raumdeuter:Imagine two center backs lying on the floor while an attacker waltz through the 18 yard box 🤦♂️ |
raumdeuter:Once upon a time we were parading the clowns Mustafi and Papasthapopulous . No matter how the attack struggle upfront , Mustafi will find a way to undo their work either causing a penalty or getting turned inside out by Zaha 🥵. The importance of defence cannot be overemphasized . |
GloriousGbola:Good! At least u see that the Benue state governor is building and a commissioning a tennis court out of borrowed funds |
Sportsweb:Shebi we dey tell u before , u dey do strong head . ![]() |
GloriousGbola:False equivalence . The state of Benue is battling serious insecurity and the governor himslef confirmed at least 8 LGA 's are at the forefront of insecurity issue in the state . Commissioning a tennis court under this present circumstance is just a case of misplaced priority . Between me and u, the amount expended on construction and commissioning of the tennis court can buy at least 2 patrol van for the state security agency to at least provide usable information for police , army and other federal security agencies . People commend Amotekun in other parts of South west and LSNC in Lagos for their ancillary services to the security agencies . The respective governors invest in them. Nothing concern Benue state with a recreational tennis court at this point while people are scattered in IDP camps all over the state . The excuse that the governor doesn't want to go outside his budget doesn't even make sense because most of the state budgets in Nigeria are financed by borrowings sef. |
GloriousGbola:Na people wey dey alive or don chop dey think about recreational activities. That's just the governor wasting the state's scarce resources with a smug on his face . |
GloriousGbola:So because he wants to work within the state's budget without growing unsustainable debt means he should be building and commissioning tennis court ? Is it not better he doesn't spend the money at all if he's trying to work within budget than spending it on frivolous thing like Tennis court ? Like WTF ! Benue state has so many problems and I don't think building a tennis court should top the priority list at all. Benje state is one of the most security challenged state in Nigeria and he's busy cutting ribbon over a tennis court. Smh |
afrodoc2:That chaos causer is just a Guendouzi with English passport . When I see chelsea fans arguing about attack and defence I just remember Arsenal when Arteta newly joined . He took his time to ease out terrible defenders like Mustafi , Luiz , Papasthapopulous , Kolasinac . He let go fraud parading themselves as midfielders like Willock and Guendouzi. He then started adding attackers to complement the base already on ground. Chelsea already have good midfielders in Palmer, Caicedo and Lavia who is majorly injured like u pointed out. They just need quality defenders and one or two attackers to complement the ones they have and they will be back in the top 4. But this their current coach sef na gbef |
swiz123:This is a very reasonable take on the matter . Chelsea current defenders can't defend to save their lives . Get one or two good center backs , get a good striker and things will change for better . |
Spy360:Exactly |
Dollywood:That is because Saudi is a 4cking oil rich country; they don't pay personal income tax in Saudi . It has nothing to do with whether u are a footballer or a Surgeon. Generally they don't pay personal income tax in Saudi |
sod09:There's so much decay in this country over time . It will take a miracle for things to get better |
Roland17:This has been happening for decades . My mum experienced same when she birthed me. One of my uncles on the father side Donated blood while my mum was on the bed after she had lost much blood and still my dad had to pay for the blood at that same lasuth/Ayinke house at Ikeja . She told me how traumatic the whole thing was cos that my uncle actually fainted after donating the blood . I just dey respect the bros anyhow cos I know how he came through for me when he didn't even know what I will turn out to be |
Dollywood:The rich always subsidize the poor , that's how tax works in the western world . That's why the players negotiate contracts that allows them have a luxurious life after deducting taxes |
Itsrm:. But we agree the "losses" are no longer occasional but regular occurrence . That's what matters |
Dollywood:It doesn't change the fact that he got a good contract for his age and talent . That's the crux of the matter . All these Amala turning is just by the way . 10k per week for his services is a good and fair deal to all parties . Don't cry more than the bereaved . |
