I am yet to see Bill gates and Warren buffet or their kids brag. Steve Jobss never bragged over wealth but over values, inventions, creative ideas which is same as the other duos. I am yet to see Dangote or his kids brag. There is serious problem in this country. Maybe the watch is made of pure diamonds. We have well to do individuals in sane countries giving back to or to their communities in several measures in terms of cleaner environment, good roads, education, health. All what we get from this lazy ones who can't even design a business plan is to brag. If I ask her to come and invest in an idea now she will start behaving like an overheated car engine. Nonsense. |

Double double: Twin sisters marry twin brothers on the same day
Twin brothers, Chinonso Akinade Okueze and Chibuzor Adelakin Okueze, from Asaba, Delta state married twin sisters, Folawemi Taiwo Okuniyi and Febisola Kehinde Okuniyi, from Ondo state in Ikeja, Lagos state. Is it possible that these couples would have twins themselves?

Politics › Re: Stealing Is Not Corruption - Ekpo Nta, ICPC Boss by Bluffly: 12:54pm On Mar 23, 2016 |
Bull Shit. Because the word stealing wasn't used in the Article 19 of UNCAC and Section 19 of the ICPC act does not expunge stealing from being a corrupt practice. The concept of "Illicit enrichment" covers everything "Illicit enrichment is criminalized under Article 20 of the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC), which defines it as the “significant increase in the assets of a public official that he or she cannot reasonably explain in relation to his or her lawful income.” Illicit enrichment is also prescribed as an offense in the Inter-American Convention against Corruption (IACAC) and the African Union Convention on Preventing and Combating Corruption (AUCPCC) under comparable definitions. Despite such broad international recognition, the criminalization of illicit enrichment is not universally accepted as an anticorruption measure. Instead, it continues to generate extensive debate and controversy". https://star.worldbank.org/star/publication/take-criminalizing-illicit-enrichment-fight-corruption |

They were super complacent in their game in the 2015 general elections and they felt that it was almost impossible to be ousted from power at the center. But with APC's sweeping win, they just entered beast mode. I woulf not be surprised that they win 2019 general elections because they took their rigging game a whole new level..... You can't use one state to justify the beast been awoken. Simple put, PDP cannot afford to loose Rivers just as APC cannot afford to loose Lagos. Rivers gives PDP hope and its good for the game |

They're either walking to/from the beach, pool or a water park around the corner.
The beach is literally on my street, and during the summer, people of all ages, shapes and sizes walk down the street with their kids, dressed this way.. EVERY day.
The US isn't Nigeria. Then again, even in Nigeria, I'm sure ladies wear bikinis at the beach and pools with their kids. The "holier than thou" levels in Nigeria are too damn high. Excuses. Tell me why the boy is well clothed. There is nothing like beach case here. Is beach for females alone? If not then the boy should have been dressed beach like too. |

kimond101: Capital punishment should be given to anyone involved in corruption. That would sporadically reduce the level when some people are made scape goats.
But is this country ready for capital punishment?! I don't think so, because the rights we have over the government they have refused to provide such as constant electricity, good roads, good health care amost others. Even though that doesn't justify being corrupt.
Before we can change the condition of this country we have to change the condition within our own selves. How do we so that?! We follow procedure and stand against corruption same way the OP did.
OP the corruption on those desk at MMIA is disgusting. And it's been like that for a long time. More like corporate beggers in uniform. They know what is right but they feel it's their post of assignment and if they are not sharp about it they can't make it in life with the salary they are being paid by the FG.
Kudos OP! The problem with corruption in this country is that everyone wants to live large. It's not about the salary but living big. Until we learn to leave within the scope of our earnings and ou r leaders stop acting as if-if you are not rich are are one |

I think this is a call to the Federal Government that if someone call still something worth a meagre and die in the process that our public servants stealing billions of Naira and US Dollars should not be spared a second. Enough of this high profile case Buhaha, once you are caught the judgement should be made within two days and be sentenced to death to serve as a strong deterrent for intending ones |

rather say you consult with torch lights , shikenah!
Back to the matter. Thunder go fire anybody wey chop money meant for the betterment of patients. Which 19million are u spending every month?
FG budgets 16M for fueling for a 24hr stable electricity monthly. Meanwhile you don't power your generators for 24 hrs. IBEDC still supply electricity once a while, and the generators don't run at these times.
The main generator and most others are down at the moment due to lack of servicing. True or False? You mean you spend the whole 16m every month? Haba.
It will cost just 40M to link up with Ganmo's 33Kv substation. Why not do that?
EFCC and GOD is watching.
kontinu They are thieves. Is he telling us that they consume about 4,300 litres per day? Even if IBEDC charges them 50k per day is 1.5m per month. This is what I said in one of similar threads. Our leaders lie to our face while both sides knows its a lie and it stays. I am sorry for the future of a Black Nation where leaders does not know anything about leadership and are daft individuals. |
