Ibime: You are right. Kaduna IGR is about N80bln per year, more than enough to cover salaries etc.
Why the mudslinging between Sani and ElRufai? This is the million dollar question. |

monerozi5590: Uba Sani is complaining about the exchange rate in paying debt.
If you check what he said yesterday, they deducted his FAAC to service debt. He only received the net allocation.
Kaduna State is paying salary. Kaduna State is not owing her workers one kobo. Nobody arguing what Uba Sani said cos it's out in the open. Below is what he said Kaduna State governor, Uba Sani, has raised the alarm that his administration inherited a huge debt burden of $587 million, N85 billion, and 115 contractual liabilities from the previous administration, making it difficult for him to pay workers’ salaries now.
He, however, said that despite the humongous debt burden on the State government, he was yet to borrow a single kobo in the last nine months of his administration.
The governor, who stated this in Kaduna on Saturday while addressing a Town Hall Meeting, added that the huge debt burden was eating deep into the State’s monthly Federal Allocation of fund, hence the state was finding it difficult to pay monthly salaries.
Governor Sani lamented that due to the rise in the exchange rate, Kaduna State is now paying back almost triple of what was borrowed by the previous administration of former governor Nasir El-Rufai.
He explained that N7billion out of the N10billion Federal Allocation due to the State in the month of March was deducted to service the debt.
The governor further lamented that the state was left with N3billion, an amount which is not enough to pay salaries, as the state’s monthly salary bill stands at N5.2billion. What Theflint1 and other people like myself are concerned about is what the governor didn't say. He didn't talk about the IGR. Yes we undertand there's exchnage fluctuatuons which is affecting the amount they are using to service the debt from FAAC allocation. But what happened to the IGR generated locally ? Like the IGR they generate in real time at the current value of the naira ? He kept mum about that but boldly telling who cares to listen that anytime soon salary might stop for civil servants . The fact that u got March salary as a civil servant does not mean u will get April's. The way the governor came out to announce this unprovoked shows there's shege ahead. Except he just feels like spreading panic to u guys sha |

monerozi5590: Who tell you sai IGR dry up. Even before the coming of El Rufai, Kaduna State is up there in terms of revenue generated per state.
There's a reason why El Rufai is called a digital governor. El Rufai digitised some things in Kaduna State like collection of tax and all. El Rufai reform tax collection in Kaduna State. The E- payment platform helps to block leakages in revenue collection. This even boost Kaduna IGR to a new level.
El Rufai met debt too, both external and domestic debt when he came in as governor. He left with debt too and some savings in the state treasury.
No one can deny the work of El Rufai in Kaduna State, not even his enemies. U are missing his point. He's not claiming IGR dried up; instead he's asking what happened that Uba Sani suddenly cannot pay salaries with increased FAAC allocation and the same level of IGR El-Rufai left behind 9-10 months ago? Yes El-Rufai was also servicing debt and all; but how come Uba Sani is saying Debt servicing alone has swallowed all the state's potential income? What was El-Rufai doing? |

Kimbeast: What a funny post. Dropping my observation on a match I watched has turned to weeping because it involves your team? You better stop going to other clubs thread if people dropping their observation pains you that much. I am in my club thread not yours.
You have even admitted Arteta changed his approach and set up from the Arsenal we have seen over the last two seasons for today game which was what I said. He didn't trust his team to deliver with their usual set up so decided to go ultra defensive. The joke is on u to think Arteta started playing Pep 2 seasons ago. Somebody that whipped Pep on the way to win 2020 FA cup against ur team in the final is who u think should play to the whims of an unknown kimbeast just to prove he's a king Kong against a man he knows how intelligent he is tactically? Just dey play! |

Kimbeast: What does a match from Arteta first or 2nd season has do do with anything? How is that related to the discussion. So it's no longer cowardice but the number of Eason he's spent as coach Abi ? We are getting somewhere . Arteta over the years has deployed different strategies to get the better of Pep but he's not been succesful thus far. Today he went back to the drawing board and he's able to hold Pep's free scoring team to a stalemate but u are here weeping on his behalf. We will gladly take his cowardice that's produce 4 out of possible 6 points for us this season . Stop crying more than the bereaved. If e easy , do am! |

Kimbeast: You don't need to lie just to defend Arteta tactics today.
All your matches last season was interesting. The community shield and the reverse fixture was also good because Arsenal didn't respect city and went for it unlike today.
Community shield: possession was 55% to city and 45% to Arsenal. Passes were 590 to City and 485 to Arsenal.
First leg: Possession was 49% to Arsenal and 51% to City. Passes were 500 to Arsenal and 521 to city.
Today fixture: Possession was 73% to City and 27% to Arsenal. Passes were 700 to City and 265 to Arsenal.
That says it all. Be happy with your point but don't act like Arteta didn't change his whole approach for today fixture. This is Arsenal vs Man city FA cup 2020 U obviously don't know Arteta enough . U can obviously see the passes and possession Abi ? Some of u ehn, na only chelsea match una dey watch and one or two star matches . As far as I'm concerned , Arteta only resorted to a tactic that has earned him a victory against Pep in the past . No more , no less

Kimbeast: This is the reason I said you Arsenal fans are just being defensive for no reason. To us neutrals the Koko is an attacking game of football which we didn't get thanks to Arteta Cowardice. The game was a borefest. No one said you shouldn't be happy with your point so don't tell us not to be disappointed with that eyesore. Arteta won the 2020 FA cup playing a 5 man defence against cheslea . U clearly don't know Arteta can play ultra defence and ultra defence spending on the quality of players at his disposal , quality of his opponent ,response to his opponent's tactics and the prestige at stake . For a long time arsenal just won 2 and drew 1 out of 3 consecutive games against city . U may not see the bigger picture from where I stand but Arteta does and that's all that matter . All those cap about cowardice rest and abide with thee |

Yes , I like that immediate reaction from Arteta . Trossard should know better . There's no way such weak shot will beat the keeper at that distance ; he should know when to pass and when to take shot at goal .
