3 years ago you lamented badly about how Nigeria police are demons who successfully ran a shake down on you because they saw LinkedIn on your phone. You called them demons for not only shaking you down, but also having issues with your irreligious asss.

Today you are telling us " If you have a problem with NPF, you either don't respect yourself or are too greedy, not wanting to give what belongs to Caesar to Caesar.".

So tell us which is which? Did Nigeria police suddenly stop being demons? Or you eventually became the criminal they labeled you back then, so you stopped being greedy by giving what belongs to their Caesar?

Even if you're criminal, as long as you no kill person, if you respect yourself and also give to Caesar what is meant for Caesar, NPF will not have a problem with you.

If you want to know how bleeped up Nigeria truly is try visiting any government institution. I've never believed our policemen are demons despite complaints from people over the years until I experienced it myself. Folks can you believe policemen saw LinkedIn on my phone and said that is a sign that I'm into CyberCrime? I tried to explain what I do on LinkedIn but everything I said fell on deaf ears. These guys kept me there asking me questions for hours, when I noticed the whole thing was going to another direction I simply bribed them. I knew that was they wanted all the while but I didn't want to give them a penny, but I realized if I keep arguing with them they might do something dangerous.

They even started asking me which church I attend, when I told them I'm an irreligious person that is neither a Christian or Muslim, you guys need to see the anger on their faces. It was as if not being Christian or Muslim is a crime itself, I spent about an hour listening to sermons on why I should choose Islam or Christianity. This is not the first time I'm experiencing this religious intolerance in a government institution. When I went to collect my passport at the immigration office some years back a huge scene was created because I said I don't belong to any religion. I'm just curious, are government institutions supposed to be places where such fvckery take place?

One of my lecturers back then in Uni said Nigeria is a perfect example of how a country shouldn't be and I can't help but agree with him now.

It will be very very difficult for any judge to buy the boy's story that brake failure was the reason he run over the policeman . Policeman wey u dey see clearly for road wey get speed bumps . And the incident happened during teh day sef.

There are a lot of dumb people online in this generation; ignorant but very loud.

I also saw their comments borne out of ignorance. Even when knowledgeable, tried correcting them, they kept arguing.

The boy is in serious trouble and will do jail term even if his lawyer is Afe Babalola or Wole Olanipekun. There were witnesses to the crime, they saw how he slowed down and then decided to run the olopa over. Even after the crime , it took witnesses and other policemen to chase after him before he was apprehended.

The best his lawyers can do is to seek his conviction for manslaughter and not murder. They will be arguing he didn't intend to kill the man (murder) but only ended un-aliving him due to negligence (manslaughter).

I think for this one, it is ignorance plus lack of trust in regulatory agencies that is making people commit crime while trying to warn people about fake products.

For example, when people buy drinks, toothpaste, cream, etc from supermarket/superstores, they are assuming that item was sourced either directly from the manufacturer or their authorized distributors. The fact that those items also have NAFDAC reg number makes people believe they got the authentic product.

Now when they use the product and it turns out to be fake, their 1st instinct is to call out the brand . Ideally, if people had trust in agencies like NAFDAC what they ought to do is call their attention to the product while highlighting the product's batch number and supposed NAFDAC reg number.

Personally, I feel for NAFDAC to combat the menace of fake/adulterated products, they need to be more proactive. They need to not wait till people buy fake products and call their attention to it.

For example, NAFDAC can partner with agencies like Customs that have records of equipment, food processing machines, printing machines, etc. being imported into this country. Some of those equipment is being used by people who make fake products. They can always review those data, check the equipment that ended up with food and drug manufacturers that registered with NAFDAC and those that didn't. The findings of this data analysis can be a base for them to fish out a lot of producers of fake products in our country. I believe they can do it if indeed they want to; it is not rocket science. This should be how to tackle the menace of fake products proactively .

Of a truth, one needs to be very very careful when intervening in other people's marital issue. That is because it is always easy for two people sleeping together to sort whatever issues they have and turn back to label a genuinely concerned 3rd party as meddlesome interloper.

I once mentioned how a former neighbor and his wife fought for hours while I was indoors and didn't try to check on them( I no dey watch fight and I no dey settle fight) . Few days after their fight, the same neighbor posted same wife as the best woman in the world on his status. He celebrated her as the mother of his wonderful kids on that Mother's day!

Imagine If I had gone to intervene and in the process of settling their fight, I had painted the woman villain? Shebi na so the man go still celebrate her as the best thing that ever happened to him and the woman go dey see me for staircase dey hiss at my fooolish self

I saw this on the crime section of nairaland. The author raised an alarm online on a case of domestic violence being perpetuated by a polytechnic lecturer against his wife.

He thought he was doing the right thing until the lecturer had police arrest him and the victim (the man's wife) made a video denying she was being abused physically by her husband.

Before anybody says why can't the people find alternative way of disposing their waste other than dumping it in public places, you should know that burning of waste in Lagos state is criminalized; patronizing cart pushing refuse collectors is also illegal.

The point is that dragging an ordinary Twitter user into a criminal case over a tweet about your wife can reasonably be described as bullying. Being charged to court doesn't suddenly make that criticism invalid. He's only doing it to flex his might over such a non issue and with someone of his influence involve the boy is already fighting a losing battle.

The point is: There is law that criminalizes making false and damaging statements against fellow citizens. The law allows for anybody who feels a crime has been committed against their person on any social media platform to petition the police, allow the police arrest the suspect and prosecute the suspect on behalf of the state.

Be it someone of influence or not, every citizen has a right to their reputation not to be tarnished by another person making unfounded allegation. The boy claimed Tony Elumelu's wife is adulterous while she's not, that's a crime against the state according to Nigerian law. The boy is a perp and not a victim.

There's this political maturity lacking in Gbadebo that Funsho Doherty seem to embody. I can listen to the man talk about the current problems of governance in Lagos and profer solution with maturity all day long.

I'm not a fan of Gbadebo and I don't think many of Lagos based voters would fancy him from all I've heard from him since 2022 till date.

I want a change of government in Lagos state, but I certainly don't think a change of government to Gbadebo as governor is what the state needs

Doherty has been keeping the Lagos state government on its toes by not only pointing out the wastefulless in government spending, he's also backing his criticism up with workable solutions.

Gbadebo won't win any election in Lagos with his past antecedents and the perception most Lagosians have come to develop about him.
