At least I have been able to show you that Adebayor was not just about playing for big teams, he was a consistent performer on the pitch both in his national colours and that of the clubs he represented. Same can't be said of Diouf.

Adebayor was runner up in the race for golden boot behind C.Ronaldo in the EPL, he had EPL goal of the season to his credit in 07/08 and also made the EPL team of that same year. Na the person he dey use compare Diouf be that.

Adebayor scored 11 goals in the 2006 World cup qualifiers Playing for a Minnow team like Togo. He dragged them to the world cup being the highest goal scorer. They played against superior teams like Mali, Zambia, Congo, Liberia and Senegal in the qualifiers o.

They've already told you how inconsistent Diouf was in his footballing performance on the pitch, you were referred to how he flopped at top clubs he played for and you were also informed about how he only had 2 great years and that was it. Somehow u still believe he is better than Adebayor who was a performing starter at not one , not two big clubs.

The only reason why I mentioned Diouf as not being the best Senegalese player is to buttress their point that Diouf is not all that. He is not the player you are painting him to be at all. We watched him play and we watched others play. Adebayor single handedly dragged Togo to the 2006 FIFA world cup ; he played in Togolese side that didn't have much superstars playing in Europe and he ended up being the highest goal scorer in the African qualifiers for the 2006 World cup.

Diouf had 2 years and that is it. Before 2001 he did nothing. After 2002 he did nothing.

It is on paper you can compare him to Adebayor. The clubs Diouf played for before 2002 were otu oshi. The clubs he played for after 2004 were otu oshi.

Adebayor played for Monaco in 2003 and in 2011 he was playing for Madrid and 2014 he was still playing for Spurs.

The fact that the state government paid Zenith bank instead of jaiz bank that guaranteed the contract shows a lot that is wrong in this country. Somebody on Enugu state government is also complicit. But I don't think that matters now, it seems the government will deal with him with EFCC.
