambode only ruled for 4 years out of the 14 years the road project lasted na. Anyways, If u check the facebook post, the caption of the video gives credit to APC as being the government responsible for constructing the road. The post didn't say whether it was Fashola, Ambode or Sanwoolu that constructed it. I have no issues with that at all because indeed APC government was responsible for the construction from start to finish. I am only grateful they completed the road even tho it lasted 14 years. A win is a win. |
Silentgroper:Mention the year they finished third na. If Bolton finished third, who finished 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th that year ? You are literally claiming Bolton played in the Champions league which is 100% false. Their best finish ever was 6th and it was the Europa league they qualified to play in. |
popizaino:Thank God they finished it at last. They constructed this road for almost 14 years. It was started under Fashola's government around 2010 or thereabouts. I see shege for that road Sha. |
raumdeuter:He say Bolton a na top club 😂. Club that was finishing 8th, 6th and even 17th at some point sef. |
raumdeuter:I guess it was Nigerian fans who encouraged him/led him on to believe he was doing the right thing each time they cheer him when he is showboating. The coaches too contributed by not cautioning him; perhaps they fear he and his goons will rebel and down tools. |
raumdeuter:I believe he didn't play under coaches who were really ambitious and wanted to win something. If not, they would've changed it for him with all those unnecessary shaku-shaku he's doing while his team doesn't have at least a 2-goal lead. I can't imagine he will be playing under modern coaches like Klopp or Guardiola, and he will be doing that nonsense when he should be launching the ball into the opponent's box. |
timbros:Strikers are judged by goals they scored on the pitch in their career, not pooling booth award. Adebayor scored far more goals than Diouf can ever think of. His work rate saw him move from Ligue 2 to Ligue 1, to EPL and to La Liga. Diouf was busy dropping poverty numbers for a striker and ended up not scoring a single goal in a season at a top club like Liverpool. Shame! |
timbros:Is Togo bigger than Senegal ? Oya tell us why Adebayor has more international goals than Diouf considering the fact that Adebayor played for Togo and Diouf played for Senegal. |
