A40:Personally I don't see verydarkman doing anything Spectacular ; I just see him as a busy body chasing clout . For the poisonous cream issues he started with; In the first place I see those buying those creams as extremely fooolish people . One random person who has not taken his or product to NAFDAC lab for them to test and endorse it will be selling a cream calling it organic and u will buy later to complain the cream is poisonous . As for other topical issues he talks about , it's just unfortunate that this age we have so many people who have sub-lease their reasoning ability to influencers and clout chasers online. If their fave says A , then that's the gospel truth . I understand that those cult followings get into the head of some of those influencers leading them to even delve into issues they are best staying out of. I agree with u that illegal detention is illegal detention . Nobody deserves to be detained illegally whether fiend or foe . If a person is not a flight risk nor a terrorist who is a danger to the society there's no need holding them against their will and violating their fundamental human rights . Whatever relief anybody sought against any party u feel has injured u legally, u can always have it tabled before a court. |
raumdeuter:I posted that in response to Larrid.e who claimed the police have right to detain suspected criminals within a certain time frame . The lawyer of a suspect has now come out to sue the police for illegally detaining his client . It's on that basis I made the assertion. M There's no need jumping the gun and trying to argue over anything. Let the respective parties slug it out in court like it's done in a sane society . At least everybody don collect lawyers |
WhoDeyHause:Verydarkman drew enough hate to himslef with his cockiness over different controversial issues . Those u see wishing he rots in detention are those who are tired of his misogyny , cockiness , loud-mouthedness and several other character he exhibits online . He has managed to draw hate to himself from different demographic. But las las illegal detention is illegal detention . No matter what angle anybody chooses to look at things . I myself don't even bother watching his videos , but detaining him for a week without charge is illegal |
raumdeuter:I'm not the lawyer that filed the illegal detention suit. A lawyer who has the correct timing has filed a lawsuit to that effect . I can't be here arguing with u a situation neither me nor u has full and accurate details of . |
larride:This is u assuming without having the fact. The Effiong guy is her lawyer and he filled a case seeking redress for violation of her fundamental right over an illegal detention . That's the information out there which we are to work with and not " If's " . Whether they instituted a criminal case against her immediately or not is immaterial . The police going about trying to arrest her in January after a November court order barring them from doing so is an illegality . U can decide to agree or disagree , but it is what it is . Asking what the man has done wrong is subjective depending on what side of the divide u are looking at it from. The case is already in court, May the best team win. The police should desist from arrogating powers they do not have legally to themselves . If a judge does not order the lady's arrest they shouldn't be seen trying to illegally detain her going forward . Let the warring parties slug it out in both the civil and criminal proceedings . Simple ! |
larride:Okay let me break it down again for u. 1. Chioma was arrested in Spetember on a Sunday and released on Tuesday. That's definitely not 48 hours legally allowed for the police to detain a suspect. That's illegality number 1 from the Nigerian police. 2. Chioma's lawyers obviously advised her that her fundamental human rights was trampled upon by the police and she has a right to seek redress in court and also jettison whatever agreement she consented to under duress while in detention 3. Her legal team got a court order that barred the police from further arresting her in November, but didn't stop the police from instituting any legal action against her. Why did the police sought to arrest her in January if not that they enjoy so much impunity and people always clap them on? Can the police not proceed to arraign her for criminal defamation and now wait for her to either appear or not appear in court? 4. Yes the lady and her legal team instituted a civil case against the Erisco man but it does not stop the police from going ahead with the criminal case against her. Neither did any law say she must be in police custody before they try her for criminal defamtion. The thing is if people decide to put their emotions aside, they will see the case for what it is. Aside from the fact that the man feels his company's reputation is at stake; he also feels his ego is being bruised. It's no surprise tho cos most Nigerians with money (and even those without moeny but ego) would feel same way in his shoes as typical naija big man. |
iamoyindamola:People who are nuisance will always be nuisance no matter how they try to hide that. I always avoid them except the fairly known ones who are foolish enough to mention me and chat shiiit. The less known ones I just ignore them completely. That ediot that refer to u as weyrey has several monikers and has always spammed my mention from the food thread wayback. I just ignore his silly asss most times and he fizzles away like fart |
