afrodoc:He probably thinks we have forgotten all about Diouf who was best known for his indiscipline on the pitch rather than the number of gaols he scored. There's a reason timbros is running away from Talking about the number of goals both players scored as strikers. |
timbros:Guy U are stanning a Diouf that didn't score one single goal in a seaosn playing for a Top side like Liverpool. It is a 4cking disgrace bro! A striker for that matter, not a defender or goalkeeper o. Ederson wey be goalkeeper sef dey score in a season ![]() |
timbros:No, show me the number of goals scored by Diouf in his club career and also show the number of goals he scored at the national team level playing for a star studded Senegal team. Let us check who is the most prolific goal scorer between the two of them. You are the one who falsely claimed Adebayor didn't do anything apart from playing for big teams and I had to show you his achievement with African Minnows like Togo to clear that false claim. What he did is tantamount to a single player dragging minnows like Lichtsteiner or Luxembourg to the World cup |
timbros:So that's the only thing u saw there abi? Why didn't you comment on the fact that Adebayor scored 11 goals to drag Togo to their first and only world cup appearance? Why din't you speak to the fact that Adebayor performed at the top teams he played for while Diouf flopped scandalously? Diouf kor, Djemba Djemba ni. |
timbros:You said "I still haven't seen anything that you guys mention Adebayor did aside playing for bigger teams". Now I showed you what he did playing for a smaller team and you are asking me what happened in the main tournament. ![]() At least I have been able to show you that Adebayor was not just about playing for big teams, he was a consistent performer on the pitch both in his national colours and that of the clubs he represented. Same can't be said of Diouf. |
AirBere:I think he's just using Nostalgia to rate Diouf higher than the performance he displayed throughout his career. Adebayor was runner up in the race for golden boot behind C.Ronaldo in the EPL, he had EPL goal of the season to his credit in 07/08 and also made the EPL team of that same year. Na the person he dey use compare Diouf be that. |
timbros:Adebayor scored 11 goals in the 2006 World cup qualifiers Playing for a Minnow team like Togo. He dragged them to the world cup being the highest goal scorer. They played against superior teams like Mali, Zambia, Congo, Liberia and Senegal in the qualifiers o. If that doesn't add a feather to Adebayor's cap, I wonder what will convince u Adebayor was a better player than Diouf on the pitch |
timbros:They've already told you how inconsistent Diouf was in his footballing performance on the pitch, you were referred to how he flopped at top clubs he played for and you were also informed about how he only had 2 great years and that was it. Somehow u still believe he is better than Adebayor who was a performing starter at not one , not two big clubs. The only reason why I mentioned Diouf as not being the best Senegalese player is to buttress their point that Diouf is not all that. He is not the player you are painting him to be at all. We watched him play and we watched others play. Adebayor single handedly dragged Togo to the 2006 FIFA world cup ; he played in Togolese side that didn't have much superstars playing in Europe and he ended up being the highest goal scorer in the African qualifiers for the 2006 World cup. |
afrodoc2:Gbam! Even Senegalese would not pick Diouf as the best Senegalese that donned their national team colours |
OkpaNsukkaisBae:The rate at which people die under this administration due to banditry and terrorism is alarming. Under Buhari APC lied that Boko Haram has been technically defeated yet Boko Haram is still Kpa-ing people in 2025. It is indeed easy to stay on the sideline and be yabbing the president for being clueless. Now he has travelled to Europe for vacation while terrorism is not abating. |
andrewbaba44:I watched him play and there was nothing spectacular about him; He's not all that. I rate Mane his fellow Senegalese far ahead of him. |
andrewbaba44:Nobody really rates Diouf like that. Maybe his Senegalese brothers rate him high Sha, but I don't think any other person rate him like that. |
raumdeuter:Salah Eto'o Kanu Drogba Adebayor Okocha Diouf |
Make Sowore and FG just dey whine themselves dey go in a bid to distract Nigerians from registering their opposition to the proposed 5% tax on Petrol. |
Leyqute:So who will frustrate man utd fans? Amuru the coach? ![]() |
swiz123:That one na Ur palava jor. Nothing concern me with England player when Naija dey play. I only care about what Rice plays in an arsenal shirt and he made PFA 2025. That's all that matters 🚶 |