Itsrm I just pin for here . I dey wait for u to claim say na "ocassionally " cheslea fans dey call for Pochettihnho sack o . 🚶♂️ |
Dollywood:If u know that, then u should also know that Nwaneri as a 17 year old is getting a contract that places him above professionals in the financial circle who spent years in the university while he just wrote his GSCE as a teenager . The crux of this whole matter is that u are wrong thinking he's not getting paid more than average as a teenager considering his talent. There are so many footballers older than him who don't even get paid as much as 10k gross . For your information, Nwaneri is getting the same salary as man utd's Kobbie Mainoo on a gross . |
Dollywood:Says who ? Neymar signed his first deal With Nike at the age of 13. Go figure |
Dollywood:That's how tax work generally . The higher u are on the food chain, the higher ur tax is . What I pay now as tax is higher than what I pay 10 years ago even in naija . That's why it's called pay as you earn |
iamoyindamola:Exactly , playing in a big club like arsenal makes him open to different sponsorship deals from different companies |
Dollywood:U still haven't answered my question ; Is it only footballers that pay tax ? Don't other professionals pay tax ? |
Jodera:I wonder how much he thinks the regukar players of mid table teams earn sef . Aldingra earns 12,500 weekly o and Gilmore earns 20,000 weekly before tax Arsenal gives a 17 year old 10k as his first salary he's saying it's not much . |
Dollywood:I don't understand what u are going on and about sef. 10k per week gross amount to 5k per week net for both footballers and doctors right ? Now how many doctors , nurses , engineers , tech guys and finance guys do u know that earn 10k gross/5k net per week as entry level salary in the UK ? Let's see if the 10k is a lot or not |
GloriousGbola:As in.... I really don't understand how person will just go on emotional diatribe without even thinking of his career first. I everything oerson supposed dey first think of his source of income first before anything else . |
CrystalTiger:He had it coming . I don't really understand why people get emotional making unguarded utterances that can cut off their source of livelihood in this jet age. It must be village people . He's a guy that's still coming up in his field , he should learn how to avoid controversial political matters . Had it been he's planning of remaining in the Nigerian space where lawlessness reigns supreme , nothing would happen to him. But someone on the radar of an international organization like FIFA should know when to jump and pass some controversial issues irrespective of his political leanings . |
Dollywood:It is still much . How many professionals do u know in the UK that earns 10k pounds on a weekly basis ? Is it doctors? Tech guys? or finance guys? The boy is just 17 and that 10k is a good starting place for him |
Toeyean1507:I am very much online; just got tired of the trolling going on here. It appears some posters chose to feed the trolls and they overran the thread eventually . I just got tired of the whole thing and face my front. I still come here to learn one or two recipes dropped , but I'm done posting here . |
Iamoyindamola I enjoyed Criminal code ; it was all action packed from beginning to end. I love how it ended , it ended in a climax and makes one yarn for season 2 . |
TrebleChamp:We had a former neighbour who was addicted to pool . This is not even what someone told me , it's something I witnessed . On the day of his first daughters wedding, everywhere was buzzing and the reception was about to start only for him to be nowhere to be found. U know they used an open space where they erected tent close to the house so we heard the MC saying " eje ki baba iyawo jo wole wa " ( Let the groom father dance in ) . After a few seconds they jumped to another item on the program when he was not forthcoming . While on an errand for my mum not too long from that time ; I saw this man coming out of the pool shop close to the place I ran the errand . The man had to go play that weekend game before going to do bride's father duty . U don see that kind addiction before ? The crazy thing about pool is those baba, u never know whether they actually make money from it or not. They just remain the same |
izzou:I saw the video too. I believe it's only a matter of time before he gets arrested ; he obviously doesn't know he's committing a crime doing that |
iamoyindamola:We can only wish that May the gods be with him. I don't trust Nigerian Army at all, dem fit do Oba strong thing . |