larride:Did the Nigerian law say if a person jumps bail the police can detain u illegally ? If the police would not obey a court order, then what law are they relying on to claim they are maintaining "law" and order? When u say jump bail what do u mean? Did the case come up in court and the lady refused to appear at the hearing? Court pronouncements in themselves are laws. Why is nobody hounding Peter Odili u mentioned after a court order barred the security agencies from arresting or prosecuting him? The thing is in Nigeria we let emotions take the better of us and we tend to argue in favour of what side of the divide that favors us. The man has a case of criminal defamation he wants the police to pursue on his behalf . Fine! The offence is bailable; Fine! Let the man and his company mount pressure on the police to accelerate the court to hear the case while the lady goes to the hearing from her home anytime the case comes up. The police don't have powers to just lock someone up indefinitely when a judge has barred them from doing so. It is simply illegal. But I understand this is Nigeria tho. U are right the lady had a chance to let the things go the Nigerian way by apologizing, but since she declined to that offer it doesn't necessarily mean she should now be detained illegally na. |
Ihebu4chelsea:E be like say madness dey ur kidney . Am I responsible for ur useless team languishing in the 11th position ? We can visibly see who is not normal between me and u who crying more than Halland in Gabriel's pocket . Cry more ! |
larride:See ehn, Nigeria is a funny place and the more u look the less u see . I'm not a fan of defaming a business , but if u feel ur business is being defamed u should go through the legal route of seeking redress in court . From what I've observed thus far, Chioma made a post that the man found to be defamatory to his business brand and he wrote a petition for the police to prosecute her for criminal defamation ( I may be wrong , but this is what I think happened) Now from that man's video I watched in which he claimed he stepped in to have things between Chioma and the erisco man resolved out of court, it appears the erisco man agreed with that and wanted Chioma to write an apology so he can tell police to withdraw the case. Obviously Chioma left the police detention and Effiong being a human rights lawyer advised her not to abide by the police station agreement because the initial detention was illegal and even the agreement they had was illegal cos she was under duress. Effiong proceeded to obtain a court order to bar the police from further arresting Chioma on the same issue in November 2023 but Nigerian police acting true to character refused to obey that court order. All of these boils down to lawlessness that is prevalent in Nigeria . Even people who stole billions of naira in this country go from their home to go for hearing . As we speak Fayose has a 6.9 billion case against him by EFCC for stealing public funds that should've been put to public use and he's going about his day to day normal life. If the Nigerian police has a criminal case against the Chioma lady for defaming Erisco foods, they should prosecute her while she goes to court from her home . The company has a right to test their case in court . Since the man has said he will rather die than let her go , then let him do things the right way instead of Nigerian police acting as tho they have more power than a law court |
He misses his regular customers 😂

iamoyindamola:U dey mind them ? It pains them to the marrow that they can't walk in here this morning and be gloating at how we lost scandalously to city on their home front. If e easy, make dem tell their team to collect 4 pints out of possible 6 from a city coached by Pep. |
Anybody that wants to cry can as well find crying partners of like minds, donate ur tears to the nearest farming settlement to boost food production in Nigeria at this trying times ![]() |
Jodera:One can decide to be pessimistic and call it bus parking , but an optimist will see it as a top coach having all the necessary answer to the tactics of another top coach . |
Theflint1:I want to believe the guy is presently not in Nigeria . I believe that's the only way they've not gotten him this far. In Nigeria criminals are close to the seat of power and they use this closeness to their very own advantage |
afrodoc2:Nigeria is a jungle and the strongest animals prey on the weakest . I watched that Facebook video posted up there and from the video I noticed the man explaining how he intervened to get Chioma released . The man also truthfully stated he didn't know wassup with Chioma afterwards since she didn't answer his calls neither did she post any apology as agreed at the police station. From all indications it's obvious the Chioma lady also sought legal advice after the September 2023 incident which made her not want to honor whatever agreement she had with Erisco and the police under duress . Below is her lawyer claiming she actually got a court order barring the police from arresting her . On Tuesday, Inibehe Effiong, Okoli’s lawyer, in a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter) said some police officers invaded Okoli’s house at about 7 am and attempted to re-arrest her.If not that naija is a jungle , why will the police disregard a valid court order and then claim they are maintaining law and order ? |