See the goal mouth scramble gidigbo goal we scored sef |
Kilishihunter:It just seem the guy is dying to put his name in Nigerians' black book |
andrewbaba44:Aswear! Man utd of last season and this super eagles na the same thing...I've not watched their match for a long time now ; today I decided to take time to watch them na eyesore. |
Amethyst101:Even if we manage to qualify, na rubbish we go play for there and we will be whipped silly. We don't have any football identity/pattern of play at all. It's shameful we have so many top players across Europe and then our national team sucks like this. |
This nonsense our goalkeeper dey do fighting these Rwandan attackers will sooner or later boomerang. He should just keep his head in the game and play without getting himself worked up. How can you be so confrontational with players of a team that just want to be spoilers? |
GloriousGbola:The man gives the vibe of those old school 419 guys. One of them was once our neighbor growing up. At some point he was producing Vaseline (perfume jelly) inside his 3 bedroom flat. Another time he brought home one rough and rugged oyinbo and one Lagos chief as his business partner. There were times police will come and look for him to arrest and won't meet him. All of these happened late 90's / early 2000's. At some point the man just packed from his flat after owing his landlord like 3 years rent. Around 2014 we just heard that the man is now a big man. He's now a big contractor who gets contract from government. The Alhaji they used to call him back then with ordinary mouth, he has eventually gone for hajj, sponsored his wife and daughter too to hajj and they are now swimming in money.(allegedly) I know people like that man will be doing Aspire to perspire to maguire, but only few people will know he was full fledged 419 back in the days. |
How can Moses Simon who is supposed to be right winger be playing through the middle? These people just need to spread ball across the field to catch Ola Aina alone without Moses covering for him and we will be toast. |
izzou:He will claim he has cash tied down in various projects across Nigeria. That's the lamba he will most likely sell. Scott calling him out for months for owing his staff is already a big red flag that this so called bussines he's doing is only prosperous in the media and not in real life |
Which formation are we even playing? There's nobody playing right wing for us. That place just seems empty. |
raumdeuter:People like him are only following the template they met in the public sector. They just want to do business like their Predecessors. Like GloriousGbola pointed out earlier this morning, the current enugu governor is and Oil and gas magnate. The man owns pinnacle oil and has enough experience contracts and procurement. The man is not a typical naija politician or public sector guy ; he will deal with Sujimoto like they deal.with thieves. The guy will most likely look for money to reimburse the government or strike a plea bargain that will favor the state else he will do jail. |
raumdeuter:Seyi Vodi ![]() During his recent birthday ceremony, he bought a rolls royce and dedicated his multi billion property. Baba spent so much time doing Aspire to perspire, trying to convince the general public with PR that it was sewing of kaftan and senator materials that made him a multi billionaire with properties in the choicest areas of FCT. I know some people will believe him Sha. |
GloriousGbola:Everybody dey stand on Tinubu mandate via Wicked Wike's directives ,D. What choice do they have sef? Wike that brought Fubara to his knees, na for them to fall in line be the only option dem get na |
ouzo1:Na to follow angel fight God's creation to God's creation. 🥊. ![]() |
iamoyindamola:😂😂 Na this people go dey in charge of local government administration. |
I learnt these are the new set of councilors in Rivers state which Wike imposed via the s-election that happened recently. Ibime come and see Ur councillors ![]()
|
Akinlot:The bank is guaranteeing he would perform and deliver on the contract as based on the 50% advance he received from the government. If he fails to deliver, the state government which is the principal will call the bond and the bank that guaranteed the contractor's performance will be held liable to reimburse the government. The fact that the state government paid Zenith bank instead of jaiz bank that guaranteed the contract shows a lot that is wrong in this country. Somebody on Enugu state government is also complicit. But I don't think that matters now, it seems the government will deal with him with EFCC. |