Ibime:Ta what cost to his business ? So many people didn't even know any Chioma did any product review till the whole case of illegal detention started making the headline . I just feel the man gave her unnecessary publicity which is hurting his business negatively now. Hopefully they all find a way to sort themselves sha . All these talks of burying anybody won't do his own business any good . His competitors whom he thought were sponsoring Chioma initially will now milk this negative PR and make sure be spends serious money trying to clear his name. In business no be everything be gragra |
iamoyindamola:I don't think he played for a draw, instead he played not to lose . He knew losing will be devastating and the only way to lose in that match is to try and open up to match city man to man. Pep literally packed midfield with Rodri, Kovacic and De Bruyne with Foden and Bernado on the wings waiting to let fly and have a go at our Fullbacks. It was only normal for our own Wingers to always drop deep to help our full backs and frustrate Pep's game plan That game was a tactical masterpiece . More like a chess game. If u noticed that Pep quickly observed he was getting beat at his own game , he had to bring in Doku and Graelish to further explore the wings since the midfield was getting choked ; Arteta had to introduce Tomiyasu for Kiwior who was getting bested and Trossard to stretch the city wings as well. Arteta knew what he was doing and Pep knew what he was doing as well. Funny enough , out of the 3 teams competing for the leagues, Arsenal amassed the most point when they all faced each other

liveLongNprospa:Where I used to live before , the surest plug for foreign rice and frozen foods in that area is the wife of a customs officer . If u wan do 15 weddings in one weekend u can get frozen chicken, turkey , fish and gizzard that will be enough to serve all guests from that woman's shop. Same with rice . It's an open secret that customs officers are the biggest beneficiaries of smuggling in this country . Dem dey divert seized goods like mad. What I don't understand is why IBD Dende's lawyers are threatening this guy with lawsuit. Almost everyone knows Dende is a smuggler and with his own mouth in the video he was simply fighting for his right to smuggle goods simply cos he felt customs bosses too smuggle goods. So what's he planning to sue the guy for ? 😂 |
Amigoss:Let the man get court order first and let's see if she will risk prosecution for disobeying a court order. She has a lawyer and Mohbad's father also has a lawyer; there's no need for any media trial like illiterates . At this point we know both parties are fighting for inherits what. Let the court be the umpire , let the court order a DNA test , dictate where it will be conducted and the result sent to the judge who will read it in court. |
Amigoss:Mohbad wife is simply telling Mohbad's father to get a court order that will compel her to take DNA. If Mohbad father wants DNA, let him get get court order that will specify the hospital where the DNA will be conducted so that the man will not later come back to dispute the result of the DNA . That man I'm seeing will contest any DNA result the wife does independently |
Amigoss:It's obviously April fool. Today is April 1st in case u've forgotten |
iamoyindamola:I like how dem really bully am; we match strength for strength |
larride:I agree , but why Elrufai and sons sef no counter am with facts instead of abusing him ? 🤷🏼♂️ They owe the people factual explanation . |
In the three matches Erling Haaland has faced off against Gabriel and William Saliba: - 0 goals - 0 shots on target Complete domination Source: ESPN FC

My boys really use Halland meat rub ground yesterday
|
iamoyindamola:I will trust Arteta to use whoever he decides between Jorginho or Partey depending on who our opponent is and the pattern we want to play . |
afrodoc2:This is what it is looking like at this point until further evidences surfaces because if he collect handover note on May 29; he saw those debt figures and didn't complain one can ask why is he now organizing town hall meeting to announce same thing at this point in time ? And that Elrufai's scallywag son wey supposed just respond with fact dey talk about sleeping in Abuja hotels and the governor appointing gazillion aides as if his own father was a saint in that regard . |
monerozi5590:He obviously picked after his father sha |
afrodoc2:Yeah I get, but going by what the governor read out on Saturday he's saying they have deducted the loan repayment from the FAAC allocation from source . Which should mean whatever remains from the FAAC allocation and the IGR should be able to cater for the state's need in naira if indeed the increased IGR being peddled by El-Rufai's administration is real. Somehow it feels one of the two parties is giving half information for political reasons best know to them |
Ibime:I guess this is the major issue . Everybody want to run their own show , most people who become governor in Nigeria always do this. They want to bring in their own contractors , want to grease the palms of their allies and want to make as much illegal kickbacks from contracts for their pension all from the state's treasury . It's not like El-Rufai didn't do the same cos if we go by the yeye COVID-19 story he sold for those loans, we all know he also helped himself from the state purse |
monerozi5590:If that's the case , why didn't El-Rufai's son just state it in his response to Uba Sani that his father has already increased the state's IGR and that's what the governor should be grateful for instead of whining about FAAC allocation not being enough to sort salaries ? I thought that boy claim to be educated . Why does he choose the path of insult when there's actually fact on ground to counter the governor's claims ? |
